From Betsson (in English):
Norwegian won 7.3 million euros on Betsson.com
On Tuesday a man in his 40s from Sunnmøre in Norway won the jackpot on the online game Hall of Gods at Betsson.com.
This marks the third largest ever online gaming win in Norway but it doesn’t stop there; a day earlier the lucky Norwegian won over €135,000 with the same gaming company, making him a very strong candidate for the title “Norway’s luckiest man”.
I am in total shock. At first I thought it was a joke so I started to analyze the sum. As time went by I got even more unsure, but then I suddenly realized; it was true, says the big winner to the company’s Norwegian blog teambetsson.wordpress.com
Be our next millionaire!
It’s been just over a year since Betsson last paid out the highest Norwegian gambling win ever; €92.4 million to a man in his 20s from Hordaland, a record which is also featured in the Guinness Book of Records as the biggest ever Jackpot payout in the history of online Casinos.
Just before the Norwegian collected the €7.3 million prize on Tuesday morning, he had already won big money on another Betsson online game; on Monday night he won the jackpot on the game Super Lucky Frog collecting €62,000 – followed by a series of winnings on Hall of Gods – which made him a millionaire even before he won the Jackpot on the same game. According to Betsson, the odds for something like this to happen would be like being struck by lightning twice on the same spot!
- This must be one of the luckiest men I’ve heard of, and I think it’s incredibly fun to hand out yet another win to one of our Norwegian customers, says the Country Manager for Betsson Norway, Paul Myklebust. He then smiles and adds; Who knows what will happen next: the Mega Fortune Jackpot is currently approaching 50 million, so we are hoping that there will be a Norwegian hat-trick coming up soon.
The man from Sunnmøre in Norway wants to remain anonymous, and has been offered financial counseling and follow-up by Betsson’s company experts. As a “quiet Norwegian” he is a relaxed man and has no plans for a major shopping spree at the moment.
- I’ll pay off some debt, then I will see what happens afterwards. I have not had any time to really think about how I want to spend the money yet, says the happy, but mellow, Norwegian.
