What's for tea? (Dinner) if your from elsewhere than the uk

I made sushi with black bean sauce - hate meat so eat fish all the time :)
A fine banquet. I have more of the fresh frozen makeral in my freezer for another day.
Tomorrow I'm thinking chicken and chorizo kebabs on a bed of rice, and a nice bread (undecided as to what kind yet) and maybe a lemon and garlic drizzle to stop it being dry.
To drink, tomorrow I think I'll have some good old Dr Pepper :-)

I just ate only carbs yesterday. Dinner was 2 slices of lemon sponge, two slices of buttered toast and a banana.

. However, a short while ago I made up for the non nutrition yesterday by having two lightly seasoned fried eggs(no oil) with grated cheese melted on and pickle accompanying it, two pancakes a coffee and a mcvities gold bar

Boy you really do have a sweet tooth :D

Peas and Sring Beans ( Runner Beans ;))

I love this thread!

I have always loved to add Balsamic Vinegar to the water and boil Peas and String beans.

I need to lose a lot of weight (again!) so, I love a simple grilled chicken breast carved, with Romaine Lettuce, Ugly Tomatoes, Onion (any kind) , Beetroot (in Vinegar) a little Blue Cheese and then I make a Balsamic and Dijon mustard dressing.

But when I am in a really couldn't-give-a-rat's-a@@, then it's Prime Rib steak with roasted Potatoes and the above Peas.

Blue cheese is delicious, this Evening I'm having scallops and pancetta, and a bowl of homemade chips and a BBQ sauce dip to accompany them. Have a friend in Canada who sends me bbq sauces regualarly so have some lovely ones we don't get here in the uk.

Southern fried chicken burger, a mayo and onion free coleslaw, homemade chips and a garlic and mint dip this evening folks.
Sadly the bun for the burger is poor quality, couldn't find a decent ciabatta or brioche, so just plain it is. It will however be toasted.
The beverage of choice tonight is undecided.

Budget tea. Photo shows what I had.

Can't leave us hanging like that. What drink did you decide on? :D

It's best of both hovis so it's slightly healthier than just white and beans and egg also good. Didn't use oil for my egg.

I went to the shops with the dog. I looked at all the healthy flavoured waters, I browsed the finest of dilute juices. Then I woke up and got 10 cold fosters for £8. I eat later of a evening usually, so I'll indulge in a few beers and attempt to post the picture of my tea.
Now Dave has explained how to do it I'll be posting picture evidence of said meals in future.
Ive got loads on my old iPhone, I'm a bit of a 'food pornographer' if the truth be told :-)

Thanks mate.
I'll have a go later tonight, and black pudding with that tea you had would be a fantastic addition.

Where the red dot is. Click that then click add from computer (phones nowadays are essentially mini computers) then click camera or add docs to add an existing photo.
I'm using a mobile mate. I only get that screen when I'm on the laptop or desktop pc.
Sorry for the hassle lol

Not for tea, but I will be having KFC for lunch today.
I'm beginning to suspect that there's something addictive they have put in their chicken.
Maybe it's something simple like too much salt, I'm not sure.

About time KFC appeared on here.
May I ask what you got?..
I usually get a boneless box and a zinger tower, with corn and beans and BBQ sauce.
For the drink, usually a 7up. I find that a much underrated drink.

May I ask what you got?..

Nice to see another loyal servant of the colonel. :D

I haven't got it yet. But I will probably get:
Hot Rods Boxed Meal
Plus, here in Australia atm KFC have a promo for a free small chips and drink, which I will claim.

In case you don't know (being in the UK) Hot Rods look like this:

They look fantastic mate!..
I love the KFC fries to, I've many a time had to taxi to the nearest KFC for a banquet after a night out.
Absolutely great food.
Kudos to the colonel!..

Brilliant I can do it!.. thanks a lot Dave!..
that was my kebab skewers from another evening.
From now on I'll be posting in picture form my 'tea' :-)
Thanks for the help again

So far it looks like just bagels and cream cheese and an orange gatorade....but if someone comes home and cooks me something it might be something else :eek2:

Playford that kabobs and rice look really good I love those kinds of meals. I would eat the kabobs and mix plum sauce and the rice and have a lovely supper

Chicken 'parmo chips and salad.
That's only 1/4 of the actual size of the parmo, the rest I'll eat later and in the morning.
It's a Middlesbrough delicacy. Deep fried chicken breast in breadcrumbs, topped with bechamel sauce and cheese then put in a oven to melt. Over 3500 calories a portion.
Fine dining at its best :-)

Fry up!

Just a simple fry up without bread as I'm trying to eat less carbohydrates...With a baked onion and raw tomato. I used fry light oil and cooked almost all of this in the oven. Except the egg. It wasn't enough though so I made a plate of chips (oven cooked) seasoned with garlic granules and pepper and ketchup for dipping...And now I feel like I'm going to explode :D

That looks like a heart attack on a plate :D

I can cook just fine...I'm just wary of undercooking meat...The egg was perfect but I bunged it in the oven to keep it warm and it went like that.

It's only really chicken you need to worry about, I've had some dubious looking pork when I worked in Italy before, I'm still here to tell the tale.
I must again say that post was of the class I expect on this thread.

The sausages were pork as was the square sausage...Could provide pretty gruesome gyrations on the pan if underdone :D. After I put the oven off the food continued to cook because of the heat was only prepping my condiments for seconds. Quite annoying...

Served with chips and onion rings.
To drink cold Dr Pepper.
I'm going to order some cane sugar dr p tbh as what we get in the uk is poor

When I lived in south Hilton as a Colin may be aware of, I used to get a kebab, it was the beast of all kebabs, plenty of garlic and chilli.
The establishment used to always provide free rubicon.
I'm a patron of the passion fruit variety.
Calories of goodness in a can :-)

Where I come from, rural folks would have their largest meal mid-day, and call that "dinner", with supper being the evening meal.

Now most people have their main meal in the evening, and dinner and super are used interchangeably.

But I had my dinner today about 1 pm.

A nice bacon-wrapped filet mignon, with Montreal steak spice, fusili pasta with pesto, and sunflower sprouts very lightly sauteed with butter and garlic and dressed with a little lemon. A nice glass of Australian Shiraz to wash it down with.

This was my first time having sunflower sprouts, a gift from a neighbour's garden. The are absolutely delicious.

Your food choices are immense.
As for the sprouts though, I must say that's in poor taste!..
I do like the wine option to wash down mind.
And pasta is always a great staple to a meal.
