Following the thread I started earlier regarding a new PC

I have been presented with an amazing opportunity to double my very limited budget from the very generous Mark of 32 Red Casino.

His post explains below what I need to do which not only is a wonderful opportunity for me personally but can also be turned into some fun along the way.

Hi Jon,

I can't help with specs, Max and the others have that sorted. But for a bit of New Year fun I want to give you the chance to double your budget.

Deposit your budget (up to £500) at 32Red and place any even money roulette bet. If you win, you have a budget to buy a PC to challenge Google. Lose and we'll refund your £500 and throw in a can of Carling.

All I ask is that you set up a poll on which bet to place and film the outcome for CM members to see.

Now (blushes) despite being a CM regular for nearly 2 years I don't know how to correctly set up a poll so I respectfully ask is that you post one of the choice of...

Red, Black, Odd, Even, High or Low

I will 'physically' count the 'votes' and this is where the whole deposit will be placed/bet and I will also video the single spin live as it happens and post the results in this thread.

As a life time low roller, although risk free, this will be the largest bet I have ever made by over 100x!!

Use French or European Roulette, only a single zero, so slightly more chance of winning the PC rather than the can of lager and a refund.

Chuck the lot on RED, as it's 32RED casino, and they may have wheels with a bias towards red

I chose Red since it is Mark at 32Red that threw down the gauntlet and made the challenge. Good on Mark and 32Red for coming up with an interesting promo just for you Jon Worst case you end up with your starting balance and a can of beer although I would demand a better quality than Carling. P.S - with virtual reality technology (occulus rift) about to come to the forefront of PC technology this year if you are going to upgrade your PC I suggest if your interested in virtual reality tech to get something beefy to futureproof your pc investment. I have tried samsung gear VR about two weeks ago and I have to say I am quite impressed with VR technology and I can see it being a game-changer for how we use our PC's for entertainment in the future. I will definitely be jumping on occulus rift/project morpheus (PS4 Virtual Reality) in the future. May not be for everyone but if your progressive with your tech its worth a demo to see what all the fuss is about.

So imagine playing slots in a virtual reality casino !!! Just a suggestion

I have done a quick test (not gambling based) and have flash casino and Bandicam running with minimal lag (for the moment)

I do plan a voice over, basically a thank you based intro to Mark, 32 Red and all the CM community and maybe a bit of Black Country humor!

Problem is it sounds very 'mumbled' when I play back, but I am working with the levels more closely now and getting there slowly so all been well........

Lets hope my lag holds off on the day otherwise you guys could know the outcome of the spin before I do

Update Before the event!!! )

Hi All Update time

Firstly thank you again to Mark and 32 Red for allowing this opportunity to even exist lol!!

Big shout to all CM members, mods, reps etc who have voted, posted and given much appreciated support and advice - Cheers!

I also have to give a special mention to Rachel, Nikki, Liam and the team at Trada Casino. They have shown an interest in this opportunity from Mark from the start, providing me with great support......

But also Rachel credited me with 5 Super Spins on DOA last night, paying a cool £29.60, clearing the wagering and cashing out (very quickly after KYC) a cool £200!!!

Now my original budget for the PC project was £150-£200 I've 'juggled' finances around and can now work with the top end of that range, did plan to add the Trada Casino winnings, however both the tax and MOT are due on my car the end of this month so will save that money for the car and work with the £200.

The deposit will be made at some point this afternoon/evening and I am going to do a 'test' video on 'fun mode' first make sure its all smooth and you can hear me etc.

However I have been struggling with the microphone and when I play it back its very mumbled at times so apologies in advance if the actual 'live spin' suffers this too.

I will make sure tho that the video itself is clear and hopefully 'lag' free.

Indeed, slots all the way for me but the deal on this was was a big roulette spin, never seen my balance grow so quickly tho lol, that £200 profit would have taken hours on my medicore, humble little slot bets lol.

Used to love to 'deal' roulette when I worked in B&M casino, it was that popular we had more roulette tables (10) than any other games combined!!

Some nights punters were almost 'fighting' to get at the tables and on one mad instance the table legs even gave way!!!
