Videoslots Awards : Game Providers – 2017

I did consider a couple of NettEnt titles. But I'm going to have to go with DHV.

As far as MGS go... I didn't even start to think about considering ANY of their games.

It's Danger High Voltage for me - exciting and original, the flipside being insta-death when it's not bonusing!

Toss up between Bonanza and Danger High Voltage for me.

Bonanza is too close to irresponsible gambling territory for me. You should never have to wait that long for a bonus as it potentially makes you chase it for you to be bitterly disappointed when it once again gives you a sub 50x win. And there is something not correct with it when the extra scatter or a retrigger makes the bonus round pays less than the ordinary trigger. More spins should in theory equal bigger wins surely?

I find Danger High Voltage to be the more fairer game. Bonuses drop in at an acceptable frequency and the base game can still pay a good amount of money. The two different bonus games are unique too.

So Danger High Voltage is my choice to be the winner.

I would have probably said Bonanza until about a week ago but after in excess of 2700 spins without a bonus, it sickened me that a game could be programmed to operate as such, it's designed to drain you and give nothing back in return - if it triggered the bonus more frequently and they were inadequate you could make the choice to leave but the way it has been designed is nothing short of extortion.

DHV, whilst I have not played it as often, I find it the better of the two so i would probably vote for that :)

Bonanza for me. The turnaround in how people's feel about this game and the speed in which it subsequently became popular is phenomenal

Danger & Bonanza should be blacklisted nevermind lauded

BTG's games are well- designed but without giving anything back to the player. You can still have an excellent, addictive game like IR but you know it'll reciprocate eventually....with Bonanza you got players going on full tilt, and with Bonanza I've seen two hits worth of note.

The games are fun to play purely for the potential that never materializes. F*ck knows why people proclaim them as MG & Netent- beaters when they really are not. If anything the UKGC should start asking a question or two about these games' empty promises.

Other than that they're fan-dabby-dozy

I think PlaynGo are raising the bar - so Moon Princess gets my vote. Quickspin are also making some decent little games

I do not understand why there are so many votes for Bonanza and DHV...
BTG designs their games with massive hit potential that most likely only 1 winner will experience in a pool of 2 million players...
I.m.h.o they are robbers...
I have played both games a decent amount of spins but I could never ever hit really big on it...
Also taking the stories into account from players like lockinlove who hammered Bonanza and came out with empty pockets...
Foul and vile slots and I really hope they are not gonna walk away with this prize...

Last 3 deposits from myself ended also in the pockets of BTG's slot Danger High Voltage with free spin wins of 2x-20x max...Atrocious...
The x6 wild in base game is also awol for hundreds of spins and when it lands it is only on 1 reel combined with 9's or 10's.

Another thing is, if you pick the 7 FS with random wild,if it picks the 9 or 10 symbol, all of a sudden these symbols or not to be seen anymore on reels 2,3,4,5 as they are then sticky wilds...And these are minor value symbols which land nearly on every spin in the base game...One wonders...
And when you pick the 15 FS with up to x66 multiplier it always seems to be able to miss the 3th connecting reel if a multiplier lands on reel 2,I have seen a video from Dunover once where it also kept missing 3 or more OAK's constantly when a multiplier reel was in place..Evil shit..

Ok,now on topic:

After some thoughts my vote goes to Jungle Spirit (Netent)...I really like the play of this slot and also design and graphic wise a good game.
A honorary mention goes to Bloodsuckers II, much better than it's older brother and already had some great hits on it. :)
Also Red Riding Hood, both versions from Netent I really enjoy playing.

MGS and WMS have really disappointed me this year..Especially WMS seems to have lost the plot..

Provider wise I was most impressed with Netent, Play n Go and Pragmatic this year, they came up with some very fun to play slots.

Judging by innovation it would have to be Bonanza, Warlords: Crystals of Power, Hidden, Hong Kong Tower or Jungle Spirit: Call of the Wild

All this games had something unique that was never seen before in a slot while at the same time providing super mega win potential to a very few lucky players.

Playability would have to go to Bonanza but overall I would vote for Warlords: Crystals of Power (although it has never made it onto to my TOP favorites list)

Thank you so much VideoSlots for such honoring and at the same time fun opportunity for Casinomeister! So exciting!! :)

I didn't have enough time to try out many new slot games during the previous year time period, but from the ones I did, I noticed and liked two of them:

- Jungle Books by Yggdrasil - I like Yggdrasil, concept of their games and also high quality design! This one offers Jungle Book characters and each of them has two special features. Besides their features, there's many more in the game, like win both ways, 3x multiplying wild, Hosts and Guests etc. It's always fun to play games with various features that keep you entertained! Even the number of paylines depends on the character that the screen moves towards to!

- Neon Jungle by Iron Dog Studio - This one caught my attention because it mixes slot and keno games in one, which is cool and innovative idea I'd say :) Bonus game is called Keno Light, where you get the chance to pick 10 numbers out of 28 on the Keno ticket and it can award you with decent or even big wins! Game also offers Free Spins round!

Since we all need to nominate only one, my vote goes to Jungle Books :)

Hi everybody :)

Happy holidays! Just remembered this lovely idea and voting, thinking if you all are aware who won :D

Well, it was tough, but in the end Bonanza won Meister Choice Award :) Lots of you voted this game.
I was there on the ceremony and even on the stage (because I thought I may hand over the statue to the winners - that was actually a pretty funny situation :D ), will try to get some photos :) Awesome organization from Video Slots on the beautiful terrace of their office in Malta! And our rep Daniel is cool guy!

Thanks again for including Casinomeister members choice as a special category! <3

Think not :) I didn't know most of the people there, because they are from software companies which we don't communicate directly with. And VideoSlots staff was very busy with organization and announcements :)

I should imagine that those type of awards send a big message out to those software companies who tend to be more geared to simply churning out throwaway games akin to formulaic pop music

Sakura Fortune, Frog Grog and Flame Busters? Lol - Sorry, I don't think that would have echoed the players opinions on this forum.

But in any event, congrats to the winners.

Nate

Hello Everyone,

Just to be clear the only category that could be nominated by Casinomeister players was 'Game of The Year' the rest were nominated by an in house judging panel.

Best regards,
Daniel.
