Withdrawal methods for Canadians?

I have been reading the boards for 2 years now which have kept me out of trouble, but now I have my first post with a question. What withdrawal methods are Canadians using now that work? I have seen many threads that show a method working one day and then being troublesome the next. Thought I had it narrowed down to cheques or wires until I read Happy's WU experience and now that door seems to be shutting as well. Is there anything left for Canucks that will work without raising red flags or are we taking our chances on a daily basis?

Move to the UK?! Gees... with so many other people everywhere having problems, I reckon we must be dead lucky living in the UK not to really be affected by it all.....

Maybe try another online wallet? Click2Pay? I'm not sure though.

When I withdraw (which is rarely) I have been using Click2Pay so far...

Haven't had any trouble yet...
I've been depositing into C2P with Capitol One Mastercard and no probs there either.

I still have no issues with bank wire transfers, and Click2Pay works fine, cheques are still good even though they take a while to clear.

For deposits I use a prepaid Mastercard from Moneymart. So far it works everywhere, fingers crossed.

For withdrawals, I use Moneybookers at RTG and Microgaming. You can then either withdraw from Moneybookers via bank wire or I request a cheque, and I usually have it within 8-9 business days.

I also use Payspark for Micro withdrawals. I've used them for years, and think they're great. They have an ATM card, so as soon as the money hits my account...I go and withdraw it. The only bummer is that 95% of my play is at 32Red/Dash, and they don't use Payspark. So for them, I use Moneybookers to withdraw.

Ecocard is also available for Canadians. I have an account, but have never used it....too complicated for me. And the only way to get your money from Ecocard is via bank wire (I think). I don't think they offer a cheque withdrawal.

There are also some new payment options on the horizon, but there's no set time as to when they will be implemented.

Hey there, What about instadebit? I know they have a new thing where you can receive payments from a merchant into your instdebit account, but, I'm not so sure if you can then take that deposit and withdraw into your personal account/or receive funds from them. Worth checking out, I'm a little busy right now but can check for you in a bit.:)

I've checked instadebit and yes you can withdraw to your bank account, they said it takes 5 days so I dont know if this is an option you would be interested in anyhow, there are probably alot quicker ways. But thought I'd let you know just in case this can help.
:)

Many Thanks!!

Thanks to everyone for your help:thumbsup: I will try Moneybookers as I thought that was for the UK only and will also try Instadebit and see what happens. I like the idea of directly to bank account as I had with Neteller so we'll see what works.:)

putting money from your bank into moneybookers to start out is going to cost you a wire fee i think. and you have to initiate the transfer out of your own bank and send the funds to commerzbank in germany using the info given on moneybookers' site. i think it's a huge hassle, but i would definitely get this going since wire transfer and credit cards are unpredictable in casinos and mb is accepted in probably 75% of casinos. i always since i have had no funds in ewallet, still don't since everywhere i win lately needs me to deposit via mb before they pay out to it, so usually i deposit with visa and withdraw back to visa if it works, otherwise sort out a cheque/wire, but wire is a little touchy so i would go with cheque.

i heard of a new one, usemybank, serving currently only the uk and canada (viva la commonwealth), that can make purchases to casinos by directly debiting your bank account, like click2pay or paypal does when there is no balance in the e-wallet it goes and draws from your bank or credit card. however i haven't successfully used it yet, but i think inetbet or somewhere was offering an extra 15% or so for using it, or possibly even a promotion like 50% match bonus specifically for usemybank depositors. once 32red pays out my cashouts i've sent to mb, though, i should hopefully have enough to stay afloat, using visa only where mb is not accepted.

a lot of the reason i don't cashout my considerably large wins lately is influenced by, the slow withdrawal times i've had lately (betroyal and tila some of the more recent), the factors with withdrawing to various means (ie it's going to be difficult to arrange getting the payout), and also i still have reservations about cashing in on a big win, the only time i ever won a substantial amount it all got confiscated so now i'm shy to ask a casino to pay me anything in four figures for fear they'll take offence and boot me. of course that's nonsense, but now i'm paranoid that any big winner is abusive or wrong in some way and casinos will lead you round the garden path to put off paying wins.

hopefully all my cashouts from 32red will rekindle my trust in casinos and give me the confidence (and funds) to keep playing and once i can use moneybookers the issues of long/difficult payout will be alleviated as well. anyways, good luck and look at usemybank, it's exclusive and new and i thought it sounded very promisiing. i just couldn't figure out how to use it...

Instadebit

Well just signed up for Instadebit available to Canadians only (no US). Same info required as Neteller - pretty painless - bank account to be verified. Unless I missed something it appears to be a No Fees to consumer, only a small fee to Merchant so I guess casinos are willing to pay that for our business. So far, so good. Will wait for account verification before using it and update this thread then. Thanks again :D
