A lucky online casino player won over GBP150,000 at attheracescasino.com.

Peter, from Middlesex, Englands South-East, struck gold when a GBP5 side bet on Caribbean Stud Poker displayed a Royal Flush and won him a staggering GBP125,000, reported Online Casino News. Peters main bet of GBP150 won him an additional GBP30,150 to take his total haul with a single bet to GBP155,150.

And, he was so surprised with his win that he immediately placed a GBP1,000 bet just to make sure it was true. To confirm his good fortune he even won that too. Peter said: I normally play Blackjack but it wasnt going as well as normal for me so I switched to Caribbean Stud. How lucky was that?

At The Races, which is best known for its live horse racing channel, declared that it was the largest ever recorded win on its Casino.

I think it's about $1,7 mln - Major Million jackpot in Microgaming casino.

Besides jackpot I think it's $1,2 mln made by Pirate of Caribbean :).

YuraK is right. $1.7 million to a Major Millions player. But that was a public win. There have been higher winnings made and paid out, but these haven't been publicised by request of the player. These weren't Major Millions winnings BTW.

The Pirate's win doesn't count because he wasn't paid...in full at least...

Hmmm...

Big winnings lure, but whenever I hear about them I recall Jack Whittaker's misfortune... Money made from nothing seems kind of tricky to me... :( perhaps am too pessimistic :D

Really? I wasn't aware of that. :eek2: I just have learnt something today. :D On which kind of games those wins happened (table or slots?). I am curious on this one. ;)

You weren't aware of it because it wasn't publicized. :D I believe it was mostly roulette. Both the player and the casino have requested anonymity, so that's about as much as you'll get out of me...

Major Millions progressive slots has produced I believe three or four million dollar plus winners, all paid in one single cash tranche.

As far as I am aware other progressives from other suppliers have also paid out very large amounts to very lucky players, but none have exceeded the million dollar in a single payment benchmark....yet!

But then 2005 stretches ahead of us with endless possibilities!

Here are some more encouraging proofs, Slotster

I love stories like this... Gives me faith that I'll hit the big one sometime!

Cheers for posting!

Just to cheer up your faith.. :)

InterCasino.com winners racked up their Christmas bonuses this week scoring big on the sites many games and progressive jackpots. Five lucky players, wagering only $3,440 in total, took home a cumulative impressive $337,273 on four of InterCasinos most popular games.

Players Klazzus and Sweepea won $14,869 and $50,658 respectively playing Let it Ride Poker. Placing the bonus bet gives Let it Ride players a chance to scoop an additional $30,000 bonus when they hit a Royal Flush; although even without playing the bonus bet, the Royal Flush pays a princely 1000 to 1!

Next up was player Kimmc, who hit the jackpot on the Triple Olives Progressive Slot and took $18,023 back home to Australia. Once Kimmc converts her cash back into Australian dollars, shell be sitting on $23,891 enough to ensure that her family will have a very merry Christmas.

Danskin will also be toasting a glass of champagne to InterCasino this holiday season, after nailing $22,708 playing the 9-line slot machine Cool Bananas. A player since 2003, it looks like Danskin has cracked Cool Bananas winning formula.

But the player to envy the most during this spectacular winning week is unquestionably LLCoolV, Not just for his cool username, but for the $231,015 Rags to Riches MEGA-Jackpot that he won after only wagering $33. Thats a 7000 times return on investment, and enough to buy everyone on his Christmas list a new car, and still have plenty of change for the champagne on New Years Eve!

LLCoolV has been a player at InterCasino.com for just under one year, and has taken to Rags to Riches like a fish to water. But then again, why wouldnt he? Rags to Riches progressive MEGA-Jackpots start at $100,000 and frequently pay out well over $200,000, as LLCoolV can happily confirm!

VC CASINO CONQUEROR HITS JACKPOT

A VC Casino punter is in seventh heaven after winning a colossal 273,000 playing online roulette.

The Buckinghamshire-based high roller's win is believed to be one of the biggest online roulette wins in UK casino history.

"This gentleman has shown some incredible nerve to continue riding his luck," said VC Casino's Tom Cooper.

"Many people would have called it a day after winning several thousand but this high roller has kept on going past the quarter of a million pound mark."

The mystery punter's money-winning 14 hour session lasted from midnight on Friday, October 29, until 2pm the following afternoon.

"When you're on a winning run you just don't want to stop," added Cooper.

The casino conqueror's winning roulette strategy was to stake 100 per number with the four surrounding splits at 100 a time - giving a total staking plan of 500.

"That equates to 100 at 35/1 and 400 at 17/1," explained Cooper.

Other VC Casino successes over the past fortnight include: a 29,250 winner on blackjack, an 8,746 winner on five reel slots and a 5,500 winner on video poker.
