Don't know where to post this, but I am curious if play for fun casino's have any sort of regulation, as they do sell chip packages for various fees. I have been playing at Click Fun on Face Book for some time now, only because they offer slots we in the US were able to enjoy at one time with Microgamming.
I have made a couple inquires about their games RTP and they dodge my questions and throw me a free chip code. My last question to them was about the free spin rounds never re-triggering during free spins, ever. Also the free spins rounds average at or near 15X my wager, becoming very predictable.
If, like I stated you go to contact and ask therm, they stated one time to be set as a real casino, what like one on it's worst RTP day? If a question or complaint is posted on their fan page, a CS comes along and removes them, leaving them unanswered.
If these game sites are collecting money from players for coin packages, are they then regulated as a real casino would be, or can they just abuse players at will because they don't make actual payouts?

Are they hell regulated, And I do not think they need to be, As you cannot win for real I do not think its classed as gambling, It will be like a punch bag at the fair, Pay to play,

But saying that somebody else just mentioned this in a thread about real online casino's, Thought he had been fiddled due to winning more times in a tourney casinomeister.com/forums/showthread.php?t=73721

What I can say if they are using genuine slot providers such as microgaming or netent than they should not be playing around with the wins, As this will go to show that the games can be infact manipulated and alot of players at the real casino on-line will not be happy

Obviously just a promotional tool used on social media to entice a whole new set of degenerates. I wouldn't be surprised at all if the 'gameplay' was altered and not played like the real thing, if authorized by MG to do so.

Probably as believable as when software providers show us videos of upcoming games with their 'realistic' 50+ wilds and eye-popping wins.

So more of a loophole to allow people to get into gambling as no money is involved, but shady as hell. So like most of my sessions with MG then :(

Not in any way. Fun play or practice play for real casinos does have some regulation, for for those casinos accredited here, it must be the same as real play. For the major platform providers, it will be, whether they are accredited or not. It's set at a software provider level.

For the social media sites, where you can buy chips and watch the reels go by, if you are not patient enough to get your friends to send you some, there's no regulation. None if I want to purchase extra lives or bombs on Candy Crush, or shockwaves on Angry Birds.

You may find some give you more playtime, which is what you are buying, than others

You are purchasing entertainment, no need for regulation as far I can see. I wouldn't purchase a weapon upgrade in game, but lots do, rather than spend 70 hours playing for free.

More than once I've rented a slot video game back in the 80's.

I have a couple of facebook apps I don't use often, but once in a while I'll go in and send my friends chips even if I'm not gonna play, because at times I have, because there are games that I can't play from my jurisdiction, like WMS..

Just to be clear here, I never purchase coin packages from the play for fun casino's. I only play the free chips, when they are gone I will collect the free chips on my next visit. After playing real casino that actually pays out real cash when you win, I see no point in paying for virtual coins that gives you nothing but repetitive spins of the mostly worst RTP in history. I do enjoy playing the MG games, since we no longer have them available to us in the US, but only for the memory of real game play that is still missed. Thanks to those who responded, it is appreciated.
