I'm low rolling Industria with a few bucks left out of my deposit when I finally get 20 free spins. It wins a whopping 0$. 20 zeros in a row.

So I'm discussing this with a rep and he says it's not uncommon. He also says it's a fluke. I'm not entirely sure how a fluke can be common but my question is how common is hitting zero at 3Dice every single free spin and getting absolutely nothing from your bonus?

Does this happen often enough to other players to be considered a common fluke?

Its the

old varience factor hitting in, the next time you got them you could hit huge, industria is not one I often play as I have never had much luck on it, but Ive seen some huge screenies from low bets. Heaps of luck for next time

Well it sucks for sure but does happen. I was playing at an MG over the weekend and hit 0.00 on 20 free spins on break the bank. Then on nxt free spins hit a whooping 4 usd or somthing. Then next set hit around 800 or 900 dollars. So it does happen not nice but thats the gamble.

if you don;t mind me asking how much was you wagering a line on this

Its always frustrating, when you play for ages to hit a bonus, and when you finally get there the pay is lower then the initial bet.

Especially when you are low on $, and think the bonus round or free spins are going to bring you up again.

These are few and far between at all casino. That is why we continue to be the one with the"screenie". One out of THOUSANDS will get a hit worthwhile to post. This makes others think they will get it too which unfortunately isn't true since it will take thousands of more losers to create a winner. (Hope I made sense here)

...variance...

There's the key word. I bet 99% of slot players don't know or understand the variance of the slot they are playing and the implications to their bankroll. You also have to remember that the trade off between the "free spins" type of bonus vs. the "pick 'em" style is that the former has a more random spread. You can hit nothing, you can hit 500x or even more - I've had 3500x before now. The latter is usually more stable...5x to 50x or whatever. That's a great example of variance at work ;)

The average free spin bonus used to be 50x-100x on any given bonus round. Only in the last 2-3 years has this been adjusted to reflect 0x-20x on MOST bonus rounds. I know, I have been playing since the first online casino opened and remember when the norm was at least $100 bonus round on a $1-$2 bet.

Now the norm is $0-$10 if your lucky.

No disrespect meant at all to you or any others that continue down this path of trying to justify what casinos are doing to the games by continuing to beat the "Variance" drum, but I for one am very tired of hearing about this "variance".

It has no more to do with slots than a mountain in a molehill. One can try to twist it anyway they want and name it anything they feel like but it is pure and simple greed anymore on the casinos part.

If variance played such a role in the payback, or ones bankroll, then why has it diminished to almost nil when only a few years ago you got decent play and or wins whenever one played unlike now, when you get no play and no return except a few "lucky ones" out of THOUSANDS??? That is not variance, that is called greed and manipulating of slots to benefit the casino to the point of almost stealing anymore, PERIOD.

No offence taken :) But bottom line is a slot has an expected return, normally around 94-95% and as a generalisation most casinos don't/can't deviate from this by much. But with random jackpots, big multipliers etc, variance is the single most important factor IMO.

:eek2: On what slot????

ISIS. 5 Scatters during the free spins :D

But as far as 3Dice is concerned we may never know this fact for sure if Enzo keeps delaying the fact that Bryan brought them on with the understanding that a third party would be performing independent audits of their games for fairness and expected return play and I believe that based on what Bryan said HERE that Enzo must have assured Bryan that this would be happening shortly...BUT that was about two (2) years ago.

So it certainly can and does make one really wonder what possible legitimate reason there would or could be for delaying this independent testing for this length of time. And now due to Enzo's delay in furnishing this info and testing to Bryan it has gotten his casino removed from the "Accredited List". Why in the world would any casino manager just let this happen?? It does not make good sense IMO.

Don't take my post the wrong way though as I personally like and enjoy the unique games that 3Dice does offer but I would also very much like to see a third party auditing firm confirm that ALL of the games offered there are fair to the player and do in fact conform to industry standards as far as RTP is concerned.

Wow didnt know they have been removed from the Accredited list" quite sad to see them loose the ranking their  Shame they could not or have not gone the route to get independant audits on payouts. Makes you wonder. I personally had a blast when I played their a few months back but in the end stopped as i didnt win for weeks so had to close my account. Thats not a casino bash as I have to put it down to personal extended bad luck over quite a long period with many deposits. But still ... ah well plenty more places left to loose our hard earn $$$ or ;)
