32Red new LOTR game keeps disappearing!

Ever since the new LOTR has come out it's been disappearing on me every day. I contacted support the first time it happened
and i was told to uninstall the casino then reinstall it and it should fix the problem.
Well it did fix the problem for the hour or two i was playing.

However for the last 2 days anytime i've gone back online it has disappeared again, i've done the whole uninstall - reinstall thing
but it still isn't showing up in the game list.

Has anyone else had this problem over the last few days? If so how did you fix it?

Seems to happen with ALL MicroGaming casinos. You'll notice when it does that; the 'jackpot thermometer' will also be at 0.0 for every game.
Just close the casino and re-open (may need to do this more than once) and it should return to normal

ya none of the thermometers are showing any type of numbers beside them. I'll try your suggestion a few time and see what happens!

When you uninstall, you manually have to delete the directory it was installed in, or it'll keep some information there, and you may have the same problem after reinstall.
So it's not enough to just run the uninstall thingy in windows, if you want a completely clean install.

I spoke to someone form live chat earlier again and they told me that it may not be showing up for me
because alot of people have been having problems with the game and that it hasn't been fully released to everyone yet.

How its possible that some have it and some don't i'll never understand but okay .. if they say so.

it was like that with the old version of LOTR as well, if you dont see the TEMP behind the games you dont have LOTR and need to restart casino,i have had to restart the casino up to 8 times before the LOTR showed up along with the temp for each game why its set up this way is wicked

This is really odd. Why only THIS game suffering this problem. It seems to suggest it is somehow very different than the rest, and possibly not hosted on the same server as the others. The same problem is often seen with the MPV tournaments, with them appearing and disappearing, often cutting a player off in mid session. This is down to them being on a different server than the casino, so that the MPV server can lose the connection, but the connection to the main casino server remains, thus everything else except MPV works fine.

The new LOTR is simply another clone on the "Mega Moolah" network. The only difference being that this is a network progressive, rather than a casino specific one. This means that another server has to get involved somewhere, but any problems should be affecting ALL network progressives, not just one of them.

The only explanation that seems to fit is a corrupt file being delivered to the client, and the problem causing the "Mupdate" process to continually attempt to fix the problem, leading to the game cycling in and out of the lobby. Somehow, this corruption also affects the game temperature, which is a casino specific value EXCEPT for the network progressives.

I have seen this problem before with other games, and mostly at 32Red.

Things are all good now, not worried if 32red has it or not because i just noticed that bet365 still has the original!! So thats where

Yes I have been having this problem for about 2 hours now. Finally gave up and will try again later or tomorrow.


edit: I finally decided to see if live chat would connect from the website... spoke to a super-friendly rep who had this to say...

Its not just 32red, ladbrokes is having problems logging me in, then when i do i cant string 2 spins together then iam papped back out the casino.Guess it an mg server problem.

I havent seen LOTR all night at ladbrokes and have logged in and out multiple times. Now am not saying this a bad thing it not being there,but something strange seems to be happening as all the other progressives show up. This seems to be a recurring MG problem for there new flagship....flagshit slot.

this is just to annoying i just had to shut down Golden Lounge 10 times now before LOTR showed up, only casino that dont seems to have this prob are Alljackpots casino, dont like there new setup though
