from WHG(white hat gaming)

A few months ago they stopped me spinning by logging me out my account. I asked why they said I have been playing too long.

Now it turns out every session I am maxed out to 2 hours(every 24 hours) of slots before being cut off from spinning( I didn't request for this feature).

Has anyone else been put on this sanction? I literally feel like when I was a kid and my mum would say right 10 more minutes then bed! These extraordinary measures have to stop (or the UKGC has to go) as they are sapping the fun out of any online slotting!

Anyone who plays slots knows it can take more than 2 hours to grind out a high variance game. And also allow for door interruptions phone calls hunger toilet breaks etc. I feel if I wanted this measure I'd have asked for it.

Really puts me off depositing here.

Yes, next you'll need a live video feed to a personal petri dish when you're playing and be asked to rub a cotton wool bud around your underwear to sample test on it, to make sure you've wiped your ass properly before play.

Yes WHG they have limit time of playing, last weak I was doing wagering on and off in office, I got home after 20min I got log off from account, they told me 12hrs play in 24hrs
But it reset after 00;00
so if you start playing 12;01pm to 23;59 log out 00:01 log in again for another 12hrs lol
Is not UKGC Rule is their own WHG Rule

It's so they can score brownie points with the UKGC in my opinion, some credit in the bank if you will.

'Look Mr UKGC man, look how responsible we are...logging people out of accounts every two hours!'

''Duly noted Mr Casino man, maybe we'll look more favourably on you upon any potential future infringements due to your excellent (fun crushing) due diligence''

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Either something like that or they want a route out of the UK market. I mean, why would anyone choose to play at a casino where they’re constantly hassled?

I've had a fair number of slot sessions that looked disastrous and then turned around, with this rule you'd just get the shafted part and then logged out at the start of a recovery

Yes, I wonder how much of this is designed around playing style.

For sure, it's under the disguise of responsible gambling but I wonder how it affects player outcomes, games and withdrawals. I also wonder how many land-based casinos have tried this with customers due to customer care and responsible gambling - hedge a bet at zero?

I’m waiting for the day that you have to book a time with a UKGC rep who comes to your house to supervise your 30mins max casino session for the day. They’ll arrive with problem gambling pamphlets and suggestions on where you could better invest YOUR money.

Yes it sounds daft. Imposing two hour time limits would have also sounded daft before it started to become reality…

Well it's just getting ridiculous now. So you can't even have a nice evening on the slots.

And how many gamblers will do a "Hail Mary" bet (or series of bets) at 1:55 minutes.. I probably would if I knew the fun was about to stop for the day, regardless of if the "fun had stopped", to coin a phrase.

I guess my gambling days are coming to an end soon then.....

Risk also impose the 2 hour limit. They also limited me to £400 deposits a month, The after waiting 3 weeks for them to verify my docs I closed my account.

Why are online casinos in the UK starting to impose these ridiculous limits? It’s almost as if the UKGC have given them advanced notice of this new requirement. They are severely limiting their business otherwise. That’s unless the casinos are expecting the Hail Mary bets at the end (as @slot_zombie suggested above), knowing that they’ll get the money in the end anyway. Won’t work for me I’m afraid as they’ll continue to only get my 20p spins right up to the time limit.

I wonder how many at the UKGC even have a login to any of the casinos? I’d expect not as they really do come across as clueless…
