Greetings! I wanted to tell my story about a very strange behavior of a popular streamer and wanted to know if you have ever found yourself in a similar situation? What incidents have you had with streamers?

Twitch: TheDoctor, 24800 followers. Several people take turns streaming slots almost every day. I think they are the ambassadors of a casino Gamdom.
I've been watching for a long time - they only play in one casino.

There was a money draw on Twitter. Subscribe to YouTube, like, comment and post a screenshot to Discord. The first 5 people get $50 today. There were a lot of applicants, but I managed to get there before the others. I'm sitting, waiting for my honestly won prize.

12 hours have passed - silence. I won for the first time, I didn't find any rules for getting a prize in Discord, so I decided to write to the streamer and find out when I get the prize.

The reaction was strange and inadequate - he refused because I asked about the prize (a screenshot of the correspondence will be below). I apologized, explained that it was the first time I had won something and I just didn't know the rules. He said OK, wait.

I'm sitting, waiting for the prize. 8 days have passed...
I decided to write again. I turned to him very politely, said that I had been watching his streams for a long time, I liked them (which was absolutely true at that time) and at the end politely asked about the prize. In response, silence.

Today it's been almost 2 weeks, and even to me, stupid, it became clear that I would never get anything. And I wrote for the last time - to say goodbye to this streamer. And express my disrespect to him.
This time I got an answer. And the reaction was again strange and inadequate.

I made the only logical assumption that all these money draws are just a promotion in order to attract viewers to play at the casino. At the same time receive money from advertising. But when he needs to be given a prize not during the stream and when no one sees it, he may not give money... And I called him greedy. Which in my opinion is true. A person who plays a $200 bet for one spin - 2 weeks cannot give his viewer $ 50. It's just some kind of cosmic greed.

To which he suddenly started telling me how much he donated to charity... I have a question - how does this relate to my prize? Or if he donates to charity, then he can do contests on Twitter, and then not give prizes?
And I do not know if he is donating or not. I can't check it. But suppose he donates. This is all a show-off again. Being kind and good is when someone sees it. The same as giving money away during a stream. And when no one sees, he can deceive. He can be himself...

In general, I wanted to ask, maybe I don't understand something? I've never encountered this before. After all, there is an unspoken agreement. Streamers receive money from advertising, contracts, and so on. They make contests, promote their social networks. They attract viewers, and sometimes we win something and we can also play in the casino. And everyone is happy. But when you are simply deceived and you are forced to humiliate yourself in order to get an honestly won prize, it is devastating. And plunges into a sad mood. For someone, this is probably ridiculous money. But for me it's a significant amount.

This is my negative experience. This is the first time I've encountered this and I've never heard of it. So this is an isolated case. And most streamers are adequate good people.
Tell me about your experience with streamers, if you have one. Good luck to everyone!

You mention 200 euro/dollar/pound spins so I expect it's the casino's money and not his to give out. The competition was probably a stunt for more subscribers,it seemed it worked, and now they have got the advertising revenue they wanted.

I also think it's casino money. And just attracting players. I wonder why people don't think about reputation? Thousands of viewers know these people and they cheat like this. It's amazing to me.

It's more of a philosophical question. A lot of things in our society are built on trust. And compliance with agreements. That is why we can so easily pay for the goods in the store in advance and we know that it will be delivered to us. We don't need a team of lawyers to order pizza))

Send the copies of his replies to the casino he is suppose to be streaming from
Most likely wont make a diffrent but would be cool to see if they reply as its a pretty shocking answers you are getting
Thank you for advice. I'll try it later. I wanted to see people's reactions first. Because I started to doubt at some point - what's going on, maybe I'm wrong and I don't understand something? For me, it was incredibly strange behavior of a public person.

Looks like it was a bogus comp all along. Any way you could see the other winners and reach out to them?

He gives money on streams - I saw it with my own eyes. If the Twitch account is linked to the Gamdom account, then the transfer to the casino account takes place directly in the Twitch chat. Also with free spins. It's there, I've seen it.

But it's not about what is done for show, publicly, on the stream. But I can't find those who won outside of the stream right now. He banned me on Twitter and on Discord.

On Twitch, he probably banned me too - I didn't even check. I won't watch it myself. This is too much.

Just read his reply in the first screenshot. You just politely asked, what a prick for answering like that. Don't know that streamer at all, to be honest I'm not really sure how you could get your prize now that he's banned you.

I don't expect to get anything anymore. I just wanted to share my strange experience. I think this is nonsense. The sediment remained unpleasant.
You won something, and then you are ignored for a long time, then insulted and eventually banned.
For no reason at all. It's even funny - it's so absurd.

Probably got used to reacting to people like that while behind a screen. Pretty sure he wouldn't have said the same had you asked publicly while in a live chat. Guy needs a good slap tbf.
Thank you for your words of support. You have formulated it very precisely. I thought about it, but I couldn't formulate it.
Really so. A person treats the audience as some kind of lower class of people, judging by his answers. He is a star, and we are some beggars in the chat, to whom he sometimes throws free spins, like a dog is thrown a bone.
Although if you think about it - he lives at our expense. He's rich at our expense. He has the opportunity to giving money, because about a thousand people watch each of his streams. And such disregard for the audience, at whose expense it exists. Amazing.

Just checked out a part of his last stream. He’s an Aussie. Need I say more (disclaimer: I’m a kiwi so Australians are a natural enemy lol).

Sorry to hear you didn’t get your prize, and that you got treated like this. Disgusting. At least you’ve given some of us a heads up not to watch his streams.

The reason they'd speak to their viewers like this is because they can, because they know they're held in high esteem, revered as some type of entertainment gods, and so a lot of the time they're just preaching to the converted.

If said viewership was 35 subscribers then you'd probably encounter a different tone, one less 'non-welcoming'. Gamblers are fickle and easily distracted, there's almost no need for any streamer to honour any type of tinpot comp they compile, because chances are they're not bound by any particular terms, other than their 'word'. They could run another comp straight after and everyone will have moved on already.

So it comes down to trust, as with every transaction between parties, though in this case the guy's attitude was clearly hostile from the outset; I thought the initial enquiry was polite and unworthy of being shot down. Apparently giving money to charities gives you free rein to act like a grade-A tool, who knew!

But in essence, this just further proves that no matter how shiny a promo you throw out there for the hordes, or how often, you can't buy class, and further illustrates how integrity is a dying art

Indeed, integrity is a dying art... Well said.
Probably the only cure for such behavior here is for it to become public. Then at least they won't behave unethically and dishonestly, because the costs are much greater than the benefits.

These scumbag car sales men still up to no good as usual. Cant for the life of me understand why people watch these parasites!

Theres so many good tv series, shows, etc on netflix youtube etc

Why would anyone want to watch a guy put his hands on his head, With his mouth wide open! over a 200x win with a fake funded test account on a dog shit untrustworthy casino?

Boggles the mind! :confused::confused::confused:

Most streamers are good guys. They also like to give. It's not a zero-sum game.
If the streamer gives away part of the money, he gets more viewers, the viewers win and are happy, the viewers go to play at the casino, the casino is also pretty. Everyone gets a profit.
It's a pity that in the 21st century there are streamers who still don't understand such elementary things))

I've been the recipient of one of Kroffe's giveaway streams, and let me tell you, I'll never look at golden showers the same way again
I felt the same way myself the first time I got covered in honey-coated jism....

Well that's MYYYYY reputation upheld for today
