Another new Wagerworks/IGT slot... "Wolf Run"

Elvis seems to have left the building... Have you tried Pimp My Slot?

Here is my expert review :D I play this game an average of 10 hours a week at the local casino. Like I said earlier...heroin. The online version does have some of the same charicteristics, some of the win sounds etc. but is not nearly as exciting because it is missing so much of the fun music. There are two main differences which make the online one not very fun, or profitable. In the B&M casino you can stop the reels when you see the wilds start to drop. You have to "work" this one to get big wins. But the payoff is terrific! Online the thing will go 10 hand without even a small win, not so in the B&M, you get something every few spins. The bonus free spins does not appear good in either setting however the reels are different and the wilds come out more frequently, again being able to stop it is key in the freespins as well. So in closing I was dissapointed in the online version and since I live in the US I cannot play it to see if it is better for real money than the flash version.

not to start any fights but to compare a slot machine to a killer and monster like heroin is disgusting and ludicris, from someone who beat that monster after 15 years, i should know and thats why i took offense cuz i sure as hell wished i coulda just walked away and it was over with but not in this here real life....enough of a rant sorry

Nothing in my post was meant to be offensive. I just meant it is now my slot of choice. I used to play VP but I like this one much better ...for the fun factor. I am a responsible player and don't ever take more than $100 to the casino. Sometimes I come home with a bunch and sometimes not. My metaphor was just to show how much I love this slot...compared to others.

I played it last night and I have to agree with that. The most frustrating element was the countup in the free spins....I won on all 40 lines and could have gone shopping in town in the time it took to give me my win....bit like Texas Tea in that regard. A fun slot made tedious but I would definately play it if they added a "skip count up" facility.

FYI - Stopping the reels doesn't change the outcome of the game on any IGT video slot. Just makes you play more games in a shorter period of time = losing faster. The outcome in selected when the game is initiated, after you start the game there's no changing it.

That brings up an interesting question. I have always believed in the RNG and that would stand to reason that the game is preselected when you start the reels. But I had an argument with another player who said that the slots at the Indian Casinos don't have chips but rather the game is sent buy the server. I am no computer guru, but my understanding is that the RNG is a programmed chip and that it and only it decides the outcome. Any insite if this guy knew what he was talking about?

Depends on what kind of indian casino you're playing at. Some have class III (Las Vegas RNG games) and some use class II (central determination/bingo games)

I've just had my first play on this one - and already got 2 contrasting screenshots...

Got the free-spins which re-triggered twice for 15 in all... but only won 17 off an 80p bet.
Worst of all was this 40 win shot.... ALL just 3-of-a-kind!

But a few spins later I hit this lovely on a 'normal' 1.60 spin...

Old Attachment (Invalid)

Verdict.... so far - I think I like it!

It must be class II but they took all the bingo things off the machines about a year ago. I'll check and get back to you.

I was just playing it while I wrote a review of it and getting a screenshot to send someone...didn't even pay any attention to the bet size and won this. Close to the holy grail spin, but not close enough :D

Just to let you guys know that like to play Wolf Run but throw the computer out the window during the free throws....they have added a spin button so now you can keep moving (spin through) instead of wait for all 40 lines to add up. Smart of them. I bet they got a LOT of negative feeback from players feeling trapped inside the bonus rounds.

Quite enjoyable, but the graphics don't seem up to the usual standard - some of the symbols look like someone has typed "wolf picture" on google images or something - that aside and the slightly OTT fireworks, it was good. Oh and it gave me 90 =)

This game is in almost every b+m casino.. and it eats money faster than you can believe.

Yes and I am going Friday night to play. I can't wait! I have won so much on this slot it is my favorite. I know some here don't believe it can happen, but you can stop the reels as the wolves descend and win very big. You have to be quick and keep your eyes peeled (as my mother always says) :D

I spoke to Wagerworks at ICE about it the day before you posted this and they said they read the forums and were aware of the issue....obviously fixed it quick.

Hi Simmo! Yes they were very quick to fix it...smart people they are. I won a bundle at the B&M Friday on Wolf Run. I had a nice run at $1.20 so I raised it to $2 and got $480! I cashed out $600 and went home. I LOVE this machine!

Saw that video posted earlier - I bet this is the first (and last?) ever slot named after an apartment block!

Love the game, though - gives a great buzz when the stacked wilds come up in the first couple of columns, waiting to see what will come up next...

Hi everyone -

I have to say the online version is a bit dissapointing to me personally. I am an avid player of it at a local gaming & racetrack. It seems as though the online version sucks your money right up, while at the real casino there are alot more payouts. But I have to say your heart does drop when you see those Wolves fall!
