Tell us, what you person ally expect from your own gambling in 2007!

My own idea is divided in partes tres:

a) dreams
b)expectations
c)goals

and may answer is:

a) five wilds with a serious bet (4,50up)
well, yes- its difficult, i had some 5 scatters and some grat wins.
When is ask mysef: what for am i gambling , i have to identify a dream...
just: relaxing or so---- is too less for me
so i choose: 5 wilds!

b)every casino, i play has no reversal time and a payout within 12hours

c) i urgently need to be more disciplined in taking wins.

We all know the steps of the killing circle:
1. you win - danger- you gamble it all to zero
2. you cash in: danger: you reverse and then back to 1
3. you get paid - danger: youb risk it all again and back to 1
4. its on your bank account-

I am now even since I started gambling online again after a 3 year hiatus.

Here are my goals for 2007:
1) To slow it down with the deposits. My first step was to lower my Neteller Instacash credit line.
2) Choose a few accredited casinos and play with them (with the exception of Hype which is right now my shining star). That will be an ongoing search for the first quarter of 2007.

My dream is to hit the super jackpot on Hype!

One expectation is for all the casinos no matter what software they are running to respect me as a player in all their contacts with me. No matter how ridiculous a question I might come up with don't retort with some flippant remark. Remember some of us aren't insiders so we have to depend on the experts to guide us. I make mistakes sometimes and sometimes I am right. If you piss me off I won't be back. :p

Mine:

1. Being more disciplined in actual gameplay.
2. Better BR management.
3. Better record keeping.
4. Above all, settling for multiple smallish cashouts as opposed to only a few large ones, which results in going "broke" more often.

OOPS, almost forgot the most important:

5. Take every penny from liquidsoap and tennis_balls playing poker!

I have to say that I never ask myself these questions. I sure have my dreams, but I know they are only dreams. About my goals and expectationts...

a) dreams
:

Royal Flush on a 50 hands Jacks Or Better VP... Ooooh YEAH!!

b)expectations
:

I expect to loose - period! (exclamation mark). I expect to loose EVERYTHING I deposit (or the money I'm taking to Vegas) - I'm paying for entertainment only.
Any other expectation will disappoint me eventually. It's not that I deposit the amount I can afford to loose... I deposit the amount I approved myself for entertainment beforehand.

c)goals
:

My goal is actually some kind of a dream... To be able to manage a casino (using my own vision on how a casino should be).

c)goals
a) Win a progressive jackpot. (Fairly unlikely as I very rarely play those m/cs)
b) I expect repeat bonus WR's to get even harder, so I'll seek out more Sign-up bonuses.
c) To be more controlled (especially with slots) to ensure continuing profits

dreams: Worldwide licencing and regulation

expectations: Things will get worse before they get better

goals: reducing my entertainment budget and freeing up more time for offline pursuits and investments

Great question! :)

I'll continue doing what I did in '06 (a rare profit year), while allowing myself fewer chances of just GOING for it. I would have to think that over the past few months, I've altered my style (while being up a lot) and gone as high as $37.50 per spin on Thunderstruck/Mermaids Millions. While there's no doubt that the payout could very be HUGE, I've done myself in quite a number of times trying to get there. I had a great year from a gambling perspective, but I could have won substantially more had I not gone chasing it.

Well, another year to get better at that.

I was also thinking of kicking-off the new year by limiting the amount of money I can spend for the entire year. I'm looking at $5,000 in total, which would be a great target to shoot for. Although I find BJ boring these days, I was thinking of dividing that yearly sum in half, where I play $2,500 (on average deposits of $50-100) solely on BJ, and the other half on slots/VP (basically everything else).

I'd also like to aim at playing no more than once during the week (w/maximum time of 3 hours of play), and a (light) marathon on my day off (which is generally a Sunday). While I would say that it's wise not to extend my bankroll when losing, it's equally important not to get lost hours-upon-hours frying-my-brain while spinning reels. It can throw my sleep pattern off, which trickles into my daily exercise routine, which cuts into my writing, ect.

Whether or not I stick with what I'd like to accomplish in '07, it would be an ideal way of going into the New Year. I hope there are a lot of success stories, whether it be the player or the online gaming industry.

a) Dreams ...

Roman Abrimovich dragged off to a gulag - his assets frozen - Chelsea disbanded - and Arsenal storm back in the European Cup final to clinch a very surprising quadruple.

Odds 1000-1

(how hard can that be?)

b) Expectations

Roman Abrimovich to get a billion pound richer and spend it all on making Chelski the first club to declare nationhood after reaching 10,000 registered players (one for each fan)

c) Goals.

To discover the incriminating financial evidence that means that Roman Abrimoich ... errr see point (a)
:D

Dream 1 = To have US online gaming declared legal, and regulated.

Dream 2 = To become a really good Video Poker player. (It's under "dream" because I currently have no intention of working at it)

Expectations = None

Goal = Between bonus-hustling and card counting, to get my bankroll up to a point where I can bet with green chips at B&M casinos. Then I'd feel like a hotshot.

My goals are:
1) Hit a Royal Flush at $1 video poker, then move on to the $5 level.
2) Hit the 100 free spins on Raindance again, and this time get a retrigger and achieve the maximum payout.
3) A bigger Random Jackpot.
4) Double my bankroll.
