I am new to online gambling. About 6 weeks ago I went to a casino that a neighbor recommended and started to play craps. I won money that first time and was pretty excited. The next several times however I couldnt seem to win nearly as well. About 4 weeks ago I logged on and I was winning like crazy. I won A very large amount of money. I cashed out most of my winnings ( which were subject to a 48 hour hold) and waited 2 days. When I attemted to login, I was told to call tech support. I called tech support and they said there was " an issue" with my account and I would be contacted the next day after risk management looks at the situation. My neighbor experienced the same winning streak, and was told by tech support that there must have been a glitch in the software. He is yet to be satisfied by the casino. I have not heard from them despite numerous emails. I am going to mail them via the contacts page here. I do not want to name the casino until I have given them a little more time to settle with me.

What I am looking for at this time is advice from the good people here on how many different ways I can either praise the casino for standing behind their games, or let as many potential customers as possible know to stay away from them.

Thanks !

Hi there... do you mind telling us which software was that? Microgaming, Playtech, RTG or is it a proprietary software?

Thanks for the question, but I think if I tell the software( I had to research on this site to find out the name of the software !), you may be able to figure out which casino I am talking about, and I want to give them a little more chance before I reveal who they are.

OK, how about this... is it on the acredited list? If it is, then I'm sure someone will be able to help you or at least the casino staff itself will be able to get back to you.

If nothing happens within the next day or so, just post here and I'm sure someone around will be able to help you out.

Hope you have a wonderful day!

I don't like the sound of this.

This should not be hushed up!
I do not like the sound of the casinos excuse when a winning streak is had on a game. If they are honest, and the games random, then such winning streaks, although odd looking, are simply down to chance, as they love to point out to us players when we moan that our 20 consecutive losses at Blackjack hands shows there must be a problem.

If we are to accept that big winning streaks show a problem with the games, we should also expect big losing streaks to be taken seriously also.

The only other explanation is not good, which is that the variance is artificially capped by the software, and that these streaks broke through the ceiling of these caps, which indicates this part of the software malfunctioned.

Let us not forget that Cryptologic shuts down a game after 4 consecutive winning hands at table max, but not after consecutive losses. 4 wins on the trot is hardly unlikely is it!

I can understand the need to protect the identity of the casino in case it makes them less inclined to settle the matter, but if they are intent on the claim about faulty software, we should all know which software to avoid if we want to be confident of a fair game.

Thanks for your input. The casino is not on the accredited list. I sent a pm yesterday to a casino manager via the contact on this site. I would like to wait a few days and see what happens. Thanks for your offer casinomeister, I am sure I will take you up on that in a few days.

Surely this will be a "one player per PC, IP, etc" problem.

Bonuses will be involved.

And we all know the outcome.

Either the player didnt understand the rule or was gnoming but I would guess this will be the problem.

Maybe Winner, I appreciate your restraint in regards to this serious matter - if I won a large amount of money and had to wait four weeks to find out why they were denying my withdrawl I'd be going bonkers! (you see, I would have already spent it all in my head so now Id want my stuff!)Now that you havnt rcvd any response from the PM (one day so far?) do yourself a favor. Fill out the Pitch a bitch form, let Bryan help you. Why wait any longer? Plus, you are killing us all by posting and not naming the Casino (this said with humor:) AGGGGG we are so nosy! But this stuff affects us all. Actually, your original question was how to give praise(?) or how to warn..we told you how to get it resolved, now if you want to warn us...you.....Must. ... give..... us...... a.... name...(again with humor:) but serious!

welcome to the forum!

sorry, no update on this yet, except that I have not been contacted via the pm I sent from here. Sorry I cant tell the name of the casino yet..I am not trying to frustrate anyone here, just trying to do my homework on how to get these guys when the time comes. Does anyone have any good ideas on how to spread PR ( besides obviously this site !!! ) ???
Thanks for your enthusiasm FRUFRUGIRL...I am going bonkers also, but I know that I need to be patient !!!

Honestly?

I'm not sure I like the tone of this last post, "how to get these guys when the time comes" and "spread PR". If the casino rep sees this, they will possibly consider that blackmail is your main aim, and that it is a case of "pay up or get named & shamed".
It would have been best to simply have named the casino for our benefit and input without asking for advice on how to "get even" before we even know what all this involves. By naming the software and/or casino we may be able to give better advice on how to resolve the problem, and perhaps what you may have done wrong, such as playing Craps with a bonus, or using "sticky bonus techniques" on a later bonus. It may even turn out that the casino in question has a history of pulling stunts like this, and we may then be prepared to help in ensuring that the facts are widely distributed to prevent others falling into the same trap.

keep in mind that that I am also looking for ways to praise them as a casino that stands behind their games when the time comes. I would much rather have this be a very positve PR thing for them than anything else !

Well as an experienced online player for many years the way your going about this sounds fishy to me, if I am held hostage by a casino not paying for an inordinate amount of time I am surely not looking for ways to "praise" them but more for ways to warn about them.

Maybe, Im not saying anything about your post being "fishy", maybe just inexperienced? I agree with everyone you are going about this the wrong way. How can we give you advice on how to "praise" a Casino that may possibly be Rouge and the "boil on our bottom?" Havent you noticed how quick things get resolved on this forum? You don't have to post the name of the Casino if you dont want to put I cannot in good faith help you with something that may be more damaging then helpful. I dont think talking them up is going to do diddle squat, if they are in the wrong, discussing the issue with names and facts is going to everyone a favor, including yourself. :) As VW says, maybe you did something wrong, (we all have) finding out what it is could help you in the future. I would pursue praising the Casino AFTER they come thru for you!:)
