I’ve been playing online and live poker for years, and each version feels like a different universe. Online is fast, technical, and all about patterns, while live games add psychology, body language, and atmosphere into the mix. I’m curious how others see it. Which format do you think brings out the real skill in poker? Share your take, I want to hear from players of all styles and levels.

I agree that both online and live poker have different aspects that require an ability for needing to have different discaplines/aspects to your gameplay.
My preference online used to be for Omaha Hi/lo and I began to take it pretty seriously towards the end. I often ended up playing against the same players online as we would often seek each other out and there was often quite a que to join our table. We would enjoy banter in the online chat box provide. I enjoyed the chat aspect almost as much as I would play the clown which attracted a crowd. But behind that I was a keen note keeper and took down my observations on many players. The bluffers, the careful players, the chancers etc so that I usually thought that I had a handle on who I was up against.
And back in the day I got into some serious trouble joining card schools in real life that I should have avoided with some quite dodgy people, but I was a risk taker :P

Then I found online slots :(
