Not a big win, just continuing my royal theme ;)

They gave me a $5.00 comp.. had emptied my account into neteller the day before... so i went to the nickels VP, the machine was hot, got up to $18.00 .. was gonna move up to quarters. Then boom.. royal.. moved up to dollars and they took it right back :) I think that makes 7 this month.

@Casinomeister:

Perhaps you can mention this thread in the next newsletter so that we get more screenshots. You did that in a former one and many people came to post their in win in the Thread.

It might not be as rich or good as fortyoz's or the meister's, but it sure felt good since I decided to try my hand at 3-line VP for the first time.

It's .25 cents (a card, I guess), so it's $1.25 a hand times 3 = $3.75.

Not a whole lot, but I didn't want to bust out early since I was a 3-line virgin. ;)

Yeah JPM, $25, pulled the first one back, btw here are a couple shots from today.. and to tunisianswife, all these shots are from my play the last month and 2 weeks.

Got two royals tonight in 50 hand, not very exciting tho because your bankroll fluctuates hugely playing this.

Tried 100 hand $1 .. max bet.. couple times.. no luck =\ .. would be nice to even get a pat straight there lol.

Here's the first.

I'm playing crumbs compared to the guys here, but I'm enjoying myself nonetheless. After this win I upped my bet to lose it all in under half an hour... hehehe.. Damn those wins :D

Hey, impressive 2500% winmargin on that one bet :)... hehehe... I wish I could afford to play big like you guys, but I can't. I like playing in the casino but other important stuff comes first. If I still have some money to spare and want some enjoyment, I start up the casino :)

ANYWAYS.. there wasn't a minimum winnings required for this thread right :p

A.

congrats

Although you may be a "for crumbs" player like myself, Alex...I enjoy looking at these screenshots no matter how much or little is wagered. It's a win and that's worth a look, and that is what matters. Thanks for the screenshot...(wager would look something similiar to mine) haha

Just killin' some time before going to bed last night. Made a $100 deposit at Sun Vegas and began to play at Deuces Wild Power Poker. Got a little board and decided to play sudden death- all or nothing $20 a hand (it was time to go to bed). And look what happened :D

At first I thought it was a Deuces Royal Flush until I saw the payout...

This makes RF number 4 - Thanks Sun Vegas!!!

Alex, remember that the only way to save your ass with casinos (land based and online) is when you're able to quit winner (and sometines also to quit loser, in order to limit your losses)

Thanks for the advice, but I only play the casino's to enjoy myself. Ofcourse I'm enjoying myself more when I'm winning, but it's not my main reason to go the casino. I don't cash out until I've won like 3-4 times my deposit, it's all just play money for me. Like I said a bit before, I don't gamble big (the screenshot says it all :)), so a profit of 25$ isn't really a profit (to me). In this case I probably would have continued playing till I had something like 200$ in there and then I would've withdrawn 150$ en leave the 50$ for a next time to play with. All in all I think I have made a little profit in all my session (had 1 good session at Mapau where I won 1250$ on a 1.25$ bet with Ocean Princess, see my very first post on this board :)). Had a couple of small wins (from 200 - 500), but most of the time I just lose the deposit of 50$-75$. At least I've had fun for a couple of hours (sometimes less, sometimes more).

Good point Alex. Everybody has different aims when gambling. In any case after a big win (compared to the bet) it's always advisable to take a break or switch to another casino...But I'm the first one not too follow this advice once in a while... :D

AlexN, you should play 5 coins per line whatever denomination because you'll get paid much more if you hit the royal flush (800 vs 500).

Just for something a bit different. See if you can spot all the winning lines in this one. Unfortunately i'd just dropped back to a 90 pence on auto-play while i went for a drink (from 1.80) as i'd just had a 750 coin payout about 50 spins previously so thought it was time to tread careful! But still can't complain :-)

The 1500-coin middle line payout, 4 9's doubled with a Thor, 4 10's doubled also, 2 9's, 3 x Jacks doubled...think thats it!

nice, heck even a pat 4oak on the first line is pretty good, image getting that on 100 hand.. got a couple pat full houses on the 50 hand the other day ( 50 x 40 = 2000) half a royal each ;) My favorite is still 4 hand though, which RTG does not have, seems with the 10-100 hands, the fillins for the rest of the hands are quite similar, so unless you hit something really nice.. you lose.. and lose... you can hit a few flushes and not even break even for the hand.

Fortyoz,

Have you realized that if you held that ace you would've had 2000 instead of 1488 coins paid. Also the problem with 100 hands even though you had 5 straight flashes you bet 400, so you won something like 3.5 units of your bet.
If you decided to go for straight flush (which is wrong move in 100 hands VP, having pat flush) why don't you hold 2,3,4,A instead of 2,3,4,6. With an ace you have additional chances to make Jacks or Better. If you constantly make such mistakes it can cost you dearly in a long run.

lucky people

my first ever post on here. how do you guys do it? i have played over 1 million hands of video poker and only ever had 1 r-flush, and that was only a 62-50 win. very well done! :( undefinedundefined

If you played over 1million hands of VP and have only had 1 royal flush, then that is beyond possible. You should expect a royal flush approx every 40k hands if your play jorb. That means you have gone over 24cycles without one. Im sure someone here can show you that that is beyond possible if you are playing a fair game.

Don't forget 1 RF in every 40K hands is if you know how to play and hold the right cards, no?

yes guys
you are right, but these hands wernt played at just 1 casino! i have played well over 150 casinos, what i am saying is over the hole of the casinos i have played at, playing v-poker, i have only ever hit 1 royal flush. and yes, i do know what i am doing. i have had numerous straight flushes x4.

Play at 1 casino or 100,000 casinos doesnt make any difference. If you have only hit 1 royal flush and you have played 1million hands then that is beyond possible. That means you have gone over 24 cycles without a royal flush. Basically that could not happen. You would be soo many standard deviations from the norm. And I believe 4 or 5 SD from the norml is considered impossible

Nice hit Simmo. I got to try that slot machine :)

Hi wobble33,

And welcome to the forum. Don't feel bad, I didn't get my very first RF until October of last year. Since then, I have had three more. :D

Hey Simmo! Good hit. I've never received 5 scatters on Thunderstruck. But I have on "It's a Hoot" - last week on a $9 spin = $450. It's a nice feeling :D

Lol - i tell you CM, i tried your "master plan" on edging up the stakes at $225 etc (i play in though so its relative) and lost about 400. So this was on the way down unfortunatley. But who's complaining. First time i've hit it ever too. The free spins added only about 40 :-)

The question is - was beer involved? This is essential for the "meister" system to work.

Ah - i was using a caffeine substitute. But at least the Rams liked it :) Actually, thinking about it, thats a 4,500 coin payout (500 x total stake). Nice.
