As some may be aware i done ok today in the land of slot.
I had £125.20p left in my casumo account, I was going to play it away, then I stopped on thought maybe I can use this to help someone.
So that's what I'd like to do.
This isn't to point score nor curry favour here with anyone it's just a gesture.
Now I'm not sure how donating works to charities on here so apologies if this is the wrong way of doing things or in the wrong place. However I was going to suggest people ask for a said charity, and come Wednesday what ever charity has the most votes I'll donate that £125.20p to said charity.
Naturally I'll screenshot the transaction and any contact i need to have with the charity chosen.
So pick away guys...

Any charity that supports rehoming greyhounds which are seen as a disposable commodity when they no longer win their races and are subject to horrific abuse in a bid to made them non identifiable i.e cutting their ears off to get ridd of their identifiable tattoo's - seems apt as they are a bi product of the gambling industry.

I will love you forever if you do :D I am such a creep huh?

Do they have a registered charity? If so I'll keep note.
And creep yes, but I'm easily bought lol!..

Why not donate shares of it to your fav group of people, online streamers?

I like greylady's idea, i didn't know they treated greyhounds in such horrid ways. its bad enough how they are kept and used as entertainment in the first place.

The cash is there for the members on here whom decide needs it most.
If anyone knows anyone by all means mention it.

You know where my heart lies. Cancer devastates in all areas. It ruins people physically, mentally and financially. And it takes years to recover. I have started a list for people to get help in Canada, UK, States. Canadian Cancer Society contrary to what people think, only directs you to other areas, and supply rides at a cost. So now I am telling people to donate to a preferred cancer centre. I lost my job because of going back to soon and treatments. But I am going to make it my mission for people to be " aware". Good luck, and bless your heart for picking what ever you do. It is very honorable :)

My heart lies there also.
I just thought I'd make this a members decision, and not solely mine.
It's rare a little win like today happens, just thought I'd give a little back.
Especially on here as there's a group of decent people.
I'll definately be attending the next meet should I be home from work.

Cancer is close to my heart too having only recently lost my father to it but I didn't opt for it here as in the UK there is absolutely millions spent on research and treating cancer and I tend to support smaller charities who struggle to survive but being there makes a massive difference to either human or animal kind :)

Must agree on this.

Hi Playford,

This is a really nice gesture, and great that you're allowing the members to pick the charity the funds are donated to.

We would love to match your donation of £125.20 to whichever charitable cause the CM members choose. I'm not sure if I'm allowed to vote too! But just in case, I would vote for the Make A Wish foundation (

) who grant wishes to children with fighting life-threatening conditions, or to donate to a charity that supports cancer in light of Bebo67's recent journey.

We'll post our screenshot of the donation to the cause of your choice when a decision is made,

Best of luck,

Rachel.

Absolutely awesome gesture!. It's actually £125.20p don't forget the 20p lol!..
In my eyes your perfectly allowed a vote, but it's not my house!
As said not sure if this is the right way to do this but I've had a good response and it'll help somewhere :)
Kudos trada, again!.

Sorry seen you added the 20p my bad lol

We've had a donation page set up at CM for some time. It kind of got lost during the relaunch. I need to beef this up a bit - but it has some worthwhile charities listed there. Many of which have been submitted by our members.
