Played a bit yesterday at 3Dice, the zombies are out and they have all the Halloween decorations up. They've done a bit more than usual it looks like, the KISS fish are hilarious.

Thank you for starting the thread. I was gonna and got to busy. I have to say 3Dice once again proved why it is ranked as one of the best casinos. They went well above and beyond this year. I love the fact that they always go the extra step.. Well done guys.

It's probable the Halloween party will be Oct 30th I was told. I know it's been a hoot in the past, and I know the reps have a new thing or two planned.
It would be nice if the new game came out before I leave for Cuba. I will be sorry to miss the 3Dice party though.

Wow! That win is beautiful! Yes, the Halloween decor is really neat! I have never seen anything like it at an on-line casino. This is my first year with 3Dice, looking forward to the excitement!

Instead of releasing a new game why don't they upgrade their servers first. I have been speaking with my wallet. I haven't made any deposits in a while because I am sick of constantly getting booted out of every single tournament due to server connect errors. This has been going on for over a month now and progressively gotten worse the past week or two. You can't even leave the game for 15-20 minutes without coming back and seeing an error. Its beginning to not be fun anymore and I am ready to delete the casino and be done with 3dice.

I agree about the connection problems. At least they don't happen so much in real play. Maybe they are not as concerned since they are happening in free tourneys. I know if that kind of constant connection breaks happened in real play, I would be long gone. It is very frustrating, but, I think most players, in chat anyway, are afraid to say anything. I did once and was told by another member "better than NO connection". Almost like they think the is no other on-line casino. Got me.
Be careful where you speak to your inanimate objects. If someone sees you doing that you could be sent to the funny farm. I dont understand how your wallet and free tournaments are connected unless you think its going to happen in real. FYI as weesie said below real works fine.
I dont know many casinos that do the type of free tournamants they do.
Both of you have mentioned your frustration and have illustrated that in some way by saying you wont play there anymore. I am sure that there are plenty of people that would love to see that happen so their chances of winning a tourney increase, fewer people = better odds.

WOW Trying to enjoy my morning cup of coffee and this is the crap I'm reading! This thread was started as a TY to 3 Dice. If you have a complaint about the FREE tournaments and connection problems start a new thread. However before you do that let's take a look at what your complaining about. FREE tournaments are having connection problems because there trying to add a new game. How your wallet is being affected I don't know. Unless your trying to win a tournament so you can play in real. Once again someone does something nice for us, decorations, free tournaments and soon a blow out Halloween party and yet it's still not good enough.
Let's put this in perspective- if you showed up at my house for a Free all you can eat and drink party, and I ran out of your favorite chicken wings would you have enough nerve to approach me and bitch that I was out of your wings... If you did I tell you get the hell out and go buy them somewhere else.. Take the hint I just gave ya.

Nothing is really free choc and we as paying players do in some way or another pay for those "free" tourneys. It's a marketing ploy, enjoyable if you are in to them but again, they aren't free. Has nothing at all to do with free wings at your house, that is a totally different thing.
And........we do have a right to voice a complaint about the connection issues but a new thread would have been more appropriate.

I understand more then you know what you are saying but name another casino that does what 3 Dice does for us? I lose the same amount at other casinos and what do they do for me there? Shit basically!! At 3 Dice I have fun, I chat, and I have a chance to win when I don't want to play in real.. Entertainment Value is everything, Jedi mind trick or not I still enjoy playing there, I don't enjoy the bitchin!

I play the tourneys also and enjoy them and yes it's a cool thing that they do and yes I'm appreciative.............but again, it's a brilliant marketing ploy and they are not free, unless one never deposits.

Yes the tournaments are free. However, since the loyalty rewards are pretty cheap I figure they factor in the ability to play in the free vip tourneys part of your comps. Yes real the connection is perfect. Funny how that works, but the tournament server connection is garbage for the past several weeks. Maybe you weren't there last Sunday for the screenshot hunt when it came to a complete halt and became so frustrating many left.
Yeah Im sorry I ranted in the halloween thread but someone before me mentioned the connection issues. Somehow you are accepting that the constant lousy connection errors are acceptable simply because the vip tourneys are free. Again, to me they arent free because I paid for that right to play in those with the many deposits I've made. I certainly can't be the only one completely fed up with the connection issues.
Well, if you charged me 50 dollars to come to your all you can EAT and drink party and ran out of food I would would be rooting around in the back of your fridge since you did say ALL I can eat. You can keep the booze though.
Connection problems are nothing new to 3Dice. This problem has surfaced more times than I can count over the years. I've seen these servers down for days at a time. I'm not even going to bother with the "free tournaments are free" debate since that's been going on for years and unless you're part of the group that really only makes deposits at this casino for the right to play the tournaments you won't care if the servers stay up. So it's all a matter of perspective.
As for the Halloween skin, I can certainly appreciate the amount of work that went into it but I would rather have seen that work go into the server problem. As long as the game is paying I don't really care what it looks like. lol
By the way, have you noticed how you can't turn down the volume or mute the zombie sounds? I was trying to play while I watched a movie on my computer and even with the casino muted the zombies were louder than the movie.
And not to detract from the Halloween theme but is it just me or does this software take the focus and become the active task on your computer sporadically regardless of what else is running? Even if I'm not running a game in the casino and I have a full screen program running it will minimize and the casino becomes the active task. It's weird.
P.s. Youtube some smooth jazz while you have your coffee and then come here after.

Do you believe they want to have those disconnections?
Do you really think they have done nothing to fix the issue?
Do they like or want bad publicity? Do they want to read these kind of things?
Just think about it, because I believe they want you to enjoy your time and playing there, wether it's in a freeroll or not, or you might start complaining and won't come back.
I have made a lot of deposits there, but never played a freeroll. I might do that now

I love that this year they didn't only decorate the lobby and change Squirrel Pike back to the Zombies, but went in and made little changes to most of the games.

Oh no I am so sorry please dont be mad. You said if there were a problem in real you would leave (along with lots others). I was reading too much into the line you wrote above. I kind of took as you looking for another casino.
I do not disagree thats its frustrating, Its just the tone of the complaint comes off very whiny , as someone said previously it would have been more appropriate to start a different thread, and when starting that other thread start it as an inquiry rather than an attack and give 3dice an opportunity to come on and comment on the situation.

I really have no idea what's been done to fix the issue but I'm pretty sure there's a way to stop server disconnections. Add more servers, put each game on it's own server, put chat on it's own server, reboot the servers more often, maybe even twice a day. If real play servers have no problems there's no real reason for the tournament servers to have constant problems. It's the same software, the same games and the same people playing them. The only real difference would be the amount of people using the servers and if that's the issue then the solution should be pretty obvious.
This was a pretty lightweight conversation about the new 3Dice skin and a slight derail about the server issues. I guess it was only a matter of time before someone showed up using words like "whiny" and "attack." I do think it's less of an attempt to use psychology to alter the tone of the conversation as it is a lack of understanding of they're own psychology. This is exactly what happens in the 3Dice chat room where it is at least more understandable even though I totally disagree with it. The 3Dice chat room is supplied by 3Dice as an add on to the casino software. I can understand the casino not wanting people complaining about the casino in chat but the chat room is supposed to be moderated by the 3Dice reps and not the players. This however, is not 3Dice chat. This is a public forum where people are free to express whatever views they like.
I'm sure if the moderators of this forum feel this thread should be divided or has been unfairly derailed, suggestions will be made or actions will be taken.
By the way, the Kiss skin on Coral Clams made it kind of hard for me to see what I was hitting. Maybe I just need to get used to it. I think every symbol being the same two colours wasn't helping.

I'm sure those questions had all been asked several years ago when it first started and I'm not sure what accusations you're talking about. But then I only read every second sentence so I could have missed them.

It can be hard on the eyes, for sure. I prefer the Zombies instead of squirrels though because when you're playing in auto the zombies are gone in two shots instead of waiting for the game to auto-click every squirrel. Personally I would prefer the squirrel game to have an auto click option for the bonus feature even if you're not playing in auto when you hit it.
Or even better a squirrel nuke feature that blows up the squirrels, the field and the mountain all in one shot.

Back on topic, how do you like the eyeballs floating in the jukebox? Or what about the zombie snail that has "help me" written on its shell? lol....sorry but I just find that kind of stuff really fun, like looking for easter eggs hidden in software.

Back to topic here too. I played a few spins tonight so I could see what they had done, and I must say that I liked it.

I don't agree with that either, I get the same level of CS at 3dice whether I'm Gold, Silver or Bronze (and I've been all three over the years ).
).Well, there's a little more to it than that but there is an obvious favoritism toward high rollers. I suppose that's probably common at most casinos but it's more obvious at a casino where you can interact with other players. I've seen things said in that chat room that I thought would surely result in at least a temporary ban and had people tell me things they've said that even they thought would get them banned yet it not much was really said about it. I guess it's a combination of how much you spend and who your friends are. As for comps, I haven't had 20 minutes of low rolling playtime from any of my last 4 or 5 deposits. But I'm told by another player that tournament wins count as comps even though it takes about 15 or 20 hours of playing with play money to win one. My 50 bucks a month doesn't get me bronze status so the monthly bonuses aren't worth much either. I'm pretty sure from what I've seen in chat, if I was a high roller I never would have been banned in the first place. I still talk to some of the players anyway. 3Dice chat isn't the only chat program.
I only deposit enough to play the tournaments so I have something to keep me busy when I get bored. I win my fair share of tournaments although out of the last 50 or so tournament wins I've managed to get my balance about 2 bucks more than I started with once, I think. Not that it matters really, since the Visa withdrawal method is on hold for an undetermined amount of time which leaves no real good way to make a withdrawal anyway.
And the zombies are getting tiresome. I have to turn the volume down on my speakers to almost nothing and the volume on everything else almost full so the zombie sounds don't drown everything else out. Hopefully next year the volume of the zombies will be controlled with the rest of the casino's volume. I think a week before Halloween would have been long enough.

I think the new skin looks great. I played in the Silver tourny, didn't do squat as usual, but I will not be going back until after Halloween, I can't take my Mother n Law popping up alot and spitting popcorn at me.

FYI.......the connection issues have been fixed.
They've been fixed before but lets keep our fingers crossed. I still think they should be rebooted more often. Half the people logged into that server probably aren't even playing. At least if you reboot the server it kicks out everyone who's in chat but hasn't been at their desk in 7 hours. lol

I'm guilty of that, not being present. It doesn't help that when you click the exit button from chat it minimizes to your taskbar instead of either exiting you or at least asking if you mean to leave.
That's pretty common. I have a few programs that don't close when I click the X. Yahoo messenger and Jdownloader come to mind off the top of my head.

Sure is nice to have the disconnection problems fixed finally. It was going on for weeks and was getting on my last nerve.
I like the Halloween decorations on some of the games but I always have the casino sounds turned OFF as I listening to music or have TV on in the background and it so annoying you can not turn off the Zombie that pops up ever few minutes and growls. That is getting old really fast. It was funny the first few times now its a pain in the ass and you cant turn it off.
