Why no news about this on the german website of VS?

Would also like to know that, i didnt even see that post neither did i get an E-mail from them telling me they changed their RTP on many Games.
Dont really understand...

First of all, that dates back to 18th of february. I had to go on the news section and scroll back to find it myself. Secondly, it's literally not even on the Swedish news! Every. Single. Other piece of news is there. Except for this one. What an odd coincidence. So you only announce it to UK players, but you hide it back on 18th of february so that nobody can see it. Because if it showed up on 18th of february, at least somebody would've noticed before today.

So if you're from the UK and actively look pages back into the news every day, you *may* find it. If you're a normal UK player who doesn't do that, or from any of the other countries, you'll never find it. Surely this has got to be illegal?

edit: wait I found it. You have to go even further back It's on 7th of february in the Swedish news.

First you have to find the news at the bottom of the page (to the left) in a small text...

Then you get a load of feeds and 1 of them is about the RTP change, but it doesnt say so here...

Then you dont get all of the info anyway, its just an adjustment...

Where is the lowered RTP mentioned?

If that post were there 18th feb (it should have been found on the front page that day) I just can't understand no one here didn't notice it. I'm from Finland so this case doesn't touch me but I use VS in english language and read posts every day in english (of course). Even I didn't see any announcement. So weird

The theoretical rtp on the RTP page of my profile has not been updated to the new values.
Hope the bod players realize they have been losing 33% more since 18th Feb.
Disgusted that VS did not anounce it properly and list the changes.

I'm not quite sure what you mean, we decided to post on the news regarding this so everyone will see it, because of GDPR not all players have accepted us to send out emails, we wanted everyone to be aware of the changes, therefore we posted on the news.

So presumably you won't send any more marketing emails to anyone because you will obviously want everyone to know about battle weekends and the like, so you will only post it on the newsfeed so everyone see's it, rather than do what should be done and email customers, post about it on here, other forums you promote yourselves on, etc.

Well, Red Tiger is still my go to now that we no longer have BTG and many others, and whist I am a touch disappointed my playtime may be slightly reduced, VS still makes up for it with tonnes of freebies and this new Tuesday tournament, makes up the playtime for me. I am still mostly after the Big Wins....which will still be there in spades. What other casino generates so much extra playtime in other ways? Ive already won $25 from a Wheel spin by winning the BOD $5 free entry sit and go.
VS still offers way more than most, I don't feel this is that big of a change to warrant the fire that has been generated.

But.. it says you're from Canada. So it doesn't even affect you? It's just Sweden, UK, Austria, Ireland and Germany.

And the main disappointment comes with the fact that it's been like this since the 7th of February, but they haven't told anybody until today. And 99% of players still don't know about it.

Really? Are you under the UKGC or what's the reason for that? I doubt they wouldn't mention you if you're one of the countries being scammed.

Just go on book of dead and click info. Is the RTP 96.21 or 94.25?

We are not effected by the changes. We don't even has a "tax" in terms of regulations...

That's because you have it set to english (probably). Turn it to german language and see if it's different.

The reason i said Canada oft follows UK rules is for example when autoplay was limited or removed for uk...canada followed suit and autoplay was removed or altered for many Microgaming games... but im sure VS can clarify if Canada is impacted

I dont see regression in trying to improve customer experience regardless of fines a tougher economy the tax man etc. Im just saying i personally dont see it as a huge issue as long as they keep finding ways to reward players in other ways...especially those impacted by a lowered rtp

It costs more than 50% more money to play, for example, book of dead (From 3.79% house cut to 5.75% house cut). That's an insane amount. And of course big wins are affected - all wins are. You'll get less of everything.

Again though, I want to emphasize that I don't give a shit about the fact that they lowered it. I'm outraged by the fact that it happened in secret nearly a month ago (according to the Swedish news) and we've been paying over 50% more for nearly a month. If they had a warning pop-up that I have to pay over 50% more due to my location, I would've been totally fine with it and just stopped playing those games on VS. Now I'm giving up on VS altogether because they said that they're doing the same with all other providers as soon as they allow it. Because guess what? I have a strong feeling they will "forget" to tell anybody for a month then too and then just show up and go "Oh hey guys by the way, we raised the costs by 50% on these providers a month ago - whoopsie, forgot to tell ya that. And if you don't visit casinomeister, you'll never find out".

That's just the thing. Players are NOT being rewarded. Videoslots have cut down significantly on rewards and sort of added features which look good in theory but are in reality just another cost saving exercise.

Look at the supposed 'improved' rewards being handed out from the wheel and you will quickly realize that it's not the same... not by any stretch of the imagination.

They are obviously welcome to reduce rewards. They are not obliged to offer anything to anyone.

BUT ... To reduce the RTP just like that and without consideration for their players is another story altogether.

The house edge, that's already built in is not enough anymore. They need a bigger slice of the pie. It seems EVERYONE is now fair game.

Well at least with the changes to games it will soon be a lot cheaper to qualify for battles since you get more xp the lower the games RTP is.

Not that i qualified for this weekends battles for once. So VS should the qualifying wagering needed not be less for these countries since their battle rewards are watered down.

That said it was wager free.

When they started this all cutting last year their reason was because "taxes and costs and ect." and now more "taxes". Sounds just like our national government. But VS has paid so much taxes right now so maybe they get big tax returns end of the year and we all get tons of freebies and rewards
