Videoslots refuse to refund my FIVER!?!

What in the name of ....

Right . I play the battle slots . I've not got a laptop . I always play them on my tablet. I never have any operating issues or problems playing and ranking , unless a FLASH game randomly pops up.
Flash games are few and far between these days.
I registered to play a battle today for a fiver.
The game turned out to be a flash game , I'd never even seen the game befot ...and I cursed and swore cos there is no way of knowing unless you are the rainman if slots and lately most are html5 sooooo....I lost the fiver without even getting a chance to play the battle.
Look anyway I contacted customer service and I swear I have never met such a pair (yes pair, the first guy firstly hung up on me, the second time he got me he ran away and got someone else to take my livechat complaint .
All they could do was argue with me non stop about how battles don't work on mobiles. I said it was a tablet and I was in desktop mode as I've always been when playing the battle tournaments. They kept insisting that the battles don't work on my set up. I was banging my head against a brick wall. Then they decided to tell me I had emailed them about the same issue back in January when I asked for a 1euro refund for the same issue.
I said to them that it wouldn't be a problem if they simply put the word "flash" on the game details. .but that started them off again about how "mobile players can't play battle games " I said , "but I play on your desktop website , thererfore I am playing desktop games ?" I can play every single one of them apart from "flash"

I was going around in circles and I ended up getting SO p***** off with these two agents that I had to decide in the end to just leave VS . It's been going downhill for a good while now and this was just the icing on the cake.
Over a FIVER!! Im sick in bed, with pain flares and shakes and sleep deprivation because of painsomnia. I've fibromyalgia (have had it 14yrs so its a bedbound condition unfortunately) and I play the slots as a distraction from the pain. Today I was at the last twenty I could spare this week after spending 100 euro in the slots already (insert bashful face) and I was really hoping to turn it into something because I've two kids and a Chrismas list that isn't dolls and Legos anymore. Nope , gadgets all the way. Of course theres never guarantees. That's fine ..but to take away even half a shot at it ?

Excuse the mini rant but I just cannot believe the petty greed if Videoslots not to return my fiver. They has no real reason not to after my explanation. What is a fiver to them!?

So when the last few quid goes quickly on some random game because customer service made a sick lady's day even worse ..I WONT be returning to Videoslots.

Sorry if this is in the wrong place. Or just sounds like some crazy woman in pain delerium. I assure you I'm genuine and genuinely annoyed because loyalty is treated this way

Note - I 'de-bolded' your post, looks very aggressive, especially when the rep will try and assist you.

Just want to clear some things up about Battle of Slots, it is at the moment unfortunately not available on mobile as stated in our FAQ and this is why it cannot be found on our mobile site as well, however it will soon be available on mobile devices as well and we will keep you updated regarding this. We recommend all our players to only play Battle of Slots from a desktop device as issues can arise if you try to play it through desktop mode on mobile, and we do not refund the buy in if you have tried to play it from a mobile device.

That said, we wish to apologise if you have felt like our Support handled this poorly, we will review the contacts internally. We have also sent you an e-mail.

There are many browsers out there that support Flash on Tablet / Mobile devices, Puffin Browser is a popular one that has flash support.

That's very poor Videoslots. The lady highlighted the fact that she couldn't play flash games on her android device and registered for a buy in battle which used flash to run instead of HTML5 which DO run on android devices.

I think she is aware of this fact and I find it a little patronizing to continue informing her of this instead of the issue she clearly wants addressed which is if you will refund her her buy in amount.

She obviously didn't know this battle was running in Flash version or else she would not have been stupid enough to register knowing full well she couldn't play it, who would want to waste £5 like that?

Perhaps can you address that for her?

Yea some are supposed to but I haven't found one that actually works on Videoslots. In the past I've tried Dolphin Browser & Flashfox. Could get registered but still couldn't play.

Regardless, I don't think JkG should be expected to know everything and by default android do not support Flash so I think she should be refunded her buy in. Just my 2 cents.

They did give her it back - she posted in the battle of the slots forum yesterday :)

Yes some support flash but are hit and miss, I agree the correct thing to do is refund her £5 back to her account which they have done.
 
Can people start following the forum rule around here? You are supposed to PM the rep first. You also could have put this in the videoslots thread. This constant barraging of the reps on here is getting a bit much especially with hyperbole threads like this.
 
Great that the battles are coming to mobile. I play on my iPad.

Too bad as Canadians we will be limited even further. Yes we are still complaining...it’s only been a day.
 
We should all know by now that battles should not be played on mobiles,we have been told often enough
Ok 99% work fine on desktop mode but VS cant be liable for refunds if you happen to choose a flash game.
