OK, it's clear to me now too that Ivy affiliates are breaking their own terms in relation to negative carry-over (NCO).

Their terms:

4.2. The Affiliate may promote the Affiliate Programme to other potential affiliates by posting on the Affiliate´s Website a hyperlink made available by Ivy Affiliates for such purpose. If any person applies to join the Affiliate Programme directly via any such hyperlink (as recorded by Ivy Affiliates´ systems) and such person is accepted as an affiliate by Ivy Affiliates (a “Sub-Affiliate”), Ivy Affiliates will pay to the Affiliate an amount equal to 2% of the commission paid by Ivy Affiliates to such Sub-Affiliate (excluding any commission paid to such Sub-Affiliate in respect of any sub-affiliates successfully referred to the Affiliate Programme by such Sub-Affiliate) pursuant to Ivy Affiliates´ agreement with such Sub-Affiliate (the “Referral Commission”).

4.3. If the Affiliate has a negative monthly balance in respect of Commission payable by Ivy Affiliates, the Affiliate’s monthly balance is automatically reset to £0 at the beginning of each calendar month, to ensure that no negative balances are carried forward – this term only applies to affiliates promoting our brands on a straight revenue share deal.

4.3.1 No negative carry over only applies to revenue share deals – hybrid deals (CPA + Rev Share or Flat + Revenue Share) do not apply.

I have always been on RS only and as far as I know nothing has changed, I still am.

The only thing I have changed in 2 years is adding TEMPLE NILE to the account. I strongly suspect this has led to the problems people have latterly experienced here:

Ivy affiliates and legal action

This is odd as Temple Nile is on RS too. I have no CPA or other deals apart from basic RS.

I will contact the rep about this as it's clear something is amiss this month as I am way past the settlement date of the 15th. and this must only be because of NCO.

To have bunded brands is bad enough, but NCO on top means it's unworkable.

Right, make of this what you will but I was paid literally moments after this thread! Neteller.

Now previously, unlike others, I have always been reliably paid around the 10th. by Ivy Affs.

Thing is, I don't know if I was going to be paid all along and it was just late and outside the stipulated timescale OR if I wasn't going to be paid due to misapplication of the NCO rule and they have realized NCO doesn't apply to me.

It's clear there are still issues with others regarding this situation so I would appreciate some input from the rep here!

For anybody else, please check you are RS only as if you aren't they CAN apply NCO to you. (see terms above)

Useful, thanks. I've downloaded the past 18 months data and will trawl through it at the weekend to see if I can spot any patterns.

I hope you're as excited as me to visit the Ivy Affiliates stand at Ice in a few months :D

I agreed to a deal with them for their brand a year ago. As they released new casinos, they put you on a some negative carry over structured deal that I did not even know existed. Instead of fixing it after I brought this up to them why I was getting NCO, they just said oh its your fault you didnt fix your plan with new releases. Ok maybe..maybe thats true. Even if it is, since you have a deal in place for the entire brand isnt the normal thing to do is say no problem we fixed and will pay you the amount owing as if you were just on revenue share. Nope instead they tried to take commissions owing and claiming its because of this NCO crap.

They paid us our back dated commission aside from one month so far and reopened my account and agreed to allow me to keep earning commission of the players who signed up with us. However, they switched the deal on us and told us I am no longer on the revenue share deal and I am now on the structured NCO for all the old sign ups. I dont even know how they can do that or even think that is legit to do. Since all those players came from our initial agreement.....

They were very very slow to respond and still havent explained the reason why they closed our account and I can say with absolute certainty if they did not pay us and took our players, we already had plans in place to fly all the way from Canada to ice just to confront them in front of everyone. We never fought with them. never argued with them, never bashed them, we did absolutely nothing to them to deserve what they did to us.

I mean I am happy we got most of our commission and our account back opened considering we both figured we were going to have to fight them and confront them and go after them until things were righted - we were ready to go to Ice with a bullhorn/microphone in front of their stand after what they were doing to us  and no I am not kidding LoL

I am pretty pissed I had to go to the forums for help as I would really rather not air stuff like this but they gave me no choice because they would not respond.

Yes, I think that explains it, the second sentence of your post. That's what I thought, that any subsequent new casinos must skew the original RS model. IF you are on RS and due to the 'bundling' of the brands another casino is added which changes the overall commission structure for all the others then that is not cool at all.
As said above, mine has been sorted and I'm up to date but someone needs to get a grip here.

Hi all,

First of all, our sincere apologies for the lack of presence here. Please rest assured that we have read each and every one of your messages and take your concerns of our services very seriously.

In relation to the negative carry over - Releasing new casinos will not have any effect on the revenue share deals set on your account & we don't deliberately put anyone on a negative carry over structure. However, we might need to reinforce a NCO in rare, extreme cases of any colluding or fraudulent player activity or anyone seeking to get an unfair advantage of our services. In such cases, we will always discuss the matter with the affiliate in question first, before applying a NCO to their account.

Furthermore - Please note that each structure, for each casino, needs to be applied manually. Therefore we would appreciate our affiliates being proactive and contact us, if they would like to start promoting our new releases and get the same plan for the new brand also. As, unfortunately, there's no way to set up the system to do that automatically. We acknowledge that this is not ideal, but it's the way the partner client works and unfortunately we have no control over it.

However, as per good business practice, we put our best effort in keeping an eye out for any odd occurrences so that any possible errors can be fixed as early as possible. We also encourage our affiliate partners to monitor their accounts for any irregularities and report them to their assigned affiliate managers so that they can investigate the issue further. If you feel that something is not right, please don't hesitate to contact us at info@ivyaffiliates.com - our team is here to help you.

Nothing yet, but if they have NCO I don't really know where I stand with these guys :D

I was positive in December and was paid, and positive in January so cannot possibly have NCO issues.

Erratic - @Ivy Affiliates they used to pay like clockwork about the 10th. like many WHG programmes, now only sometimes they do and if it isn't paid by around that time you know there's going to be some kind of problem later in the month when it doesn't materialize.

I guess they arent paying people this month. I was caught right up to date and last month there was a balance owing to me, so its impossible for NCO to be the reason as I am in the positive.

Welcome to Ivy affiliates where they just do as they please. They sure are quick to send out messages when they want threads marked as resolved but if it's something that doesnt interest them, they could care less.

Heard on the grapevine today that Big Boy Affiliates (another White Hat affiliate) will be closing accounts later this month due to UK regulations.

This group don't make things easy do they! Full Cream Affiliates still remain the fastest out of them all.

Not related to payments but see Ivy Affiliates have banned any twitch promotion in English

Dear Partners,

Please note that, with immediate effect, no affiliate is allowed to use Twitch in the English language (without exception including banners, voiceover, creatives and promotional material).

If you use Twitch and promote (either directly, or indirectly) our brand(s) in English, we are asking you to refrain from doing so. Please make sure that all links & our brand(s) imagery are removed as soon as possible.

As this is a very urgent matter, please action immediately. If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us on info@ivyaffiliates.com

Thank you for your cooperation.
