Something where there is like 6 months advance so people can save and make plans? I think it would be fun to meet everyone on here

I remember in the land before time, when we had BBS boards. You had to connect individualy to each board.

We used to rent out rooms at a resort , and we would throw some crazy parties , and meet each other Wow I think I had a PET computer back then

Actually, we tried something similar about three years ago, but kind of informal. Did get to see a few people, including Cipher for about 30 seconds LOL...

Personally, I would love to meet up with a lot of the board members, we could shoot the breeze a heck of a lot faster There is a minor problem with Vegas, though... we'd be spending 90% of our time at the machines or tables! That's been proven time and time again as even us lowly moderators skip parties and conferences to go play "Monopoly" or "Multi-strike Poker" or even (yuck!) "Gems"...

Let's see what Casinomeister thinks about this. I have to head that direction at least a couple times a year anyhow...

The problem is that I'm not scheduled to be in Vegas until sometime next year - probably in November for the G2E.

If you don't want to wait that long - there is London in January, and then Montreal in June '07.

We could even invite some of the banned members so we could have a barroom brawl :axeman2:

But we are all gamblers, seems like a natural choice. But I do agree with a previous post that said we would all gather for a drink and then say "see ya gotta hit the slots, VP" etc. I would not be as excited if it were not FOR the gambling opportunity. Remember for those of us in the US we will soon be starved for a chance to play.

The Sands and the Wynn are already open. The Venetian is scheduled for sometime next year.
