Need your input: Which classic slots do you wish the casinos would bring back?

I need some input here!
I too miss LOTR. Girls with guns was not as good visually, but I did play it.
Hours and hours spent on TDK, such a great slot. Loved Terminator 2 as well. Cashanova.

I really enjoyed the Wheel of Wealth multiplayer slot.

I miss Treasure Island, The GeeGees and the other pub slots.

Great Blue and Penguin Vacation from Playtech, and the 3x3 8 line Chinese Kitchen.

I miss Dragonborn from BTG.

Piggy Riches Megaways from Red Tiger. I do like What The Fox, but harder to get a good hit. Also miss Gonzo's megaways.

I don't think that Dragonborn has been decomissioned yet?

Some of those slots are still around.

It is a shame that most of the themed slots that have gone did not get re-made with just a generic theme that would not require a licence for. Like for example we get so many clones nowadays where slot providers just clone a slot and do a new theme and skin on them.

The issue came when MG stopped making slots themselves and just let other smaller slot companies use their platform.

The switch from flash to HTML 5 I think was the final nail in MG's coffin if I am being honest and it is such a shame really. But I also think that can also be said with WMS as well.

It is always the best providers that seem to be the ones who stop producing slots or re-releasing old slots with a new non copyright theme.

Like Game Of Thrones. There was a clone of that the Elves one forgot the full name. But weirdly they removed that the same time they removed Game Of Thrones? Not sure if part of the license agreement for these themed slots is the actual slot mechanics etc?

I mean I just presumed that it was just the sounds and images that was licensed and not the actual slot mechanics itself. But maybe that is why they removed the clones as well like the Elves one because the mechanics of it was also linked to that license?

But Terminator 2 is still available for now but I do see that is next to go. So play it while you can. (for me hot mode is much harder to trigger on that since it was switched to html 5)

Forgot about both Girls with Guns, great games.

Has Great Blue gone, haven't played it since being unable to reduce the amount of lines. Several games not gone but ruined by the inability to configure to user's own playing style, including removing extra bet from all Yggdrasil games, makes bonusing some almost impossible.

There were two if I am not mistaken. Jungle Heat and the other was set in The Arctic (Frozen Dawn??)
Yeah, Jungle Heat was the better of the 2, Frozen Dawn, had 2 different bonuses which seemed lower volatility. Both could do massive base game hits when the 3 High Wilds Dropped properly. Oooh, the simplicity of the 243 mechanics I do miss. Game of Thrones (as some have mentioned) was a good once for the crazy base game hits as well.

@vinylweatherman used to streak those 'pub slots' on high stakes, I remember his 30-50k balances on Viper casinos. You could tell these were properly compensated in demo mode, when you could deliberately lose on max stakes wherever possible, then drop to 10p and see the mice fall in and the game go mental.

Some JP-version of original Gladiator is still available to Finns through the state-owned gambling company. I don't know how this is possible if the game disappeared elsewhere, but maybe they have some kind of deal with Playtech.

Netent removed almost all of their best games years ago and filled the catalog with boring games,
I think they should have produced more html5 versions of the old classics.

Many players like me have been missing this masterpiece

Gladiator was amazing :)

I'm just at the start of my mourning what seems like the demise of Guns 'n' Roses. It disappeared from UK casinos just last week. I'm not even a GnR fan but I'm gutted as it was such a good slot. I'm hoping it might return soon but is it the case that once they're gone they're gone?

It's gone for good, just like Axl Rose's waistline.

I recall Vinylweatherman taking these AWPs for a ride quite often. Sometimes up to 50k a time.
Yes, sadly we seem to not have his images in the CM archive that I can see. I remember the pirate one, Hiphopapotamus, Track and Field Mouse and an Irish-themed one.

My favourite were the Playtech Marvel range, particularly Iron Man 2. It was a nightmare to bonus but you felt it would pay something decent when you got the bonus. I'm not sure if its around still but Playboy was another good one.

Another chance for me to reminisce and mourn the removal of the WMS Life of Luxury series. I had a fair few diamond progressives over my time with them. Couple that with playing them on Jackpot Party and the extra chance of triggering the site wide Jackpot progressives....
I just loved the 1 scatter trigger on the last reel. Last seen alive on a cruise ship in the Med.

I never had the opportunity to play the Life of Luxury online, but played it many times in B&M's - Loved it - Simple and enjoyable.

Last played that in Vegas a couple of years ago. Managed to bag a couple of progressives in the free spins for something like $420 off $2.40 max bet (another revelation for slots in vegas these days). Great memories. Does make you wonder why they removed it online/didn’t bother to update as it’s not like it has any license issues.

Almost all of the games you guys mentioned used to be on my favorites list..the old MG 9- and 15-liners were awesome, iirc you could still alter line and coin play for some fun rtp experiments etc. And even though they were basically clones, had a lot of fun switching around between them :)

Also track and field mouse, LOTR , Tomb Raider(s) and many more...

Netent: totally loved Evolution, Frankenstein (and didnt even know about the bug😋), that game with the wilds and the magnet that pulled them?! Blank on the name atm...And the not so classic ones that i really loved and only seen around for a short period, were the two Berryburst Slots: epic games i.m.o..

And i really miss Blueprint's Lightning Strike! Could be they just forgot to add it on the Dutch market but i love that game!

Many more, branded and not and special shoutout to that Rubik's Cube game posted above 😁 Iirc that was first featured on Unibet for me back in the day. Such a fun and simple game! Hacksaw made 2 slots 'mildly inspired' that are much more HV, but also quite fun: Colors

Anyone remember one of the, if not first slots from Push Gaming, Bonus Bears? That was quite a little gem, also found it on Unibet. They simply had the most skurril games back then, but fun fact that most of those skurril providers then, are now well established! Like Push, Quickspin, and NoLimit.

Old html versions on the WMS (and others) deffo ran smoother and silkier, really miss the likes of Ruby Slippers, Fire Queen, and more. Weirdly some of the classics are still available here (like Bruce Lee), but they play a bit wonky.. I'd love to have those back, smooth versions of course.. 😋

I really miss two games specifically: Aztec Twist, which was one of Hacksaw's first releases, and Lightning Strike, a game Blueprint launched as one of their first Megaways line..

For w/e reason none of the Dutch licensed Casinos have them on offer, even though they aren't discontinued as far as i know...

But games really scratched my itch, mechanically as well as thematically
