Seems like Ladbrokes is stopping the promotion of Playboy casino. Along with Home, Showdown, Aces High and Havana Club, seems like the consolidation continues.

It was on the "old" MG software though, as was Home, but it's another hat had Instant NETeller, even though it didn't take US players. Strong brand name though - always thought that one could have done well. Probably the "No US player" thing that scuppered it. For now anyway.

So what's happening with Havana Club??? They're Fortune Lounge aren't they?

It's obvious that I need to read all threads and take notes... I keep missing important things somewhere along the way.

OMG  When did you get that KK?

PS. Whats wrong with that screenshot? ;)
June last year (a distant memory :() - it is in the 'Winner Screenshots' thread.

What is wrong with it?
Well it's in pounds, so that bet was 54p = way to high for a low-roller like me!

BTW, can you move my other thread... into the re-cycle bin - and then burn it??? (Please! :D )

Fortune are stopping promoting it. Honouring existing players but think they'll probably get moved over to another FL in time. Similarly with the other 3 up top there.

Nah...not sure you've suffered enough yet :D

I think that thread should be kept open forever as a example why not to post while drinking....or at the very least to think before you post! :D

I've just checked these sites and, with the exception of Havana, they're all still up. Home, Showdown and Aces are operated by the BelleRock group btw.

Do you have more detail on this information, Simmo?

Hi Jet

There was a PR email from ReferBack in March about stopping these. I don't appear to have the email anymore but this is a quote from it from a member at CAP:

New players visiting the acquisition websites for Home, Aces High and Showdown Casinos will be redirected to River Belle, where they will receive a free New Player Sign-up Bonus.

Cheers

0.54 bet, all 9 lines played, 5 "spring break"s, but...... won 0.00

I remember this one clearly... Heh hee.. He took the screenshot after the win had shown due to Autoplay settings, and spent the next few hours posting cashcheck etc to prove the win (about 650 from memory)... One and only time I've ever seen that!

That is no surprise Ladbrokes dropping Playboy. An awful idea taking Playboy on in the first instance. Seriously. The fact they couldn't market it to US Based players from day one and the fact that you don't normally come across one armed gamblers. One armed bandits yes, but not gamblers. :D

There were times, when my team who tested the casino daily, wagered more money on playboy then all the other customers combined.

Playboy on a whole has proven to be a very costly mistake for ladbrokes and I am just surprised it has taken them this long to reach this decision to drop it.

Da Da Da another one bites the dust.....

All these casinos were pretty much doomed from the get go, I really so no reason for all these casinos anyway, pretty soon 32 red will be the only one in business with roxy a close second:D
