Hi Gang

Just noticed this little gem at the bottom of the latest freebie offer from Absolute Slots:

$3 Free bonus may be wagered on all slot games excluding progressives. Max cashout is 7x bonus amount. Please note that consecutive Free Chips may not be cashed out unless a deposit bonus is redeemed in between.

Remind you of any other casinos?? Its a fav with the rogue RTGs if memory serves. I bet there are some who get caught out with this as it ALWAYS causes problems. Oh, and did I mention its $3...

Rival. Great games - stupid policies.

Stupid. If the casino didn't want players using consecutive free chips, they are free to not OFFER consecutive free chips. They could also lose trust over this policy, as players expect that there is trust, and that if a free chip is dropped into your account, it is a gift, not a trap.

Virtual do go further, they will ban cashouts FOREVER after you use two consecutive free chips, and they literally throw free chips at you in an attempt to get you to entrap yourself. They will then spring this breach on you the next time you have a big win, but will keep it quiet whilst you are still losing.

The Absolute term seems to imply that the restriction is removed each time you deposit, and it does not apply to consecutive deposit bonus offers.

A gain of $3 is hardly worth risking this trap.

Yea LOL, I got that email earlier and was thinking "wow", can't wait to play and see if I can manage to cash-out for $21...SWEET !!

I didn't even realize that they would let you make a cashout for less than $25.

well i got a lot of casinos on my desk top

so i think ill un install this one nothing pizzes me off more in life as a entrapment tactic

I'm finding more and more Rivals with restrictive terms. At Pantasia if you take their current 100% bonus (and happen to get lucky) the max you can cashout is 50 X the bonus. You have to roll over the deposit and bonus 31 X but they put a cap on your winning ability. Not as bad as Vegas Regal but getting close. My computer is going to be happy...I'm uninstalling almost everything:thumbsup:

Isn't Absolute Slots the casino/skin that is owned by Effective Media (aka CAP/Lou and Warren)? Didn't one or both of them admit to this in their statement(s)?

I'm a bit surprised (but not really I guess), that anyone who is aware of that whole situation is playing there, or promoting them at all. :what:

If they didnt want to offer consecutive freebies couldnt they just ask Rival to write a script that wouldnt "allow" this?

At this point I think that most players assume that everything in the promotab can be claimed. This is one thing that Rival has done good, now we may suddenly see different policies that ruins this simple system.

Im not a bit surprised. Its like with MG a while ago, everyone tought they were ok just because of the software.

Maybe we will see a Rivalgroup go under like TUSK did (its BTW still ongoing for over a year).

These constitute a "personalised offer". Rival have already established this by having scripts that tailor offers in the cashier to be visible only to players who are eligible.
More recently, this has begun to break down when players claim an offer visible in the cashier, but it fails, and support THEN tell them they were not, after all, eligible - although conveniently the casino NOW has the deposit, and have clearly taken an "in good faith" deposit from the player for an invitation in the cashier, and acted in "bad faith" by making the player pay the price for a systems failure, rather than honouring what was offered, and then fixing the problem, as is seen with support then removing the rest of the promos from that player's cashier.

Absolute now seem to have gone from "bad faith" to "entrapment", a similar tactic to that used by Virtual. Flood the player with personalised offers, but set traps that are stealthily applied, even if not necessarily hidden.

Now that we know who is behind Absolute, the behaviour of Absolute towards it's players reflects the ethos of it's owners, who have displayed this ethos elsewhere in the great CAP debacle.
Their ethos to me seems to have been to make money, even if it means leaving their morals at home. Simply the playground bullies who would steal your lunch money if they think they could get away with it, but all grown up now.

I remember those days, the bullies would do anything they liked (and again and again so long as they got away with it), but if they got hurt back they "ran home to mummy", and tried it on someone else the next time.

Now I remember, there was recently a thread about it. I think it was Lion Slots. Stupid name IMO, lions and slots:what: failed to see the connection

So Absolute wasnt the first to "misuse" this. Why do they deliberately try to mess up a working and simple system?

I deleted Absolute Slots from my pc last week. They are really horrible with how they treat there players along with Pantasia and now Irish Luck casino. (Lion casino might be the next one I delete I do not think there is anyway at all to win at that casino) They should be on the rouge list. I remember the other week playing a bonus at pantasia and the multiplier play through was 35X I was playing for hours and could not cashin when I tried. I messaged the help section and said I know I played through the 35X why can't I cashin. He stated you have 700 dollars more to play before you can cashin. Funny how that was the amount I was down to when I messaged them.

CoCoa Casino and Thisisvegas

Those 2 casinos get pissed off when you win. I had a cashin a month ago at thisisvegas and all of a sudden the bonuses stopped coming and the points that you earn when you play stopped moving. I asked why and was told" you account has been flagged" I said for what reason is this? they stated they are not going to disclose the reason why and I can still play there but the bonuses will not come and The points will not move anymore. I cashed in last week at cocoa and the same thing happened and when I asked them I got the same answer. I really am starting to have my doubts about these Rival casinos. You either can't cashin because you did not meet the 50x playthrough and If I cashin my account is flagged!

Would you like to be a fly on the wall and know what is going on with some of these casinos, or I should say, all but Slotocash? I started playing Rivals when they came online, starting with Pantasia. Had an account with all of them at one time. Now just Slotocash. Where do these casinos think they will go when they make it so obvious that they are giving you a screwing and not even kissing you? You would think they would be just a little less obvious. Make you think you like losing your money. :D

Thanks anniemac, I agree. They have all the Rival casino reps on here and no one even responds to this. As far as slotto cash, they have been my favorite casino. Never had an issue with them. I won many times and they never flagged my account for that! Glad they broke away from the other Rival casino's and have their own customer service team.

I am so glad we have this forum or I would never know about the issues players are having.

I only deposit at Sloto now although I can't seem to win ANYTHING there.

I just want want to thank Bryan and my fellows Meister members for alerting players to this an many other issues.

Thanks!

Hi, i am running the same promo, but i dont see the silly rule listed.
I have never made a deposit before.

That's a nice screen, but why don't Rival have a "left to wager" counter, since the software clearly has this information.

Rival do not like players who cash out too soon after meeting WR, yet WR are ALREADY way more than high enough to factor this in, so what they are doing really is telling players that they simply will NOT be allowed to win, and continue to receive the offers.

Now even TIV has got involved with this seedy business, and I thought TIV could be trusted to be more reasonable than the rest. I have even seen a couple of moans that even slotocash has started down the bonus banning route.

I suspect Rival can get away with this when it comes to US players, who have a very limited choice, and are unable to play at many of the good casinos.

Wizard Gaming, and even Top Game, have been presented with an opportunity here to draw in US players unhappy with their treatment at Rival, and if the UIGEA is overturned, several good RTG casinos are already catering to the needs of the US market, other casinos MAY soon venture back into the US market, and now I suspect that the ailing Vegas land casinos will be piling on the political pressure to be allowed to diversify into online gambling simply to save their OWN skins (the same reason they supported UIGEA before).

I don't want to complain about everything but now that you brought it up, I was wondering what slotocash is up to. They always put free money in my account and had 100 percent matching bonuses. These passed 2 months it stopped. Not that I will not play there as a matter of fact they are the only Rival casino I trust but now all they give are 20 percent bonuses.I was just curious what happened.

Been there did that...I like Sloto also but I cashed out 2 times back in August and September and now I only have the 20% (which isn't worth the WR). The rest of them all have issues...TIV stopped all bonuses after a cashin in January, Lion...I don't think anyone can win there (and they NEVER email me I have to look at my account to see what is going on), Gold Rock (newest one..they have serious issues) and the list goes on...I think I have made the ranks of "bonus banned" and that's fine I may go back to MG since I found a casino that has one of my favs (Adventure Palace):D

Oh, and if there is a Rival Rep watching...get a clue:thumbsup:

I have cashed out several times from Sloto and have never had a bonus issue with them. I still get my 100% VIP monthly bonus plus usually one in between. I got a $30 free Sloto ticket Monday. Have you email Georgina (manager) with your concerns?

As far as the terms on the $3 freebie at Absolute, I think that sometimes these Rivals give different terms to different players. I know that the deposit in between free chips was in there for some players because I read about it on another forum. I know that I have had different terms on the same free chip or bonus than other players. But who knows? Only the casino knows for sure. :D

Omg, I also never thought you could possibly win at Lions but about ten minutes ago I just cashed in 340.00. does not sound big but considering I won this from the free 15 dollars they put in my account, thats pretty good.My first win from that casino so far. Yes I so know what your saying. In my previous posts I wrote how as soon as I won at cocoa and thisisvegas they banned me from any bonuses and also banned me from any points I earn when I play. They stated for security reasons my accounts are flagged...LOL I could still play there but no points or bonuses. Can you imagine my accounts flagged. There should never be any reason that my accounts would be flagged I am in great standing with every casino I ever played and V.I.P in most. I guess they get mad when people win so they flag there accounts until we have played enough to justify the money we won.

clj..congrats on cashing out at Lions..I didn't think it was possible:thumbsup:

Update- I can't find her info in the casino reps page. If you have her mail address please send it to me. Thanks.
