hi guys!
this might be my luck, but its very hard to believe. now i know that how can this group be so genoerous in bonuses and signup bonuses. i just lost $600 in about 5 mins playing bj.i played 36 hands.
won hands = 7
push= 5
loose =24

is it a bad luck or a proprietry casino adjusting odds for its favour?
this group definitely deserves its place in the rogue. definitely not to play, not to promote and a bunch of dishonest group.

So I'm guessing that you'll be taking down that 888 banner at the top of your website's main page?

What type of strategy did you use? When did you hit and stand?

I did very well at 888.com and gained ~$825 (including bonus) on a $200 deposit playing BJ.

Hmmm..... strange statement from a promoter of this group.

However, I am sure their software is fair. I won shedloads (on BJ) there before they e-mailed me saying they were unhappy with my business! (ie winning)

They now have the arrogance of a group that thinks its size allows them to act only in a way that suits them and not their customers.

i do promote 888 but i am a player as well.it might be my bad luck.but having this kind of bad streak just makes me suspicious.i dont doubt that this can happen in a real casino as well.but 1 question is arising in my mind. if a group is dishonest with its affiliates, then why should they be honest with players. just curious... besides having 2 satisfied customers out of 10 customers is not the credibility of fair gaming.

well.. i have been promoting this casino from last 2 years...and i have this run today...

my website is a gaming directory. forsure i am going to take off all the banners from prime positions but as my website is gaming directory, its name will be listed on my website.

Just a suggestion from a player's standpoint, but if I were you, I'd take them off completely until you're convinced they're not cheating.

Bottom line is, if you think they're cheating, why keep sending people there? Unless you believe the revenue you get from their signups/deposits is more important than not sending people somewhere they may get screwed at.

many casinos offers cost per aquistion. comission on a deposit.mean we dont get comission on player losses. beside i just tell you guys that i have an unbelieveable bad run, which is hard to believe. and all ppl instead of sharing this point..started a new thing.. which is not a part of this thread.well i am not going to reply anymore question. i expressed wat i felt.here are somecasinos which are a part of casinomeister reputable list, but near me are just ripoffs based on wagering structure.but i dont have a question about that.casinos are here for business, which we all know.

Fine. Show the logs from this small sample to enforce the title of this thread....Claiming a casino cheats is quite a strong accusation.

 good point!

nikest,

Now let me get this right.

As a player you doubting the legitimacy of 888's blackjack, (which you've got the right to do). However, as as webmaster your still promoting them. Unless the player and the webmaster (that's you) hold split personalities, trying to justify your arguement and stand on this is a moot point.

From my view your actions are saying don't rip me off personally, but personally I don't mind ripping players off. Your the one still promoting 888 as an affiliate.

Using that as a genuine example is it any wonder people are jumping all over your ass!

Nikest,

Okay, if you want to concentrate on the results of your BJ session, I will do just that although I do agree with the guys who have posted.

Have you played just one session of BJ at 888 ever? If not, what were the results at the other sessions? If you have just played 36 hands, this is an extremely small sample size and I wont regard that as cheating. In fact, from my limited plays at all the major software including MG, RTG, Crypto and Playtech, I think the software that 888 uses is very fair with very few long winning or losing streaks the latter of which is bound to enrage you. For the other 4 major software, there are bound to be some streaky sessions within I say at least once about every 5 sessions where you can lose/win 6-7 hands in a row. That normally doesnt happen at 888 where the player's third card and the dealer's second card is very random and difficult to guess. As much as I have seen a dealer's 5/6 resulting in 20/21, I have just as often seen them bust on an Ace.

Not wishing to side only with 888, have you met anyone who thinks its BJ have become streakier lately or where losing sessions come in abundance. If not, well, I will just have to say that your session is pure bad luck. I have seen far worse at Crypto ie 10 consecutive losing hands but other than moan about it, I cant say its rigged, can I?

Hi nikest,

Coming to a website like this one, and starting a thread entitled "888 cheats" is a bold move - especially when you are not able to back this up with some convincing evidence.

I could understand a thread entitled "Don't like the BJ results" etc., but "cheats" is a pretty damn strong word.

But what I really don't understand is that you are promoting this casino on your site - this doesn't make any sense whatsoever. I don't care if you have a percent of the revenue, a CPA deal, CPM whatever. You promote it - you condone it. Simple as that.

Making malicious comments about them yet condoning them is a bit whacked out in my opinion.

a little math

hi,

I made an excel file that calculates the probablities of any outcome in BJ assuming you play at least 30 hands.
I tried to attach it but I think that excel sheets can not be attached.

anyway, the standard deviation of the outcome of that plater (assuming that the 7 wins were straight wins and not black jack) is 2.4
in plain english it is 0.82%.

now, these kind of things can happen, especially if we bear in mind that all players who win do not come to complain at this forum so out of a big amount of players' sessions it is more than likely that someone will get a bad strike.

so take it easy and good luck next time.

If only all webmasters/affiliates would get this message loud and clear, online gaming would be a whole lot saner and safer.

You promote it, you condone it. Quote of the day.

ok here i am back.i did played for hrs on this site. but wat i were getting is totally unbelieveable.as a whole i lost $900.but this streak killed me for $600 .it could be my bad luck.but unfortunately i have never a winning streak like this in my whole history.near some people it might be normal.but winning is always very difficult but loosing is so easy.below is the link with that streak

nikest,

As side issue it maybe an idea before venturing into blackjack and dropping these sums of cash, you go learn some basic bj strategies.

This is not a personal dig at you either.

I looked over them and the only one I saw that might have been questionable was #345 - A29(12) vs 2 - hit, not stand. The 2 is just about a wild card for the dealer and will make their point more times than not; and you can improve that 12 more times than not also, unless you're faced with a 4-6.

I think bet management killed you faster than anything.

Other than that, it looked fine. I'm assuming the card to the far left was the one showing for the dealer, correct?

drop it

nikest,

first you said you lost 24 times but looking at the link you provided I see only 22 losses.

second, you did not tell us one of your winnings was on a double bet meaning -more money to you.

taking into account these two new facts I get a standard diviation of 1.94 which means 2.62% assuming you played perfect strategy.

now, you clearly do not have a case here.

Exactly then players would only have to deal with one evil instead of two.

You interpreted my post wrongly.
I'm no bj expert, but, your up in arms regarding what I'd call a very small sample; one that even should not be considered as a sample at all.

Hence the reasoning that fuelled my suggestion.

From this, I then wonder how much "online bj" you've actually played. With that I start to question if your promoting casinos, especially 888 (played more so for it's table games), I then ask myself how can someone promote a product that they seem to know very little about.

I don't play blackjack that often, but even I know that a mere double low figure sample doesn't prove jack, unless the dealer was pulling 21 on every hand or something really bizarre was taking place.

Although online casinos use RNG’s these are never going to be like playing in r/l at a land based casino.

I don’t know by what means casino developers use to develop their RNG’s. Though I suspect they use quasi logic to generate their base signature. However, the closest your going to get to achieving real life random outcomes is by using a RNG based sig developed through the sampling of a random sound wave.

Anyone have any input on what method is used to develop casino RNG’s?

Having read through this thread, my conclusion is this thread didn't have to be made. First, it's ridiculous that nikest pees on the trough he feeds from. Second, it is gambling because there is no guarantee of winning. Sometimes you hit a ridiculous cold streak, sometimes you hit a tremendous hot streak, especially in the game of blackjack. That being said, you just had bad luck. Had I been you, when I lost my third hand in a row, I would've just walked away and taken a break, instead of sit there and endure punishment.

I just played ~1000 hands of BJ at casino on net while fulfilling a wagering requirment for their "happy hour" promotion. This is large enough to get a decent feel for non-random distribution. While there were some suspicious results, there was nothing too rare to be random. More details results are below:

Expected Return (includes bonuses): +$100.4
Actual Return (includes bonuses): +$88
One SD: 68% chance of being +$10 to +$190
SD range is a crude estimate since my betting size varied from $1 to $4, rather than using a consistent size.

-- Unusual Events --
--Roughly 3/4 of the first 15 dealer aces were a BJ. It was enough for me to buy insurance. This pattern ended in the later 2/3 of the hands. It may just be a coincidence or it may relate to me buying insurance.

--There were several series of 2 or 3 dealer BJs in a row. There is a thread in the bonus complaint section where a player mentions 5 dealer BJs in a row.

--My gain dropped from +$190 to +$88 during the final 20% of the wagering requirement. Until that point, there had not been such a rapid gain or loss.

i used to have random results from CON, and used to be my favourite casino. but these days i doubt about there bj game.i emailed there customer support and informed about my loss of $2000 in just 2 days. they added a bonus of $40 in my account. i plyed $5 per hand, and i hardly wagered $100 and my whole bonus of $40 was blown away. just wondering, if any1 has played rexcently blackjack there and wat was the output there?
