Had some money lying around at a casino account and so decided to show that I both lack sense and am a tad masochistic.

177xbet balance playing Aliens. 1 win barely over 30xbet. balance lasted 517 spins.

Then I put 1000 spins (0.30€/spin) through the game in free money mode in search of that elusive 100xbet.

No 100xbet. No 50xbet even. 30xbet was breached ONCE. Balance down over 130€.

The paytable is awful.

I think NetEnt lost a big opportunity here.
This is not a "standard" slot, where bars, seven and usual symbols are shown. Considering its theme, this was to be THE slot for year 2014.

Exacly im not a fan of DOA base game but i love the bonus round, mainly because it can give you huge hits unlike this new games i doupt your ever gona see 1000x on the Alien game, WW have the potential to give you 1000+ in FS but so far ive only seen 3 stacked wilds in screen shots.

I would agree that there is a lot of Negativity around the new releases. Some people are more outspoken than others but thats how forums are.

To give you an idea, I classify the Wild Waters Slot as Crap - Primarily as I do not feel there is 'value' for money. I didn't try it in fun mode much, I played for real mostly (after saying I wouldn't). I have done a few thousand spins (about 3k) and am on about 70% RTP with a net loss of a few thousand just at one Casino - I have lost at others too. Am I saying the Slot is crap ONLY because I lost? No... Do I feel I gave it a good go - Yes

There are a number of factors to taken into consideration:

The entertainment factor - Hard to trigger Free Spins and the Base Game is Boring.

Payout Factor - Small wins in the base game and equally small wins in the Free Spins. I have seen a few hits in the 300x to 400x range. Does that justify the variance for me - NO.

Recovery Factor - Medium to Low - If this Slot is on a bad run, say bye bye to your money. I have recovered or gone ahead by about 50 to 100x on the rare odd occassion. Luck? Maybe, but then again I cant see potential here in the long run...

I too managed to turn my 10 free spins at betsafe into £90 in the space of 10 minutes. The problem is that if you then carry on playing after a big hit the slot then just sucks your money back immediately. I have never played on a slot that gives so many consecutive dead spins before. I had a couple of runs of 30-40 spins that were totally dead - literally nothing back. Same thing happened at another casino that was today dishing out free spins on this slot. I managed a reasonable win of about 50 times bet and then bang - continued play just sucked it back up immediately.

I've copied Paul's answer, but expanded it a bit as even he said he doesn't fully understand it! (some bits he said were wrong)

When you get a win it moves along the bar at the top - one place for each of the winning symbols - but NOT including any wilds.
Also each symbol of the same type gives an increased multiplier to that symbol for all future spins.
e.g. 3 x Eggs (no wilds) will give a x4 multiplier. If you hit 3 Eggs again while the original 3 are still in view on the bar, they go up to x7.

A losing spin moves the symbols on the bar back one.
Also, as a symbol "drops off" the left-hand end of the bar, all the other SAME symbols get their multiplier reduced by x1.

Once it reaches end you get free spins. The free spins work by giving you 3 of a kind from lowest at start all the way up to highest, with a bonus multiplier which matches the highest figure on the bar on the first stage for each specific symbol.

You start with one magazine round and once the free spin starts the slide bit has either 1,2 or 0 magazines , once its slid you shoot aliens and it moves to next level.

Not certain if the "hive" bit is right as I only got there once the first time I played it, and at the time I also did not have a CLUE what was going on!

Re the slot overall: There are differing opinions as you would expect with any slot. I can see where the "NetEnt bashers" are coming from, but I can also see that if you want to make a slot with lots of action & features that are relatively easy to trigger, those features can't be paying out big amounts every time. It IS low variance and it IS entertaining... for about 15 minutes.

The Hive - There are no more "rounds" you can collect during the Hive. You just have those 5 rounds everytime and thats it.

But everything can happen there. I had for rounds that gave me nearly nothing and with the last round a 4 x 10 step, so always keep believing

I really like this slot.

I've copied Paul's answer, but expanded it a bit as even he said he doesn't fully understand it! (some bits he said were wrong)

When you get a win it moves along the bar at the top - one place for each of the winning symbols - but NOT including any wilds.
Also each symbol of the same type gives an increased multiplier to that symbol for all future spins.
e.g. 3 x Eggs (no wilds) will give a x4 multiplier. If you hit 3 Eggs again while the original 3 are still in view on the bar, they go up to x7.

A losing spin moves the symbols on the bar back one.
Also, as a symbol "drops off" the left-hand end of the bar, all the other SAME symbols get their multiplier reduced by x1.

Once it reaches end you get free spins. The free spins work by giving you 3 of a kind from lowest at start all the way up to highest, with a bonus multiplier which matches the highest figure on the bar on the first stage for each specific symbol.

You start with one magazine round and once the free spin starts the slide bit has either 1,2 or 0 magazines , once its slid you shoot aliens and it moves to next level.
Once you have no bullets left, if you have used them all and slide bit gives no more the next alien wave kills you.

Once you get to the hive it spins different amounts to move up nearer the queens death and pays you more the higher you get. Again once bullets run out you die and return to normal game.

Not certain if the "hive" bit is right as I only got there once the first time I played it, and at the time I also did not have a CLUE what was going on!

Re the slot overall: There are differing opinions as you would expect with any slot. I can see where the "NetEnt bashers" are coming from, but I can also see that if you want to make a slot with lots of action & features that are relatively easy to trigger, those features can't be paying out big amounts every time. It IS low variance and it IS entertaining... for about 15 minutes.

Done a good amount of spins on it so far, and it does gives tons of features in streaks but uselly never pays much and when it goes cold you loose so fast.

Done 25-30features so far and only managed to get to the queen 2times got the 2 lowest wins but i can see the potential for big wins in "freespins" as the bonus feature is 240x if killing the queen.

did it like described and finally got these 30FS @GUTS just need to download dll file place it to firefox folder, but it is laggy
as hell because it uses CPU instead of graphics card, smaller window + low setting inside game will help a bit

at least they are aware of this problem so this way don't have to wait ages until they fix it

Well, I was too quick in thinking that this would really solve the problem... it hasn't for me Have followed the instructions, but in Firefox the message remains: "graphics hardware not enabled" and in Chrome: "unsupported computer hardware".

I have 60 fs waiting on Aliens at Guts and was told that NetEnt would look into this problem and that the spins are valid for another 7 days...

I just have to wait...

Not to be touched again, Just gave this game a good beating to test £50 gone on 15 - 30p spins, Had two bonus round 1st was of 15p and got £4.05, 2nd was 30p a spin return £1.05, 1st game took over 5 minutes and still crashed at the end, Who ever designed this needs shooting them self, Its like a old atrai 2600 on steroids, What a waste of time the put into this, Its a disgrace,

Just about every casino going is throwing free spins at existing customers and I am p*issed off that I have been lured into this sh*tshucker again. I finally realised that the thing that riles me up most about this machine is the carrot dangler multiplier at the top. Because this is key to progressing to the "bonus" round, being at the top of the screen it actually lures your attention away from the most important thing on screen - your balance.

So while chasing (in a futile manner yet again) spins to fill up the multiplier slots on the top, your attention is diverted away from the fact that you have lost 20x stake trying to fill it up having reached the penultimate slot (yet again) and then hitting a dead spell of 8 spins or so to drag you back down to zero. Wearing my cynical hat I must congratulate NetEnt in this regard - I have yet to play a slot that has a feature that so effectively distracts ones attention from your balance and hence how much of your balance that you are haemorrhaging.
