There was a newspaper article a few days ago about an Eastenders character who became a gambling addict through playing online poker and that as a result, calls for online gambling to be limited have soared (really!).Also last month the number of people playing online slots has risen from 13% to 16% although God only knows where they got that information from.It also reported that a cross-party group of MP's are calling for a ban on gambling being advertised and VIP inducements and for a £2 limit on online slots.
Just more ammunition for the UKGC to bang another nail into the coffin of online casinos.

Yes add to that, my wife watches it, if she didn't I would have no need to pay for the BBC tax that is the licence fee. :(

I haven't seen an episode of DeadEnders since the last century. The last time I saw it, Arthur Fowler was still in it. Long may this continue.

Number of people rose from 13 - 16% - 3% rise in one month!

Stop all other business activities and invest in casinos now before you become swallowed up in the transformation!

Its exploding exponentially! We dont need another pandemic!

They should definitely ban gambling advertisements. I think they're a fucking disgrace and too invasive - it's not like people don't know about the existence of gambling. If someone fancies a gamble, they know what to do. I love gambling as much as anyone but it's impossible to watch TV in the evening without seeing some fucking spiv banging on about the great responsible gambling tools they have on site xyz, as if he gives a flying fuck. It's downright annoying.

Beyond that people should be free to choose how they want to gamble their money once they're aware of the risks.

So I guess that would have nothing at all to do with that land based casinos are closed no ?? Muppets.
