Hey,
I know there is a lot of affiliates that participate in this forum, which is a good thing. I am curious about this as details on myself and my gambling activity are private, but I understand some affiliate programs allow the affiliates access to data that other programs don't.
Quite often its an affiliate that gets me to sign up somewhere. Be it because I know I can trust a casino they are recommending (baptism by fire style), or maybe its because I am on that affiliate site a lot as they add value back to players (oddschecker, casinomeister, KasinoKing's sites etc). What exactly can they see about me after I sign up? My full name? My date of birth? My deposit history? My running total or wins/losses? My email address?. I have a buddy who used to do affiliating for poker sites years and years ago. He told me that for one group he could see almost nothing except for rake generated, but for another site he could see full names etc. In my opinion this is quite sensitive data, especially if it includes email addresses and date of birth with names.
I could find out myself by finding out from a casino who my affiliate is (and if they wont tell me nicely sending a SAR) and then sending a SAR to the affiliate but seems a bit of a long process to do that if I could find out here, cheers.
