My trusty old Iiyama 19" VisionMaster CRT bit the dust recently (cat barfed into it!) and I'm ready to enter the 21st Century, monitor-wise at least. So I'm shopping for a [strike]good[/strike] real good 21 or 22 inch LCD monitor and looking for recommendations. Anything less than $500 suits the budget.
My primary use is office work, secondary is watching movies and such. My wife does some photo work so good colour performance is fairly high on our wish list. Being able to switch to various (custom) colour pre-sets would be a boon. Height and tilt adjust are "wants" for us too but I don't want speakers or need HD or any of the other fancy stuff. Just looking for a solid monitor that's a pleasure to look at really.
So, any suggestions?
