Apple introduces the M6

New Apple Silicon has been introduced with the Mac Mini getting the M6 chip and the Mac Studio now getting the new M5 Ultra chip as well as the M5 Max.

So my M3 Ultra Studio ( affectionately known as HAL as it is my own personal headless AI server ) is now no longer running the latest and greatest Apple Silicon.

I'm glad I got my refurbished M4 mini base for £509 back in the day...

Yep the recent price hikes at Apple due to the demand for storage and memory are seriously unpalatable. The M5 Ultra Studio is now £5199 !!!!

No entry level Mac Mini for £599. £899 being the entry price now :-(

The entry level iPad has gone from £329 to £429.

I've just had my iPad Pro 11 M4 replaced by Apple free of charge, out of warranty. It just completely stopped charging three weeks ago. I had to go all Karen on their ass and claim my rights under consumer rights. Their original solution was to sell me a refurbished iPad at a cost of £7 more than the listed prices on their website, at today's prices, not what I paid for it just over two years ago. That wasn't going to happen.

Had an absolute nightmare trying to send my broken iPad back to them for assessment. Twice they sent return boxes that had a zero value on the commercial invoice (it was going to Czech Rep), and both times UPS refused to export it. After many hours on the phone to both Apple and UPS, the iPad was finally exported.

I received it back this morning and am now having all sorts of issues trying to restore it. I've had to put it into recovery mode to restore it, and now it is finally restoring from backup.

I'm also waiting for the new Apple TV as I would like to purchase an additional, but I can wait. But the prices on the Apple TV have increased the most percentage wise I believe.
