I was betting a number by two neighbours, so five bets at 10p a pop, rising by 10p every spin until I get a win, and suddenly had the urge to put a couple of £25 bets on the columns. On the next spin, I forgot to change the chip size and added £25 to each of the five numbers, and being speed roulette, I didn't have time to cancel it. It hit on one of my numbers, think it was 22, and got £900 back! Not particularly huge, by some people's standards, but I found it quite remarkable at the time. :)

Here is an amusing video from a Scandinavian streamer who did something rather similar, but with bigger stakes.

When I was brand new to online gaming I signed up to some random casino, deposited £50 and opened a game called break da bank which I'd never played before.

Balance and stake was showing in credits not pounds so I mistakenly bet the default of £20 a spin.. safes dropped in... 150x. Luckily realised what I'd done and cashed out.

Not on slots, but was putting a £10 tricast on the horses a few years ago, meant to be favourite, 2nd favourite and a 25-1 chance. Ended up somehow putting them in the reverse order by mistake, and they came in in that order, got over £4000 from that mistake!

In the last world cup, was on coral, noticed a match was still listed as not started when it had finished 30 minutes previously. Didn't think it would work, and didn't want to make the return too high if it did (to avoid any extra checks), so stuck £20 on the correct score, was settled instantly for £420 :D

Nice!

I once placed a win bet on the betfair exchange, with the intention of laying some of it off close to the finish, so when they entered the final furlong, I submitted my lay bet and my browser froze up, I wasn't sure if the bet had been submitted and none of the buttons worked anymore, so in desperation I reloaded the browser window.

Turned out that the first lay had been submitted, and when I reloaded the window, it submitted a second time, but by that time it must have been close to the winning line and I got odds of 1.04 or something, and my horse got pipped at the post, so I won a tidy few quid. I can't remember the exact details because it was so long ago, but it was very welcome.:)

For me I'd opened up a new online betting account and had a bash on the slots after winning just over £50 profit on small stakes, I changed game and the starting off amount was at £20 per spin, all games prior were set to between £2 per spin or less. I didn't change the value and before I realized I was £100 down "Break Da Bank Again", was the game.

Not a mistake as such, but back when I had a SIS subscription at home (so about 8 seconds ahead of ATR) all the horses fell in a race, and I saw Tony McCoy watching and looked like he was thinking about remounting. I stuck £3 on at 999-1, he remounted, went back to where he fell, and started going again, in hindsight wish I had stuck £100 on, but by the time it was obvious what he was doing the price had gone as others had seen it on ATR by then, so in some respects was lucky to get £3k. The rules on remounting were changed due to that race!

I remember that race, there was a Scots dude on the forum, can't remember his name now, who won about £100k doing the same thing.

Oh balls I read that wrong,
It's best winning mistake, read it the wrong way round. Ahh welll be reet haha. :D

Just cashed out (years ago) at Go Wild Casino £20 deposit, £100 cash out IIRC, leaving just £20 in balance to continue playing.

Loaded up Lord of the Rings (original none PJP version) and set auto. forgetting to change bet size (their default was £6)

Screamed as I saw the reels take off and balance jump down to £14, soon turned to elation as I had double and stacked wilds across 4 reels

As best I remember it was just shy of £500, soon back in the cashier :p

Had a similar experience at All Slots Casino with Thunderstruck - loaded game with just over $400 balance - put game on auto went to grab my coffee in kitchen (usually I play no more than 1.80 a spin) I had previous luck with game and bet size was loaded at 11.25 came back to $25.25 balance - flipped out and just before I clicked on stop auto - I hit 4 rams! and would up with $1700!! Came so close to losing it all in little more than a min or two. First thing when loading a game is ALWAYS check the bet size lol

I accidentally spun Center Court for 0.36p not realizing it was on 0.20 coin size (so a £7.20 spin) got free spins and won £300.

The only one that really stands out is a £3.60 bet on Dead or Alive (which is, as well all know, HUGE on that game) and hit free spins.

I didn't get "the big one" but did land 4 wilds and some decent wins and netted about £500 if I remember correctly. I'll add more if I remember them...

My best accidental bet was $100 on rummy (sidebet) in a Blackjack hand.

I was racing the clock to get the bet in before the timer ran out and didnt realize until after the bets closed that I had the blackchip selected when I clicked on the rummy bet. Meant to do $5

Boom, rummy hit for $1000 paid 9:1+original bet

Even the dealer was as shocked as I was...

Every time that I have mistakenly bet more than intended coin wise I have lost except on Friday where after finishing a few free spins I played dead or alive on 90p a pop. Luckily about 10 spins in I hit the bonus and ended being £30 better off :D

Sorry if its the worse instead best, years ago playing a crappy frankenstein game at mecca ,pressed max stake without realizing
and staked £1000 on the spin, game gave no warning just span at that stake,of course no win, complained about the lack of warning, but no
joy although i understand why(would I have complained if it was a winnning spin)

Still have nightmares about it and never played at mecca since.
