Aristocrat

Yeah, Grosvenor made an ill fated attempt to bring Aristocrat terminals to their gaming floor. My local in Bristol swapped out four Novomatic Terminals (housing 20+ games) to 4 Aristocrats with 'Mo Mummy' Installed. Everytime I visited the Novos were packed and as a last resort the Aristocrats were played.

Fastforward 3 months and the Aristocrat terminals are gone and replaced back with the Novo terminals. I guess the Blue Rinse Brigade didn't like the flashy graphics, poor pays and lack of game choice!

Aristocrat has switched to social casino's as its a much more lucrative option for them. They made 1.3b USD last financial year from "pretend" slots. Why license a product out to casino's when they can make this kind of cash.

A lady was jailed recently who stole 1million to pay one of these social gambling apps. Its just as addictive as the slots yet you will win zero from it.

That's so sad to see. The Aristocrat games from "back in the day" are THE slots I consider the gold standard, really. Inca Chief was the first game I befriended! Buffalo is a brilliant game. There desperately needs to be more competition in the land-based space especially when it comes to games. I don't touch physical slots anymore because the local RTPs are 80% (confirmed in the high roller room once with my own eyes!), but even when I go to Nevada I haven't found a new game that doesn't suck in a long while. I do not understand the folks who are making them popular. But hell, I'm probably the one with the broken brain here.

A friend of mine goes to Bristol Grosvenor quite a lot and they had Bao Zhu Zhao Fu in there for a few months before they got rid of it - I think they waited until the Grand pot was won and then pulled it, otherwise they would have had to disburse the non-seed value back to customers somehow. It wasn't a bad game, just a bit boring compared to all the choice you get on the Novomatic menus. 94.5% RTP as well which was very competitive.

One other thing he mentioned was that all the Novomatic cabinets had been dropped from 94% to 92% RTP when he went last weekend, and the ones that have the linked Joker Jackpot on the top are now all set to 90%. Pretty disgusting if you ask me. Lots of people were complaining about it and it wasn't as busy in there as it usually is...

I would happily give all of my budget to a casino that had a good selection of Aristocrat and/or Konami.

Sadly neither are available at crypto casinos and, as noted above, only very sparse Aristocrats at licensed joints.
It’s a bit strange that Aristocrat hasn’t embraced online gambling more but I guess the licensing deals they have with land based casinos prohibit this from happening.

I grew up with Aristocrat and Konami “pokies” (as we call them down under) as they were in pubs and casinos there. I’m struggling to remember which of the slot names in my head were Aristocrat or Konami but I remember Aristocrat (video) slots much earlier than Inca Chief.

I actually have the emulator versions of three or four Aristocrat slots if anyone wants to play them.. there is Indian Dreaming, 50 Lions and a couple of others. They came out years ago, before online casino's.

Huff n Puff is Light and Wonder and is coming soon.

Unfortunately, as this is Light and Wonder, as usual it's crap. There's already demos floating around including at Slots Temple.
Huff and more puff and Huff and even more puff has been available online in the USA regulated states for a couple months now

They just went online in the states within the past year or two. I'm surprised they haven't added lightning link yet. Within the past month they have began adding their newer games after focusing on their classic catalog.

Where is it coming to Thank you

Huff 'n More Puff is available wide now I think. It used to be exclusive at Unibet, in Belgium, for a while but has now showed up at other casinos too including Bwin (Entain).

It's quite fun and even tho it seems high variance when you see it being played in Vegas it's very tame online compared to Hacksaw, NLC and the likes.
