I opened an account with dragonara roughly a week ago I sent my documents like they requested I then received an email confirming my account had been verified I made numerous deposits and eventually won 245 pound I requested a withdrawal to receive an email next day about an account I had apparently opened 2 years ago before I got married in my maiden name I knew nothing about this account and doubt I even used it so it's not like I've claimed a bonus twice the 245 I won was off my own money I never received a bonus and no bonus was involved I understand the whole not allowed multiple accounts my issue is that this other account should of been picked up when I either registered the new account or when I sent my documents in but instead they verified my account misled me into thinking I could win when they had no intention of paying any winnings out the fault is on there end if I knew about this other account I wouldn't of registered another I would of just contacted them about my name change.i don't have an issue with depositing money and losing its a risk you take but when I now know I had been depositing money without any chance of winning it's wrong the casino let me deposit 105 and if I hadn't won they would of let me deposit more.i want my 245 I won or my 105 I deposited they shouldn't be allowed to do what they have done they should do all the checks straight away

Winstar pulled this trick on me recently when I was going through the checking systems. Had to deposit £10 and gamble to confirm. Won 900, 7 days later withdrew and winnings denied. Got my £10 back...I'm pushing them on it for no other reason than they would have given me nothing if I lost and that the checks should have been done at verification stage. Raise a case with the ADR and see how you get on, it will at least cost them a couple of quid to look into it.

I feel for you, But I personally ALWAYS email/phone or live chat and give them all my details just to be 100% I didn't open an account 5 years ago and forgot, Saved me from alot of hassle otherwise

They should refund your deposits at least.
What part of their terms and conditions are they claiming to use to keep deposits and winnings?
I would do a chargeback with this tbh if they dont want to budge. (awaits the hate posts)
That I apparently had an account open 2 years ago in my maiden name but I never deposited or used this account so they are classing it as multiple accounts

I have gone through every possible channel that I could possibly go through with this bull. I am just surprised that these establishments can operate like this. I am not impressed and feel I don't care to frequent these sites anymore. I am still working on trying to get my winnings and will pursue the issue any I can.

I agree I don't know how they get away with it

I sent them all my documents they needed.all my details were the same as this account from 2 years ago apart from my last name so this other account should of flagged up straight away

Have you gone through the courts?

Ultimately all this bs really needs to be tested in a court of law. For some odd reason gamblers (and that includes me) never follow through and the casinos know it.

Every contract has to have an element of fairness so given the circumstances (duplicate account even though the other account wasn't used and no bonus taken) I'd say the action is unfair.

But yeah....it's a hassle I know.

I agree I'm pushing to get my money this other account from 2 years ago should of flagged up straight away when they verified my account yet everything was fine till I won.i understand not being allowed more than one account I'm not disputing that but to verify the account allowing me to deposit and making me think I could win is wrong and I don't know how they think it's acceptable

Why an earth they wanted to get rid of player who is making multiple deposits, not using bonuses and probably there is nothing to flag any risk elements on your account as you were allowed to do multiple deposits before this verification on withdrawal.

Emailing you about found old account and asked you to only use this one from now on and congratulations for your winning, would have maybe given you a positive feeling for them and added them to your "good guys" list of casinos where to deposit after an experience that they are fair in their decisions. That's very good retention tool and make player to come back, converting much better than any bonus offer that.

Don't want to believe that any decent ADR service would agree to this decision but would suggest to return of your deposits at minimum.

They just continue to play games with me and tell me they need this document and that document. I have sent some documents twice or three times over the last 2 months. I don't want to play their game anymore and just want to be paid out. GRRRRRR

My account had already been verified before I made deposits and before I even made a withdrawal

They are even refusing to give me my deposits back. This casino knew exactly what it was doing any other accounts would of flagged up straight away on verification maybe this is how they operate by verifying people's accounts allowing them to deposit knowing full well they aren't going pay out they are nothing but thieves

So much shady going on in this online casino world. Crazy. A industry build up on greed.
Good luck, OP. Hope you get your money.

Plus what they charge you for a pint is unbelievable, at Portomaso and Casino Malta its always for free - at least for me. But after 6 years they still demand me to pay. Employees are changing fast as well..... oh wait, we are talking about dragonara online? :)

I am still working on this casino and they are playing with me telling me it needs verification! How many verifications do they need? They are probably laughing at me for trying everyday. I will not stop until I get my payout! This is not fair!

I guess we have to continue to pursue and hopefully the results in the end will be beneficial for all of us. I'm glad they have these forums. I am new to all of this and I see the corruption from these establishments. I learned to go into these online casinos with a question of what do you need for verification when I win a large sum? That way you know you'll be treated fair. And try to remember to take pictures of every thing. I am still trying!
