So I have always played cards but I just never got into poker, don't know why really... But I'm wanting to get myself into the realm of playing it when I don't feel like playing slots.

Is double double bonus poker a good one to start with?

Also how is online poker in terms of being lucrative? I do know that blackjack felt rough when I played it... Seemed like they got BJ every hand or every other hand.

Anyways would love a poker player to school me for some online poker. Thanks in advance

If video poker I would start with Jacks or better/tens or better before playing the higher variance double double bonus and even before trying deuces wild. Each one has a different strategy you are best using. But Jacks or better is the least confusing.

For poker against other players Hold em is the simplest to learn probably followed by draw which is basically what format every video poker is in just some crazier hand variations allowed on the virtual ones is all. :)
