Made a small w/d 8am yesterday and nearly 1pm the today it is still pending:what: got on to live chat who sorted it and said i will most prob receive the money today which wont happen (back to card) Why in this day and age do some casinos still have a pending stage after a w/d or is that a stupid question:p

With regards to why this process is in place, is down to resources. As a relatively small platform we don't have the system in place or the man power to process these any quicker. However as we grow this is one element of the customer experience we will look to improve as we can. Hope you join us for the ride.

It's great that you intend to address this pending period as I'm sure it puts some people off depositing. The other small thing that perhaps you could look at in the future is the loyalty scheme, as a low roller I mainly deposit between £20-£50, that would be a lot of losing deposits before I could cash in my loyalty. (Which disappears if I withdraw) Maybe it could be cashed in when it reaches a pound or two?

There's lots to like about All British, regular promotions with reasonable wagering, great CS, and, I have not been disconnected from a game there. Really enjoy playing there and feel safe that I will be paid.
Deserve to be accredited IMHO.

I don't agree with your assessment of the situation. My understanding of the forum rules is that complaints must be posted in the complaints section of the forum. Which is where my views are to be found. A VERY disappointing outcome indeed for a casino seeking accreditation.

The norm in such situations, even in the bad old days, was that the casino would return the deposit to the player, void the winnings, and often close the account. The better ones would reset the balance to the beginning and offer the player the chance to "try again", still the same as voiding the winnings, but not presented in such a negative manner to the player.

For casinos, confiscating deposits can be dangerous as the player could pursue the matter via their bank, and under such circumstances would usually win, even though they would get banned from here. This is why even the worst rogues tend to return deposits when showing a player to the door. Voiding winnings is safe from the casino's point of view because this isn't something that can be pursued via the bank by the player.

In the UK, we have consumer protection laws, which now apply to UKGC licenced online casinos, including one that broadly states that the consumer "must be treated fairly" in how terms are interpreted and applied. In this case, a selective approach has been used in order to allow the casino to "win" the deposit, whilst voiding the players' bets that lead to the overall winning balance which was confiscated.

It's how a judge will view such an interpretation when viewed in the context of the Consumer protection legislation that matters, not what the casino or it's primary licencing jurisdiction says it can get away with.
 
Give him back his deposit please. You know its not right to take his own money because he breached the $5 max bet rule. You take the winnings back but not the deposit too.

This really isnt even a case of freerolling a player, I look at it as outright stealing.

In the future please respond in public when being called out in public. You basically didnt defend yourself and therefore everyone assumed we got the full story.

She lost her deposit. Dipped into bonus funds then breached the terms. Alot different from the story we got.

However just a quick note, if someone asks a question publicly I am more than happy to respond publicly. However the query you quoted me on, the initial inquiry was made via private message. So out of respect to the forum member I responded privately. Only then afterwards the forum member made the issue public in a separate thread which they posted the link to. At this point my colleague Jan responded publicly whilst I was on holiday.

It still hasn't been processed as of this morning though. CS are saying withdrawals are only processed Monday to Friday. I guess this means office hours as my withdrawal was made on a Friday, albeit after 5.pm UK time.

One good feature however was that even though I'd taken a 25% deposit bonus I was allowed to forfeit the bonus and withdraw as I hadn't touched any of the bonus money, CS were very helpful in this.

Yes my withdrawal was processed by close of business on Monday and in my account today. Not the quickest from a withdrawal on Friday evening, but there are slower out there! The main thing is that the money was received of course, so a good experience in the end.
