Wonky Wabbits Slot (NetEnt)

Although I agree that most of the recent NetEnt releases have been on the appalling side of shockingly bad, I find I'm quite enjoying Wonky Wabbits. I suspect this may be because I'm going through a phase of playing the simplest slots I can find, having overdosed on multiple bonus features and crazy paylines with Avalaon II.

However, I do seem to have been paid out in shiny buttons when I hit this win (screenshot below):

I still think Netent slots can be alright low-rolling on a bonus with a sane WR, but that really is the only way to play their newer stuff IMO.

Andy's said he'll give me a decent bonus match at Mr Green should I want one so that'll make a session for the channel.

I thing NetEnt is moving forward, their previous slots were not such enjoyable, but started with Starburst they make progress:lolup:.

I love to play slots for free, where can I find this game? It´s not on my favourite web, where I can play free slots, in CZ xhttp://www.automaty-ruleta-zdarma.com. Anyway how old is wonky wabbits?
This slot is brand new - only released a few days ago.
Currently it is only at Betsafe and maybe one or 2 other casinos.
It will be in all NetEnt based casinos by next week.

Please note that some NetEnt casinos do not give welcome bonuses to players from the Czech Republic :(

Now I must admit the NetBent idea factory is great - unlike MG they don't keep regurgitating the same old 243-way formula but introduce different mechanics to their games. Multiple bonus round types like South Park. Great graphics like TFTUT. Climbing multipliers like the new planets one which goes to 32x. Tied reels like Twit Spin and sticky wilds on others.

Aesthetically and for the fun factor, they have the best online slots bar none. I find slots like Twin Spin and Reel Rush friggin' fun to play and I have a hard time to get out of there when I start playing them. They managed to keep it simple with the graphics (fruits, 7's and diamonds, who needs anything else?), good audio and entertaining basic features. Yet, they are 10x more entertaining than a game like Avalon II.

It's a damn shame that you constantly have to remind yourself that you can't win while playing them.

Press release:

Wonky Wabbits set free by Net Entertainment

Players are all set to get their teeth into the latest video slot from Net Entertainment, the world’s leading provider of high-quality online casino games.

Wonky WabbitsTM is a cheeky 5-reel, 15-line video slot set against the backdrop of a humble vegetable garden.

Authentic sounds and quirky music make players feel as if they are pottering around their own plot. Planted amongst the luscious green grass are tomatoes, corn and aubergines that the naughty rabbit eagerly awaits to munch.

He then burrows under the reels to appear under a symbol where the best possible win will occur and as he munches away the symbol turns into a Wild.

A duo of stacked Wilds on rows 2 and 4 offer the chance of massive wins with a maximum of 14 Wilds available after Wild Duplication kicks in.

“Wonky WabbitsTM combines cheekiness, rich graphics and huge win anticipation to create a truly brilliant innovative video slot,” comments Simon Hammon, Chief Product Officer at Net Entertainment.

“The hungry rabbits are itching to get at the symbols and we’re sure players will be just as desperate to join in the excitement on the reels.

After a few thousand spins in free play mode I can say that WW is one of the simplest slots ever from net ent. It all boils down to the number of wilds landing on the screen. One Wild (plus the one you get) doesn't cut it yet, two(+ the two) is a big win, maybe even mega big win, and Three and more is a super mega win instantly (has to be, because now you have 6 wilds, which will make up the highest paying five of a kind(s)).

The problem here is that all this has to be paid for with dozens and dozens of dead and very low paying spins. It can take many many hundreds of spins to get 3 wilds landing on the screen at the same time and while you're waiting, your balance is dropping at an alarming rate. I can only imagine how hard it is to hit 5 or more wilds at the same time.

Just blew through $50 in free play at minimum bet. It was scary fast.

The thing that bugs me the most is the extra wilds aren't random at all, they always go the best spot available. When I see blatant non-randomness on slots it makes me scratch my head and this is the worst offender I've seen, by far!

Some features are clearly weighted (like the Wild Wine in IR) but to cherry pick spots like that? It means that the slot knows where the best spot is before applying the win. This is the only slot that I'm aware of that does this!

Unless DoA knows where to land sticky wilds to make a line too? What the hell?!

I really dislike the way "randomness" is applied to NetEnt slots!

It says in the rules that the extra wilds guarantee the highest win. This doesn't take away from the randomness of the initial spin it just means that the logic in the game knows how many wilds it has to use and places them for the best result.

I don't see anything to demonstrate non randomness here.

Not what I expect from random slots. Random = a wild pops somewhere randomly (with the help of the RNG) and then there's a check to see if the new wild made a win. That's randomness.

The game should be only there to express what the RNG decided (ie: way too dumb to pick the best spots available on the screen).

Also, if the initial spin works with random reels but the "logic" kicks in and change the wins how do you even calculate the TRTP? One part of it isn't even random.

Don't you see that there's something wrong here?

Press spin, send server confirmation of bet, server sends back financial outcome - screen does a variety of pretty things to make up that outcome.

Rinse and repeat ad infinitum.

There's nothing wrong here. I'm surprised that you have such a weak understanding of how slot games work despite being an active member here for such a long time.

Also, if the initial spin works with random reels but the "logic" kicks in and change the wins how do you even calculate the TRTP?

The software provider doesn't need to be able to calculate the RTP from simple geometry of the reels or, for example, any other kind geometry in bonus games to check the RTP. You can't really calculate Mega Fortune bonus game RTP from the geometry of the wheel of fortune, but NetEnt can run the Mega Fortune wheel of fortune bonus game billion times on their computers to check that the actual mathematical process it gives correct RTP and if it does not, then they adjust the algorithms until RTP is correct, there is no need for any simple reel or other geometry to set the correct RTP.

The logic for choosing best position for wild is pretty simple combinations and permutations crunch. The most stressful scenario, where you have 4 wilds, meaning that there are 11 free spots from which to choose to put the twins of those 4 wilds, according to the mathematical rules of combinations and permutations, the server has to calculate through 330 scenarios. For 5 wilds the server has to crunch through 252 scenarios and choose the best, and for 3 wilds that is 220 scenarios, for 2 wilds it is 78 scenarios, for 1 wild it is 14 scenarios, for 6 wilds there are 84 different combinations, and for 7 wilds only 8 different combinations. So once this permutation crunch is put in place, NetEnt just runs billions of test spins to check the RTP.

The TRTP would be the value of all possible reel stops divided by the total cost of all those spins. The fact that wilds always go to optimal positions makes it slightly easier to calculate even, since each spin with one or more wilds will have a set value, not up to 14 different ones depending on where the wild goes. Up to 330 even, thanks Finn!

Got 25 free spins on Guts and I won exactly on 1 spin. :D
It was with 2 wilds and it paid me €10.00 on the broccoli thingies.
So mostly dead spins but at least one decent spin.

Gonna try the slot end of this week and give it a bit of a spin.

Haha exact same. 1 win in the 25 spins, £3

Don't like this slot at all! Its like a bad different skin remake of Spin Win. So many dead spins its a joke. yeah its got potential... bullshit all slot has potential but end of day they all take our money

Balance of around €120 at vera john gone like pfffft. Also bought 15 spins at vera john won 5 cent on those......

I have tried in in Mr. Green. Lost though. But it's cool. I will put now more money and try my second chance. I would like some bonus, or some free spins on this game. Any suggestions where can be found?

Mr Green tend to have less frequent/free spin bonuses and incentives than the rest - but they do come up with some decent promotions when they do.

PM Andy_B the Mr Green reo - see if he can fix you up.

Forgot to mention, "Beach" on NetEnt does it as well with that smug octopus staggering into the place and flapping his tentacles round like he owns the joint.

Dickhead.
Classic:lolup:
The last time I played Beach there was a couple of times I was almost overwhelmed with desire to make Calamari of that smug Octopus. That would teach him. Thanks Slotster for giving me a good chuckle and an apt description to boot.
