Hi everybody,
i already wrote in another thread that im new here. So just to collect some experiences from you im interested in the question:
What is your avg. bet size on a slot? 0.9/1.2 or higher or lower?

What was your experience while changing yor bet sizes?

Thanks for your replies

My balance is over 300 euro I bet 3 euro But I lost always all money...sometimes withdraw 1000-1500 euro...

I play 0.60 bet if deposit 25-50 euro

It depends on how long I want my money to last, or better way of saying I guess would be how many spins I want to get. If I'm only going to play one slot, then I like to at least get 100 or so spins, maybe 200 on it. So I divide my money accordingly.

That being said increasing or lowering the bet won't directly effect (affect??) you winning or losing. If I was you I would go in and bet whatever you're comfortable with losing. If you want to get plenty of play time I would adjust the bet.

All of that aside my bet ranges from .01 <~~~yes I go there sometimes, to the maybe $ 15.00 or so. I can't recall the exact max bet I've made on a slot machine. My poison of choice is normally roulette, and I've done $100 number bets, spread between up to 9 numbers or so.

Some of the crazy bets was exactly why I had to walk a way for a while, as things got out of hand, and lower bet sizes lost their appeal. I remember Chuchu telling me, to be careful as that would happen. Sadly I mentally dismissed what he stated, then shortly later I found myself in the exact position he described. Feeling it necessary to bet big, in order to achieve that same "feeling" I use to get when betting .20 cents and winning 5 bucks.

Don't get sucked into that. Wins are nice, but loses are worst.

I take whatever my deposit is (typically small, like 25 or 50 dollars) and divide it by 100, and if I win, I scale my bets on that ratio.

I'll usually deposit between 50 and 100 and bet ~0.60. If I manage to win I'll adjust my bet accordingly but no more than 1.20.
I find that betsize has no influence on the outcome although sometimes the game may seem colder as it was most likely variance coming into play after winning big on the smaller betsize.

I try and get as much playtime as possible, my bets are usually .18 or .27 On 9 liner slots. Going by crazy big bets in the past I find low rolling seems to be more generous in payouts..usually!

thanks for your replys.

i Started always with 0,6 betsize.
Then after a couple of time all my winnings only sucked. Then i increase it to 1,2 to 1,8.
Thats now my usual betsize.
But anway only with a deposit of 150 Euro.

So i guess thats not the best way - cause the relation between my deposit and my bet size is wrong, right?

I do that cause my experience shows me that i win more with 1,2 to 1,8.
Of course i could be wrong with that...

So i have one question:
did you change your betsize or do you play "an other style" when you gamble with bonus money.

For instance you received a 50USD bonus with 25* wagering.
Do you gamle with a high bet size or a low one?

I just go with the minimums. It is even hard for me to splurg on 18 cents on a 9 cent machine. I only go up if I ended up with a till over 150 if I did a 50 to 100 deposit.

I usually deposit £50.00 and than bet £1.50 per spin. If I'm lucky enough to get my balance over £100 I sometimes up the bet to £3.00 per spin. Looking at other's comments I may be betting a little high and this may account for my balance quickly becoming zero!

As for bonus money, I tend to bet smaller, rarely over £1.50 per spin as I've noticed that wins are fewer when there's a WR to be achieved! This is certainly how it feels. Also you have to be careful with bonus funds as there's sometimes a maximum bet as a percentage of the bonus. I learnt the hard way when I had £2000 winnings confiscated when I broke, inadvertently, a 10% maximum bet clause, so I always read the T&Cs carefully now!

Hope this helps

I like to low roll because it gives me more playtime. But I almost never play with the min bet because if I win nicely I always think what if I had just bet 0,40e instead of 0,20e or something like that. It's just 20snt difference but doubles the win(doubles the bet also xD) :p

I would usually take my bankroll and make sure that I have 100 to 300 spins on it. Lower variance games are OK but on the higher variance games I usually think 300 is safe - Just depends what you play.

As other posters have alluded to, give your self extra gaming time. Increasing your bet sometimes would result in you never getting that feature and busting out. It could work both ways (you could win too), but its better to play it safe until you reach a sizeable bankroll.

Depends on the game, I’d go in with a £1,000 bankroll on Super Jackpot Party at £10 a spin but would never up my bet on say Bruce Lee beyond £1.20 a spin, it’s boils down to variance and experience with the slots you play I guess. Not a magical answer but the only one I have.

I'm all over the map in terms of betsize.

The same $100 deposit might see me starting at 60 cents, and pushing upwards of $3 if I'm running good on a game. I might play at 9 cents if I only have $20 and want to make it last.

There are certain games I don't play below certain betsizes. Others I might find playing from 30 cents to $6, depending on balance and whether there is wagering to complete with a bonus.

60 cents to $2.00 is probably most typical though.

bets

low bets till im up slowly increase start at 60 cents and go to 90 if im up and 120 if im really up say tripple my steak mmm steak :) low bets work fore me scored 1000 dollars of a 50 cent bet once on immortal romance and my last good one was 30 cent bet for 800 dollars on the new playboy slot just got alot of the subs in the running wilds feature i like my low bets lasts longer i usually take bonus for deposit i found slow low bets till im up is a good playthru

It doesn't matter how much I deposit I generally stick to the following tiers for playing. It seems to work for me. I've gone from a $50 deposit to $1k+ plenty of times with this method.

$1.50 per spin (under 50)
$1.80 to $2.10 (51 to 99)
$2.40 (100 to 200)
$3.00 (200 to 500)
$3.00 to $6.00 (501 to 999)
$5 to $12.50 (1000+)

geez, you guys bet high,i usually depo 50-100 and take bonus,i bet around 0.30-0.60 and almost never deviate from that even if im way up

bets between $0.90 and $1.50 total bet per spin if balance has $199 or less

bets between $2 and $3 if balance is between $200 and $499

bets between $4 and $5 if balance is between $500 and $999

bets between $5 and $7.50 if balance is above 1.000

Speaking as a Roulette-head, my bets (always straights, by the way) are typically 40/50p until I hit a winning streak when I will double-up for few spins of the wheel.
Putting my BlackJack hat on, I always open up at £2 (pointless going any lower, really) and will never bet higher than £4, even if I'm feeling invincible.
:D

That's close to what I do, though I start even lower
