Anyone Collecting something, whether it be stamps, coins, ornaments, cars, models, trains etc ???

I collect coins to a degree, although not OTT with it, been known to spend them when desperate lol.

Usually the 'special' 50p and £2 coins with the different designs on the front.

Have several sets of the London Olympics 2012 50p's and many others.

In fact I sold a load (160 coins) yesterday as I started to get bored.

Had a few Kew Gardens 50p's also (rare coin) which I sold at around £40 each lol!

Trying to hang onto the Olympic sets as these will only increase in value and getting harder each day to come across

I did have a thing for DVD's also but they've also overtaken too much bedroom space so are e-bay bound later this week also

I am a collector of anything related to Queen - the British rock band yeah.

Vinyls, signed items, concert-books, test-pressings, backstage passes etc.

I haven't collected actively for a few years, but I still have all the items and I will probably, at some point, start to collect new things again.

One of my favorite items is a box set called "The Complete Works" from 1985 (video from "Queen Collectables" below).

WOW Queen, they had some really great songs. Interesting to collect things related to it though as well!

I like dragons, have afew statues/ornaments not heaps though. I do have alot of trains, seems to be a lot of people who love the Thomas The Tank Engine Tomy/Trackmaster trains, as well as the wooden railway series.

Especially the older stuff, and hard to find, yr 1992.
Would love to collect a lot more ornaments, just do not have the room in this house we are in, and I would have loved to have a cacti collection, but since we rent is not worth doing so.

But I also did it for special tournaments like European or World championships football.

I have many completed albums and cherish these a lot.
Some albums I miss one or 2 stickers and I still roam the online internet marketplaces from time to time to try and get these completed.

Last year also did one for the Rugby as there was a special Rugby sticker album with all the good teams in it.

Yeah in the past it was possible to order them with an attached order form in the albums.
Now it is a good way to complete an album because I am old enough to place an order and pay for it haha.
But at the age of 5 or 6 years old there was no way I could accomplish that myself.

I always tried to avoid this way of completing an album anyway as it is a much bigger achievement to complete the album without ordering specific stickers.

I used to have 4 fruit machines in my Mom & Dad's garage when I lived with them.

'Hit the Top' and 'Silver Shadow' £4 token JP (Barcrest??) and 2 x £100 JP 10p play 4-Reel club machines.

Wouldn't mind one now (but a lot more modern) to use as a Money box for our annual Summer Holiday to the coast but wouldn't want to pay much for it as I'm not so sure it would be used much these days.

Love a Barcrest 'Up N Over' or 'Psycho Cash Beast' or Project Coin 'Jackpot 7's' or Barcrest 'Sunset Boulevard' with original Chip but these are so rare and only occasionally pop up at some seaside resorts with the dreaded £5 JP conversion only.

Our old arcade had 3 in a row in the early 90's great machines for converting tokens to cash after I'd 'bashed' the JPM Fireball for £4.80 repeats galore

Oh bloody hell! Famous jpm fireball system5 ! Loved the funky cab, had 5 jackpot run!
I last saw 2 side by side in wsm about 15 years ago.
Oh why can't we go back to 90's and relive on all these £4.80 gems!

Collected up Tarot cards and playing cards till I tired of it. Now they're worth zilch. LOL I like small to medium sized Boyd teddy bears... I still pick up the odd one at yard sales every now and then. Hubby collected probably thousands of poker chips... after 3 years I still have no idea what I'm going to do with them -- no doubt they're worth little compared to what he paid for them.

I collect the tickets that land based casinos give you when getting in.

First one is dated 1988 (when I just turned eighteen) and it was in Venezia LIDO casino (this casino has closed many years ago).
The few casinos which are not giving me a paperticket when entering, I do take a bar receipt, or a 0,05 win, or whatever else which is mentioning the casino name.

All these ticked are collected into a carton box and actually they are over 25 hundreds.

One of these days I'll quit my gambling career and I will light quite a big fire with this collection.

I collected retro video games for a while mostly Nintendo, have about 80 n64 games, 40 gamecube, some Saturn, Dreamcast, PS1 and Xbox (original), not so much of recent as the prices are always climbing and end up priced out of the decent ones. Most recently been picking up Gameboy advance games as they're still cheap.

I never really collected anything but when i started to travel i developed some strange habits. First one was to shoot a picture in front of every airport I landed with the name of it visible on the photo.

After some 70 shots it became boring though and i changed to photograph sunrises or sunsets from airplanes with the wing and engine visible. Did that over 200 times before giving up as well.

My 4 year old son does, mad on the bloody things, every game we play is engines or Thomas TTE related even if its got nothing to do with trains lol.

Treated him to a train track and few engines out my last decent win, worst mistake I ever made lol, had to keep going back to Smyths Toys until he had the full set

Right now the main thing that I collect is comics. I'm really into them now. It actually started when my boyfriend and I started to date because he would go to the comic store all the time, but now he got me into them!
