Oh my, this was just a few spins into my session. Got the 10 free spins and a lot of Caesars for additional free spins, including a Caesar with a bunch of Cleopatras for about $160. Darn, I was gonna play $5 a spin but wimped out. Tons of WR left, but I should manage to cash out something on my $35 deposit if I play it safe and switch to VP.
 
I hit my first royal flush in over two years last night, but unfortunately it happened after I had moved from 10 hands of .25 per coin to 25 hands of .10 per coin. Luckily I finished up at the end of the wagering requirement, after losing my initial $1000 and about $500 more. And I was also lucy that I decided to finish my wagering requirement in one session, because they doubled the amount you needed to play today, and I would have been stuck with the new terms.

I ought to add it took me 2.5k to get it though - lol. I wanted to see how Virgin handled cashouts above 3k, as that is the cutoff for when they are obliged to ask for ID. Passport or Driving Licence, and Bank Statement it seems. Pretty straightforward....in theory :thumbsup:

Warning! Silver Surfer has one of the most frustrating features ever. This is the only slot I know of where the feature if often over before it begins. If Galactus (purple guy) shows up on reel 3, your feature gets cancelled even if you have the silver surfer on reels 2 & 4. And quite often you only get one free spin as it's all over once the purple guy shows.

This is still my favorite feature though as it seems to offer big upside. (I could be wrong) And while I'm not "that way", the surfer does have a nice rack.

Indeed frustating. One of the first time I got the feature I managed to get 22 free spins, since that I dont think have been over 8. But still a fun and unique feature.

Not a fan of slots where you have to get the scatters on set reels - PLUS you don't know how many you'll get. Tried it. Found it frustrating. Gave up. Prefer "Thor" where the scatters for the free spins are 3 anywhere on 5 reels and you're guaranteed 10 spins.
 
Simmo: no, not linked to Vegas. I love Atlantic City and Ballys A/C is my fave. I guess you could say I am linked to them if you consider how much money I have given them over the last 24 years! I'm pretty sure I financed the construction of the Wild West Casino there!:eek2:
 
Dropped $75 was playing .90cents a spin, dropped to $55 and thought wtf...

I HATE that game - it's cost me a packet!
I've done over 300 spins & only got the 2 surfers twice;
The first time old purple chops was in the middle = no spins.
The second time he turned up on my first free spin!
Total garbage! :barf:

Makes you wonder why they would include something that would cancel out most, if not all, of your free spins (other than to increase the HA)....takes all the fun out of it; and if it's not fun, most won't play it anymore. So in the long run they're on the losing end.

Not that I've played silver surfer, not that I'm likely to know after reading this, thanks for heads up :thumbsup:

It does remind me of some slots way, way ,way back (that's a long time ago), where they had these stupid symbols that weren't worth jack. I mean it was hard enough to get a decent win, but, you'd get like three stars and it paid zip, nothing, ziltch.

Definately a way for the house to increase its odds. In so far as Silver Surfer it's odd that a casino would even consider running a slot like that these days.

You can call them to get on it... pronto. Or, you can log-in the invitation number a second time. Why is that? I did that a 2nd time, and for whatever reason (maybe just lucky timing), the credit was in my account in a matter of minutes. Just try again, it can't hurt.


Just in case some of those who received this can't locate where to type-in their invitation number, go to the homepage once you're in your casino account (don't bother going directly to the webpage... it's either not there or I can't see it). Very nice screenshot! Wish mine were that big... I just came in to post a couple... A Hulk win (minor) and then a Hero Jackpot win (lots of people asking about if these jackpots hit - I hit them regular it seems).

The Hero Jackpot was for a little over $130 (not the $129 I captured, from what the log read).

I was down to my last $40 and hit the hero or $109, then kept on playing, just hit the hobo bags on Rags to Riches for $450 and a full house on let it ride.:)
