I think my 1st experience was pretty terrible too. The base game is rather harsh. I guess a lot of the RTP is tied up in the bonus.
The 2nd time I played I bonused it but it only paid a few £.

I did well on their Sword of Khans over the weekend too hitting a multi-retrigger bonus which paid around 800x so this prompted me to go back to this to have another stab at it.

I've started playing their games on minimum stake (10p) when I don't have much too much to play with and/or I've played my usual haunts in the hope I hit a bigX win.

Holy crap this thing is hard to bonus, and it loves to lose down to 4 spins on the first gamble, but you sort of 'have' to gamble as optimum RTP is achieved by gambling to 20 or 30 spins.

This is at Rizk who are running the 98.06% non-jackpot maths model variant, which IMO is the one to play.

This was a three scatters trigger (8 spins), lost the gamble down to 4 but got a retrigger (+5).

The main win was a few ways of 3OAK sevens (the top paying symbol), round finished at 231x stake which isn't amazing but IIRC is my best hit on this game to date.

Agree that dropping a bonus is as rare as rocking horse sh*t..........also agree that playing the max rtp version with no jackpots is the way forward.

If i get the 20, i take it, otherwise i do one more gamble.
Have had 2 hits over 1000x on the 4 spin bonus, without retriggers

If i have a decent balance or land the bonus early, i shoot for the top.

A few days before making this deposit, I had won c. £6.50 from some promotional FS on Starburst and Book of Horus. So my starting balance was c. £31.50.

I started and finished on DOA at 36p a spin *

On just the 9th spin, I trigger the feature. But then something caught my eye....Win: £7.20

I was sure I only saw 3 scatters?

And then the penny dropped. I had forgotten to change the bet level and coin value.
