Any tech whizzes help me out with verification?

Hi all,

so I recently joined a casino site (decided to keep my slotting separate to bingo) and they want me to send in verification docs but they need access to my phone camera. I've only done this once before for the NHS app (I only just recently got a smart phone believe it or not) and I did manage to do it but this time my camera just seems to be blocking the site every time. I guess I pressed deny the first time it asked by accident and now can't seem to undo it? I tried to go into settings but I'm bad with technology and couldn't seem to find where to give permission.

I emailed the site and asked if I could send in scans instead but knew they'd say no (because I think they want a selfie-ugh)-but thought they might at least give me some tips on how to get my camera to accept the site but no.

It's a Samsung galaxy. Any help would be greatly appreciated. P.S I hate all this selfie phone camera permission nonsense.

Try this. Go to Settings and search for "Camera Permissions" using a magnifier icon.

Then click on "Camera" and you should see these options:

@Guntis thanks! I did find that and it appears to be already on the first option-yet it's still blocking the site  I did get a bit further and gave something permission (google I think) but still wasn't able to get on the site. Think I'll just tell them to close my account because if I can't do it I can't do it. I really hate just giving up but smart phones give me the rage.

@onelastspintowinbig google chrome just by default as I use that on PC. Would that make a difference? I hate being so useless with tech stuff :(
No that's what I use just wanted to check because different browsers would have different steps to turn on the camera settings. So if you click the 3 vertical dots on the top right of the page and then click settings and then click "site settings" next click "all sites " and search the name of the website you are trying to enable the camera and click it it should show the camera permission off and just turn it on

@onelastspintowinbig thanks! I'll give it one more go. You only get a certain amount of time before they auto suspend your account if you don't send docs in. I'm just glad I didn't win anything on there now. But hopefully I can get it to work now. Much appreciated!

Success! I was able to reset permissions for the casino and get it to work using these steps. Thanks so much for your help. Not sure why I find phones so much harder to navigate than PC. It's been such a headache but I had to do it as I think all new sites you join are asking for this now. I'm sure these tips will help others as well :)
