Are German readers able to connect to Casinomeister?

Hello,

We’ve had recent reports that Casinomeister readers from Germany are having trouble connecting to the site.

Apparently Cloudflare is blocking some German IPs. So far it seems these are IPs used by popular VPN services, but it’s not clear whether those are the only IPs having issues.

We’re interested in hearing from our German readers on this, or anyone else able to access the site through Germany.

Yup, that’s what we’ve seen here too, coming in via VPN as well. And yet a good many Germans _have_ accessed the site in recent days. No idea yet what’s going on, but we’re looking into it.

Its been like that for weeks or even month now. I can only access the site with a VPN.

Site is blocked when I use no VPN or a German VPN. I always thought CM is doing this on purpose because of german laws regarding gambling advertising.

I’ll have to check with the Tech guys of our parent site, it could be that something has been put in place for the reasons you’ve mentioned.

Yep Proton VPN Germany is blocked for me

We’ve since heard that this is _currently_ required due to German legislation. Presumably we may be able to refine our geo-blocking in the future but for now we’re stuck with an across-the-board German ban. Bummer that.

Same here. I wrote to support once but never got a reply. I think Cloudflare has been blocking since the beginning of this year or so.
