Please explain to this American why a casino would accept our money (USD) but not our players????? And please do not use our screwball laws/government as an excuse. Thanks.
See in my mind, that's the rub. Using USD to facilitate a business model/plan and then excluding Americans from participation is just plain wrong.
My British cousins are getting excluded from casinos they have played for years. Why???
What the hell is happening to our freedoms?

So thinking about UIGEA (yeah, I know I said not to use that as an excuse for why we can't gamble in USD-accepting casinos) how does all that USD cash go to and fro and our government allows that to happen?
So is the whole point of that to exclude us and not the BS excuse that the banks cannot facilitate the transfers from US player to casino/casino to player?
The processors are having the hassle getting all that USD cash to flow from player's bank to casino (easy part) and then from casino's bank to player (nigh impossible part). No wonder so many Canadian checks are used that fail.
Welcome to the wonderful world of placing bets on anything but horses.
It's not actual physical hard currency cash changing hands. It's simply the value of the US $ that is being used to calculate the deposit wager and withdraw. The player is depositing in his native currency converted to the value of a US $ for the purpose of gaming and then withdrawing it back and converting it back to their native currency. No physical US cash is ever changing hands.
That hits the nail right on the head.I think you missed the point. My beef is with my government -- USA -- apparently making casinos so paranoid they are afraid to allow players from the USA to play.
BTW the good old USA runs on the tax dollars of millions of hardworking Americans. The same Americans that can't do what they wish with their own money. That sucks.
What other brands have you tried?@Suzecat In a nutshell I FEEL you too. To make a long story short. I am sick of RTG also. Wished we could play some of the other major brands.
