I took Aspinall's for about a $250 profit, so I figured I'd try 24 kt., flamingo, and the other casinos in that group. Here's what happened:

They don't give you your bunous automatically. You have to call in and ask request that they credit it to your account. So I joined 24 K, called them up and told them to give me the bonus. No Problem. They credited my account. I bet it all on one hand of BJ and lost. Still, no cause for concern. The house is favored. I should expect that them to win.

So then I joined Flamingo Club, a skin from the same group. I called the casino, at a different number, but the same customer service rep answered.

I have this paranoid theory that some casinos have a switch they use against players they label "bonus abusers." Their games are basically fair, but if they feel that you're trying to take them for the bonus money, they fix the game so you can't win, and they think that they're justified in doing so.

I figured the rep would recognize me anyway, so I decided to use a little reverse psychology. I told him that I was talked to him a few minutes earlier when I requested my 24K bonus, but I lost it all, and so I opened an account at the Flamingo. I figured that if I treated him like a complete stranger, he'd recognise me and tag me, but I hoped that if I acknowledged speaking to him earlier, he would either not peg me as a bonus abuser or let me slide.

This time was different from the time before. Instead of Instantly crediting my account with the bonus, he had me hold on to speak with someone from the promotions department. I waited on hold for about 5 minutes, and the same customer service rep came back on the phone to tell me that he had credited my account with the bonus.

So now I'm crazy paranoid. I'm thinking he didn't just credit my account with a bonus. He stuck a "bonus abuser" tag on me to make sure I would loose no matter what. Part of me felt like I was just being overly paranoid, and that I would get a random game. Another part of me felt like I should just tell them to give me back my money, they can keep their bonus. Greed got the best of me, and I decided to trust them a little.

I didn't trust them enough to throw down the whole $300 on one hand, but I figured if I used Martingale, starting with a $5 bet, they would have to let me win an occasional hand, and since I only needed to wager 4x deposit and bonus, I had a good chance of leaving with some sort of profit.

Didn't happen. Lost my 1st $5 bet, lost my 2nd $10 bet, lost my 3rd $20 bet, lost my 4th $40 bet, lost my 5th $80 bet, and lost my 6th $145 bet, all in a row.

So, the one bet I lost at 24K, and the 6 in a row I lost at Flamingo make 7 losses in a row. This happens about 1% of the time. So maybe I just caught a bad run. But it seems really strange that this just happened to coincide with the customer service rep making me wait on hold five minutes before giving me my second bonus, especially since he gave me the first one right away. My gut tells me that it wasn't chance; something fishy went down.

Anyway, be careful, and if anything strange like this happens to you, please share it.

Jeeeeeze! Paranoid?
If there was ever any evidence anywhere of a 'switch' - this is it!
That was diabolical!
I'm joining the paranoid club & putting all these casino's on my blacklist.

Good luck winning your cash back - at a reputable casino!

Chop-choi, I've played at quite a few of their casinos (I think there are now something like 15 of them  ) and apart from not being able to use standard Neteller (only an Instacash option) & therefore only being able to get winnings by cheque haven't had a problem. The person crediting the bonus did once comment that I seemed to have played at a few of their casinos so would know the bonus rules, but I think I went on to win that time. To be honest I'm just in love with that woman's voice on the answerphone :D

Anyway, I don't think anyone's flicking a switch - that's just Playtech BJ for you. It's definitely not a good idea to play a negative progression with it, nevermind the Martingale. I wouldn't make a large bet without having won at least the last two hands, but you're probably better off playing VP.

switch

Chop-choi, you are not alone and you are not paranoid.
I feel and experience the same. The casinos set their software to "good" in the first sessions and let you win.
When you come back and want more - this is very human, you can say it is greed - they switch it and take back all the money and more.
It is also not a good idea to play the martingale on the begining. According to my records there seems to be a pattern that it will always (2/3) goes down a little bit at the start. Maybe they will pretend people going in, play 2 hands, win it and log out.

If you are so paranoid, why didn't you make a sequence of $1 bet just to see how it went?

Yes but the fact that a lot more casinos use MG software and therefore more people are playing MG games explain part of more people hitting MG's jackpots.

*I wonder if one could apply for a job in the call center and then check things out for yourselves. I don't think they TAG your games, but maybe they do tag your name. Hmmm, would this then give life to that notorious 'global bonus abuser' list. Either way. If you are wrong you are wrong. And if you are right you are right. You would like to protect yourself if someone take advantage... as the casino's would. ANd of course, you would want to get as much free as you can (since it is your right, rIght!)
Two sides. Always. Try and remember that!

Hi guys,
I've been reading this forum for a while now but this is the first time I've posted.

Just thought I'd share my experiences with this group of casinos.
I've played at every Casino mentioned by chop choi, and I've had fairly good wins at all of them, except Aspinalls.
I also have had that same experience of having to ring up the call centre and deal with the same service rep when requesting 2 bonuses in one day, however I experienced no so called 'switch effect'.
In fact at all the casinos, except aspinalls (I busted out), I cashed out a profit of beetween $250 to $350.

I Personally don't think there is a 'switch'. Terrible losing streaks can happen on any brand of software.
Losing 7 hands in a row is pretty bad luck, but this is just the nature of gambling.
I lost 13 hands in a row last time I played at omnicasino, and I don't hear anyone complaining about them...(yet)

I'm not Claiming that playtech doesn't have a switch or is not rigged software.....However my own experience with playtech BJ is that I have never experienced anything beyond the realms of normal standard deviation.

Cheers

I think you are one of the lucky few who have received a fair game on Playtech BJ. There are too many personal experiences from many posters and statistical evidence to show that there is something definitely wrong with the game. I'd rather play their live BJ game or BJ Switch (which feels non-random sometimes but my personal results have been close to expectation).
