I read something in a thread earlier, think it was the "thank you 32Red" thread in which the OP had his/her W/D sent to his/her bank account in less than 12 hours.

Which made me think,is that actually possible? I mean I use paypal to deposit at casinos and as some will know here its possible to withdraw from paypal to your bank account instantly.

So why do people say it takes three days for a wire? For example Ladbrokes?

I think it depends on what bank the casino is using, and witch bank you are using. If it's the same I suppose it's faster.
That means from Paypal or other ewallets it's always going to take longer since they are not a bank.

I'm not sure but that's how the banks works in Sweden at least.

Thats the weird thing though,I can now withdraw any amount from paypal as a verified member and its instantly paid into my bank account (uk paypal member)

Edit: plus throughout my whole life, whether it be my wages, jobseekers allowance, any other authority its always at least 3 days-possibly 2 at a stretch.

So you would think you would come across someone that uses a bank that does it instantly by now before a casino surely?

Now I'm jelous. If I could have that I would use paypal, but they locked me out. I was stupid enough to take part in a contest in another forum (for gamblers), and happened to win. That was against paypal rules about gambling so they closed everyones account. A free contest:eek2:
But it's okey for them to transfer in and out from casinos.

Well, I'm sure we have some bankexperts here that can tell us why it takes so long.

If its any consolation I only found out about it myself by chance.

I'm told before the change there was a £5 charge and even then it wasn't guaranteed to be in your bank account the next day.

Seems strange Paypal would do away with a big moneymaker like that-£5 a time is a huge amount collectively for people like us gamblers.

They did have an issue with the instant processing thing when I first used it-especially at weekends but recently its been perfect-won £350 5 weeks ago or maybe a little longer at 32red-soon as I received it in my PP account withdrew it to my BA,no issues.

I still find it weird how they can fill that £5 earner though as it must be a HUGE loss for them.
