I have played this slot extensively in practice play and while the graphics and premise are interesting I doubt I will ever play it for real money. I am sure there is potential for big wins but I just didn't see it. It takes ages, i.e. thousands of spins to fill up the rage on even one of the characters as hitting three of a kind on one of those puppies is hard. Yggdrasil had a good idea but failed miserably in the execution of this slot.

Ways to make it better: well for one have the rage meter fill up just a tad faster. Another idea when you hit the chest have less tiles to chose from cause chances of hitting the free spins or rage boost etc is very hard with so many tiles to chose from. After thousands of spins and many many bonus rounds including one beserker round the best I managed was x40 my bet which is rather weak in my opinion.

Verdict from me and advice to others that are not masochists is to stay away from this slot unless you want to be frustrated beyond all get out if not be my guest.

One set of Freespins took a little over 1000 spins to trigger, the others 100-200 spins, then paid 5x bet
No ragnarok freespins, in all of these spins i played (would estimate around 4-5000, did i fill up three of the berzerk freespins. Paid between 10-50x bet.
Gold chest- not once did i get the freespins through them.
And everytime i got freespins it was either plus one freespin or one wild.
I feel fucking horrible after watching that ho on for several hours. Wish i had seen this thread earlier lol.

I definetly feel that it's completely different nowadays, i used to win regularly, though not always leading to cashouts obviously but it felt fair. Now with yggdrasil and some other providers just leave you feel cheated, and a big part of continuing to play for me is to try to prove myself wrong, that you actually can win. But all thats done is left me in a so deep hole financially that its absolutely insane.

I think I have lost more on this slot than all others combined on Videoslots. If not, it's pretty close, and certainly more than any other game.

My last session on it was at fairly low bets, triggering a rage finally that was almost full when I started, and most of the previous ones at quite a bit higher value, so briefly I was up for the session.

None of the vikings are close to full, so there's no incentive to ever return hoping to claw some back.

I'm not going to say this is rigged, but I will say it's a slot that gets you chasing, as your previous "investment" is a major part of any payouts that do occur.

Definitely on my never play again list.

Okay, im not sure if i can explain exactly what im getting at but I'll try:

Had purple and green guy both one 3 oak away from the berzerk mode.
First green guy triggers after 1100spins, so that means ive neither hade a 3 oak of green or purple guy in that time, well, that paid shit (10x bet) then, because the game is rigged, the green guy ofcourse starts showing up frecuently, but purple guy only after ive played 1400 spins more!! So that means that it took 2500 spins to get a 3 of a kind! So so so 100% surely rigged game that it is amazing. Also just to f*ck with me some more it decided to, when getting the golden chest- 14, 7, ragnarok, 2500 coins AND 250 coins, im sure you can guess which one i "randomly" picked.

Did some studying on this slot...
First of all, for those of you complaining that there are too many tiles to choose from in the chest: it doesn't matter at all. When the chest appears on the reels, the actual win from it is already selected and comes to you with the other spin information. No matter which tile you choose - you will get the win selected for you. Contents of the other tiles is just generated randomly and you cannot win it no matter what.

Second, I cannot confirm that the RTP is getting lower when you're approaching the berserk on one of the vikings. RTP remains more or less the same. I didn't calculate the frequency of the viking appearing on the reels yet though, this one could be reduced.

Third, the game is clearly behaves in some pattern where you have periods of high and low RTP. When you have a high RTP period it can last around 50-200 spins and can pay you a lot, giving free spins after free spins, chest after chest and high base game wins after high base game wins. When you have a low RTP period on the other hand, it can last up to 2000 spins with average RTP around 60-70%.
Sometimes you can get ultra low RTP period (around 10-30%) but it doesn't last longer than 100-150 spins.
So the worst possible strategy that costs you the most money is to increase the bet if you didn't have anything good for a while - it will just eat all of your deposit and ask for more.
