Heads up.

Vegas Partner Lounge (Crazy Vegas, Sun Vegas, Maple, etc.) have quadrupled their wagering requirements.

Used to always be 15X initial deposit and bonus and 10X subsequent deposit plus bonus. Now these new terms per Crazy Vegas site:

All games count towards wagering requirements, however ALL Video Poker, Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, SicBo and Craps games count one quarter (1/4) of all wagering requirements. Please note that wagers on Blackjack for the Initial Match Bonus do not count.

So VP, BJ, etc. are now 40X through. Very unreasonable.

Not at all. Just play a different game. Plenty of sites have bonuses that disallow BJ and VP entirely.

Lame Complaint.

its ok

The requiremenst are ok. But i prefer that the casinos wouldn't make their bonus systems too complicated. I mean there are many new players who dont understand half of the rules mentioned on the terms and conditions. Which makes it even worse are these new percentages that some games count some percentage towards the requirements, max cash outs and bonus accounts, phantom bonuses, sticky bonuses urgh....cmon..

Im not saying vpl uses the others mentioned but..

This is pretty much in line with a lot of other casinos now i guess. The more bonus abusers out there, the more we'll see the trems get stricter. Quite simple and not too unfair IMHO.

I'm in danger of becoming boring here, but I'd much rather take the option of a gift like a CD than money with terms attached like these for a first deposit.

Cheers

Simmo!

I have to say I am surprised that a casino group can raise wagering requirements 300% higher and have anyone say it's okay. I still say 40X is too much, since we're only talking about a 15% bonus here. I play slots and video poker only. I often play in excess of 40X anyway, but I don't want that heavy of a restriction if I choose VP. I will just play at places that are more reasonable.

Also, my post was meant more as an alert. That's why my first two words were "Heads up." But the post still seemed to fit better in the complaints section because it's definitely a change for the worse for players.

I've only kept one VPL account open, and with that I've asked them not to credit the ongoing deposit bonuses because I don't want to be tied by the ridiculously large WR for the 5% they give on credit card deposits.

Clarification of WR

Hi All,

I would like to point out that the wagering requirements have effectively only been raised for Video Poker.

However, all the other games that now count 1/4 WR (eg. Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, and Craps), did not count at all prior to this change.

The wagering requirements for the slot games remain unchanged.

Please note that you can very easily "opt-out" of our ongoing bonuses. All you need to do is send an email to our support desk, requesting this.

So in reality, WR can now be done on a greater variety of games, but it will just take longer on Video Poker.

An extract from our Wagering Rules :

"Initial Wagering Bonus Rule:
Players must wager at least 15 X their Initial Deposit and 15 X Initial Bonus amounts before making any cash-ins.
Example: If the player deposits $100.00 and gets a $100.00 bonus, the player must wager at least $3000.00 before making a cash-in.
i.e. (15 X $100.00 [Deposit] = $1500.00) + (15 X $100.00 [Bonus] = $1500.00)

However, the Wagering Rule for Subsequent Deposits and Bonuses is 10 X before making any cash-ins."

"All games count towards wagering requirements, however ALL Video Poker, Blackjack, Roulette, Baccarat, SicBo and Craps games count one quarter of all wagering requirements. Please note that wagers on Blackjack for the Initial Match Bonus do not count."

VPL,

This clears everything up. Frankly,I opine that the WRs are reasonable. At least Baccarat and Craps now count for 1/4 of requirements. These dont even count at most other casinos.

Actually chuchu they're far from reasonable if you're playing one of the games which count a quarter.

My favoured game is JorB. VPL offers a 5% ongoing deposit bonus for credit card deposits. That means I'd need to wager 4200 on a 100 deposit for a 5 bonus! That's nowhere near my definition of reasonable and is firmly in ridiculous territory. That's why I've requested no ongoing deposit bonuses.

Video poker

Yes, I think limiting all video pokers is a bit of a drag. I for one like my video poker! I am surprised to see that craps and roulette can be played though (I don't really play them cause most casino do not allow wagering on these, so it doesn't really influence me) but I still think it is a cool move.

other casinos I have seen allows a certain % of video poker play and at other casinos you can't play selected video pokers, like JorB (which does not really help mrwolf) or the 10 play/50play pokers.

I agree that the terms and conditions are sometimes so difficult you have to take a day off to study them... :what:

....and I don't consider myself a stupid person!

Remember your winning screenshot. The casinos must've been scared pretty stiff with such a large win. So they are retaliating. Haha.
