I see quite a few of my favorite RTG casinos are offering this "wonderful" 50% deposit bonus.

I am not condemning those who take it but can you give a good reason?

Lets say I deposit $100 and get the 50%bonus So now I have a whopping $150 to start In order to collect I have to make a $3000 or 44500 WR depending where one plays,

Wouldn,t it be better to just deposit and take a chance that you can get it up to $150 and then do your thing to get the big kill? In doing so you have the option of quitting at anytime and hit the withdraw button

Enlighten me please

One reason is someone only has a spare $100 to spend and they want some decent play time, so they go for the 50% bonus, nine times out of ten they will always usually play about $3000-$4k worth of playing anyway so they figure why not.

I do see what your saying though it does sound a little silly on one side of the coin but on the other they see a lot more play time.

I agree 100%..the 50% bonuses and lower are worthless IMO. I've had it happen more than once where I've had a good balance after 50-60 spins but am forced to continue because of the WR, where if I had not claimed a bonus I could have cashed out and started over!

As long as the bonus is cashable, same_old's views are valid.

At most of the RTG's these bonuses are non-cashable, and they still carry the standard 20-30x D+B WR, and thats what makes them so completely worthless.
I like to play with a bonus, but never with such a bonus.
One nice hit on your first slot and you'll have the same balance...with no WR at all..

I agree bonuses of less than 100% represent poor value. If the deposit exceeds the bonus then the WR should be weighted. If WR is D+Bx30 on a 100% match then WR for a 100 deposit would be 6000 and on a 50% bonus WR would be 4500 and on a 25% bonus 3750.

The bonus WR is a fixed value which is not in Equilibrium with the deposit. An extreme example of this for a 1% bonus would be a WR of 3030. Where the 1 credit needs to be wagered 30 times as does the 100 deposit. A value 100 times greater, yet still subjected to the same WR. (Obviously this is just a hypothetical example to highlight the poor value in taking on below 100% bonuses tied to a deposit).

A fairer formula for bonuses of 50% would be BX30 + D/2x30 or for a 25% bonus BX30 + D/4x30
So the original example of D+Bx30 on a 50% bonus on a 100 deposit would be a WR of 4500
Using the formula BX30 + D/2x30 = 3000

Well, I must be doing something wrong!!! Tell me how I can "usually" wage $1500 on 100 dollarars. If it was usual OR NORMAL to play 3000-4000 WR on even 200 dollars I think I would break the casino LOL
