My Mum alerted me to this story, but this trip is being handled by the hotel in Berlin, who are doing the lot, Tickets, transfers, etc.

I have been busy putting together what I need at this end.

1x Footie mad guest and one "fast track" passport. (I'm getting it tomorrow from the London office. I am taking no chances with the normal Post Office premium service.).

Of the $20,000 quoted, $12,000 of that is just the match tickets.
If I had not already invited a guest, one of those miffed schoolboys may have had a very welcome shock!!!!! (Although the Casino Action terms say I must take the prize [no cash alternative possible], I can take one other guest of my choosing, and I selected my soccer mad friend.

Ok, I am not a bonus user and I don't get why anyone would use bonuses either...I tried it once it it was an AWFUL experience needless to say and never received my winnings due to my own misfortune (not fully understanding) ...thats done and past so this is what I am not understanding...

Why does anyone bother with bonuses when it costs much more in requirements than the bonus itself? As in the other thread, the player took a bonus, hit 2 progressives and couldn't withdraw all the winnings...I really don't get the point in using a bonus except to screw yourself out of any winnings it seems.

What is wrong with this picture is what I am asking those that use bonuses? Doesn't make sense to me unless you enjoy the so called "chase" of trying to meet requirements? and the abuse one gets from using the bonuses?

silc, there is nothing wrong with this picture. The fact is that your odds of having a winning session are better using a bonus in most instances even when considering wager requirements in the equation.

Dont get me wrong. If the bonus is really bad then i dont play them. Also, if the casino is shady i wont play with a bonus no matter how good it is.

But the long and short of it is bonuses (good ones from a reputable casino) increase your chances of coming out ahead.

I should add that this is much more important to low rollers than bigger players since a $100 match bonus is peanuts to the bigger player but is doubling your money for a low roller.

That's an easy question for me Silc. Playing with a bonus makes no difference to me because I never play to win, I play for fun. IF I win while I'm playing, that's just an extra. When I make a deposit, I never ever say, I have to win, or I'm going to win. Matter of fact, I tell myself that I'm probably going to lose and all I ask for is a decent amount of play time for my money. Gambling is strictly entertainment for me, it's not a way to make money...or hope to make money. The day I stop enjoying it is the day I quit for good. Bonuses for me are just extra added play time, nothing more.
